Jose responded quickly to my request for my kitchen drain clogging up. He assured me he could clear the drain, his response time was super quick and gave me a good idea on what costs I might be looking at. He's super friendly, easy to talk to and not only gets the job done but does it right. The clogged drain in my standing shower was no match for Jose and his bag of tricks. I had tried everything in my power to handle the drain myself - boiling water, draino, drain snake, bent clothes hanger... to no avail. Let me start by saying that I would give QSP Plumbing a 10-star rating if I could! I found QSP, and his owner Jose, luckily through the Yelp Request Quote / Projects feature, which I am grateful for. I resorted to this when my house main drain line completely backed up just six days a different company allegedly cleared it. In hindsight, they seemed more interested in upselling me to replace the entire line from the foundation to the curb. Luckily, I had taken video of their camera monitor and, when the line backed up again, watched the video closely and I could see they had left right at the problem spot - way outside the line they recommended replacing! So, they had stopped where the trouble was, not fully addressing it, and then recommended replacing the line on a section that the video showed was clear. They quoted their illogical solution at $11,500 with the potential for a higher price tag. As I sat at home on a Sunday night with a backed up line I had paid to clear just six days before, realizing what had happened, I bet on finding a better and completely honest plumbing company and I found it on QSP and Jose. He treated the issue like it was his own home and went at it with better equipment, knowledge and skills than I was even hoping to get. Now, differently from the other crew left, last night my wife and I were completely satisfied that a top pro with care and respect fixed our problem for good. I have 4 rental properties and have had bad luck finding a LICENSED, honest, transparent and fair priced plumbing and gas fitting company to service my properties. I received QSP Plumbing LLC as a recommendation from a friend. I called the owner and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. Not rushing me off the phone. We made a game plan to meet at my properties to go over the problems that I have at each property and I was very pleased at what they had to offer price wise and deadline. Jose (the owner of QSP) fixed several plumbing issues for us in our new home, and he was fantastic. He replied to the service request within an hour, and he offered same-day service. He was extremely honest and good at his job. There was a more expensive service that we initially thought we would need (snaking a very long sewer line), but Jose diagnosed the issue and found that it would be a simpler, less-expensive service (replacing the p-trap under the kitchen sink). He could have charged me for both services, and I would never have known better, but he was very honest. Also, it was a fairly complicated plumbing diagnosis to make (involved mapping the pipes for the house in the crawl space), and he successfully made the right diagnosis and fixed the problem. His price was very reasonable. Finally, he was extremely positive and cheerful about his work, which is a pleasure to see. In summary, he was competent, honest, affordable, reliable, and pleasant.
