I came in to…read morerent a lawn edger, they immediately set one up for me, had it filled with gas and the employee took the edger and loaded it in my van himself. I also asked to rent for 4 hours, they allowed me to keep it until they closed that day, for 6 hours! The first edger, after half hour of use had its blade shroud come loose. I took it back to them, they apologized, set me up with a new edger with a brand new blade. When i returned the edger at the end of the day they gave me 15% discount as an apology for the first edger's problem. I honestly cannot say that there are shops that put customer satisfaction as their foremost priority in this day and age. I am so glad I found this place. Guaranteed I will be telling all my friends and family to rent equipment from here. Keep up the good work guys!

Then was very patient with me when I took awhile to get him my ID and credit card info. It was a super cold day and his truck was warming up to head for home, but he didn't make me feel rushed or embarrassed. He stayed friendly and professional and even carried the heater out to the car for me.

As a medium sized landscape maintenance and snow removal contractor, keeping equipment running can…read morebe challenging sometimes. Extreme cold and snow cause the biggest issues because they are often unexpected. We needed to plan for that, and we decided to give Alberta Small Engine all our business a few years ago, and to build a long term relationship. We needed a new machine this winter, and they are in short supply from the manufacturer so we made the mistake of buying it from a different company that had it in stock. We found out after the fact because after sale service is non existent and we couldn't even get a returned phone call in literally over a month of trying. (That company will be getting an entirely different review lol) The machine went down this morning, and within an hour of talking to Mason, it was dropped off, taken apart, and is well on its way to being repaired, saving the day. They are even fixing some of the initial assembly errors made by the other company. Service, knowledge, parts availability, and staff attitudes are the things we value most, and we get it all from Alberta Small Engine.

I started it up in the store and was immediatly shut down. understandably I apolagized then ayoung man came out of the back and tied right into me, told me I should know betterand I apolagized again, this time he told me I could take my blower and F.... right off, we cursed back and forth and I left never to return. I went there feeling good about the place and I would deal there inthe future but they sure put an end to that. Not the way to treat a potential customer.
