Master Shoe Clean & Care is a fantastic spot to consider for any of your shoe and sneaker needs. I'd recently got some shoes that had an oxidized midsole, and so I reached out in hopes of getting this fixed. I DM'ed them on instagram and they were very fast to respond. Their prices and timelines were very reasonable, so I made the trip up to Brea to work with them. I also decided to deep clean a pair of sneakers that someone had spilled drinks on, in hopes they could be restored to their former glory. The shop was super clean, and you could tell the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I knew my sneakers were in great hands here. I just picked up both pairs and was incredibly happy with how they turned out. The deep cleaning made my shoes look brand new, and the oxidation treatment had my midsoles looking pristine. I can't recommend this place enough; I'd recommend DM'ing them on IG or calling them to coordinate services, but you really can't beat their work for the price and quality. So impressed!!! I came in to get the sole of a rain boot repaired as well as inquire about cleaning my tremendously dirty ugg slippers. From previous research and inquiries I was told they would not be able to be cleaned well. Master Shoe ensured me they could clean them up and charged a fair price of $50. When I came to pick up my shoes, Ethan ended up fixing my other shoe for free since he felt the fix wasn't permanent but temporary. I needed some boots stretched so I filled out the "Get a Quote" form and included pictures of my boots. Yelp says the business 'normally' respond in 10 minutes. TWO HOURS went by without a response, so I called the business, someone answered by simply saying "Hello?" in a voice that sounded like they just woke up. I told him I needed to know if he could stretch some boots, I spoke very clearly, but he still responded, slowly.... "What is it that you need?" Me: "Some boots stretched!". Him: "What kind of shoes?". Me: "BOOTS!" Him: "I would have to see them first". Me: "I SENT YOU PICTURES!" Him: "On Yelp?" Me: "YES!". Him: "I don't do Yelp". I thought that 4.8 Yelp review meant something, but it obviously means nothing in this case. The last review in 2024 was in April, and only one review in 2025? In a nutshell, Ethan from Master Shoe C & C is a man of his craft. Here's my story. I had recently bought myself a park of rare Jordan 1 UNC's for my bday and was ecstatic but wanted them cleaned up a bit for personal use/collection. Through word of mouth a tried a guy (name won't be mentioned, he's off of Centralia in Lakewood and his business claims shoe wash but they ruined the tongues of my Jordan 1's left them with a blue stain. Avoid at all costs). When I felt that all was lost and I couldn't bring these bad boys back to life, I struck gold by finding Master Shoe Clean and Care on Yelp. With stellar reviews I had to give it a shot. Long story short, I walked into his business and was immediately impressed by the layout and displays he had set up. The man seemed like he knew his shoes and it gave me an air of comfort that I could trust him with this disaster. After a brief discussion on what he would do to fix them, cleaning inside and out, sanitizer the insole for bacteria and using a leather softener to bring back some life made me feel like I made the right choice. And man, yes I did! He saved some of my favorite kicks and I've been returning to him since with my other shoes. This is the only local spot in OC that specializes in resoling La Sportiva or Scarpa climbing shoes using 4mm or 5mm rubber. I brought in my Solutions and he did a phenomenal job. Instead of replacing the entire rand, he patches it with vibram rubber to retain the original fit. Usually at other places your shoes will come back half to a full size stretched. When I tried on my shoes, I didn't notice any difference! Resoling here will cost more but the attention to detail is worth it. read more
