I am writing this review based solely on my firsthand observations during a visit to this…read moreestablishment on August 14, between 9:00 PM and 12AM Upon exiting, I witnessed an active situation involving a customer attempting to de-escalate a conflict. The customer was then harassed and verbally confronted by multiple individuals, including the bartender, the owner, the bartender's boyfriend, and others present. This customer just wanted to replace his buddies drink that he spilled while saying goodbye to him and the bar refused. Mind you it was not closing hours and sir was legit about out the door. The situation escalated further when the same group followed the customer outside to their vehicle, where a physical altercation occurred in the parking lot. During this incident, I also observed a 16-year-old child being called upon by their guardian to participate in the altercation. This 16-year-old child appeared to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs and poor guardianship. Inside the establishment, I observed a young child, approximately 6-7 years old, present behind the bar during late-night hours. This 6-7 year old also witnessed the altercation and his parents were involved. Wow is all I can say. I also witnessed alcohol being served to customers without any identification being requested or verified, including individuals who appeared to be under the legal drinking age. I was one of these customers as well as my whole group. Not a single one got identified when being served alcohol. This review reflects only what I personally observed during my time at the establishment. Based on these experiences, I have serious concerns regarding safety, supervision, and responsible service practices at this location. I do not and would not recommend this place. They have very poor practices for de-escalating situations. They made the situation worse by far. Very disappointing. Contemplating, if I should file a report based on my experience and observations during my time spent within the establishment.

Then he followed us into the store and kept staring us down and wouldn't stop harassing us. He was wearing the shirt. We confirmed he worked there a couple weeks later by walk in at the bar. Not only that the prices are bad from the menu I seen and the place was dirty. Avoid them.

There is a competition for who serves the best tenderloin and even a "Tenderloin Trail". The Piper had their tenderloin sandwiches on special for $3 off regular prices during the month long event. The Piper is a popular sports bar near Morse Reservoir with a neighborhood bar vibe. A pool table and several electronic games are available for the night crowd. We sat in the inside dining area, but there is also seating on the patio and at the bar. Sports and beer decor cover the walls. Michaela, our server, was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. Michaela kept our glasses full. The breaded tenderloins are large and served on a fresh toasted sesame seed bun. The breading tastes flavorful and pork is freshly prepared. The sandwich was served with a dijonaise sauce and lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. The kettle style potato chips were delicious as well. All in all, it was a great tenderloin and worth the drive north.

This place is always super loud so don't plan on having a great conversation out yelling a bit! Parking is not bad. You park in the strip mall.
