Super dissapointed. Brought in white shoes and brown boots for cleaning and repair. I wish I had taken pictures. My white shoes had some black scuffs that I figured wouldn't come off, but when I got them back, there were yellow spots all around them, and they looked worse than when I brought them in. He said it was because of how the shoe was made. Uhm...? I brought them home and washed them in bleach; they look almost brand new. Brown boots - glad he was able to fix the leather, at least. But the cleaning/shine job was below average. Ive had these boots cleaned before, and they looked beautiful. I don't think he cleaned them. That was a LOT of money. Wow great service and friendly . I have to wear braces to walk and often need to get the strap extended to accommodate. I live out of state and wanted to wear them to a special event and he was able to do it quickly and did a nice job. In my home state they would've charged a lot more and given me just extended Velcro vs adding a nice leather extension. Also, he said he could do customer shoes for my braces so will maybe give it a try when I'm in town next. Just okay. I haven't gotten a pair of heels redone in five years so I can't remember how they're supposed to look. But the three stars are for service. I dropped my two pairs of heels off Wednesday during lunch. I asked if he can have them done Friday at 9am (when they open) and he said "yes, no problem". I get there at 9am but he doesn't get in until 9:06. Which isn't a huge deal, but I'm on a tight schedule. What was upsetting is that when I asked for my heels, he hadn't even worked on them. He asked if I had ten minutes cause he still needed to "polish" them. I said okay and I heard the machine going so I know he hadn't even touched them. A 9am pick up ended up being 9:20. If I wasn't on a tight schedule it wouldn't be a problem, but I was so it was inconvenient. read more

This is the Best shoe repair shop I have ever been to. I have been wearing shoes for a very long time now. I am what you might consider a expert shoe wearer. In fact, I have a pair on right now... I have been to many shoe repair shops. Most of them are rip-offs charging way too much $$ for a simple job. They always "throw in" a half assed shine to justify their expensive price and they always end up using cheap materials (unless you pay extra). I took my Jcrew wingtips (not an expense shoes) in because one of the the sole was separating from the shoes. When I dropped it off we talked about a quick glue job. When I came by that afternoon to pick it up, instead of gluing it, he sewed it on cause he says it will last longer and didn't charge me extra. Oh yeah, it was also shined. I took in my heels to get cleaned and polished for a wedding, they quoted that they would be done at 4pm the same day. I didn't get there until the next day at 4:30pm and they still hadn't finished them. He asked me to wait a few minutes, but I'd stopped by on my way to another appointment, but i waited anyway. He proceeded to give me excuses for why they still have some scuffs and charged me $8. I was in a hurry so I didn't get a look at them until an hour later and they looked EXACTLY the same! There were two scuffs I was able to wipe off with my finger after the fact, so I'm convinced they didn't do anything with them at all. Disappointed. Won't be going there again. read more
