They were very polite and respectful to me as well as my property. The electrician left a card because he noticed the red light on my generator. My electrician showed up the next day to do a service call on it as planned. The next day the guys were here to finish up the job. I highly recommend both Eric Sabo and his electricians which were Pallas Electric. Both companies were great.

Broad Brook discovered the leak, patched it, and done, for a fraction of the price. Amazing! I highly recommend their maintenance agreement plan, which covers you for a whole year, making sure things are ship-shape. I've worked with these guys for years, and it's wonderful to support local businesses who do great work! Hooray!

Dennis came to our home, charged us approximately $175.00 for an estimate. The repair work is quite a bit of work and costly, we are well aware. He reassured me his company could do the repairs and even continue to service our boiler. After receiving the estimate, I called and left Dennis a message on October 23, 2017, to have Broad Brook come do the repair work. As of November 14th, 2017 I have yet to hear from Broad Brook. I can't say I am impressed with this company. I definitely feel Dennis had no intention of seeing through with the repair work.

Bob Laudette, owner of James Carboni Plumbing and Heating…read morefor over 33 years, was negligent in fulfilling his contract upon the installation of the furnace on December 3, 2019.  "ALL WORK WILL BE PERFORMED IN A NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND WILL MEET OR EXCEED ALL STATE AND LOCAL CODES."   Obviously he did not inspect the installation of the project on December 3 or he was not up to date on building codes.  The building inspector gave him 3 citations for code violations.The chimney clean out door was cemented ..a potential fire hazard. Contrary to Bob Laudette's explanation, the chimney was serviced prior to installation and given a stamp of approval!  The oil line was not protected properly and would cause a major oil leak if someone tripped over it and dislodged it; the duct work/ bonnet was installed with major gaps heating the basement to over 90 degrees. Besides the citations for code violations, Bob Laudette has ignored issues with the furnace and units: combustion issues with small explosions, malfunctioning humidifier, blower so powerful it rattles doors, oil leaks, filters to keep the blower working properly and to insure quality of inside air malfunctioning, extensive dust, uniform distribution of heat is deplorable with the basement heated at 90 degrees and the upstairs rooms are cold. All this for $7500? Now Bob Laudette wants to come and service the new furnace three months later after he ignored numerous calls in January and in fact cancelled a service call. At that point, I had to call reputable and licensed contractors to check out the furnace but the problems still persist. I contacted other agencies for help.  Consumer Protection who has limited authority suggested I pursue legal representation.  My mother, Amelia Wakely, expected and paid for what she thought was an up to date working oil furnace. Why would anyone keep a lemon; deal with a company who fails to treat a client in a professional manner or not at all; who does substandard work and delivers a defective product and writes they have a great business ethic!  Could Bob Laudette possibly service the furnace in the future if he can't deliver an up to date American Standard working furnace now? My mother wants her money returned, the furnace and so forth removed, and the mess they left cleaned up. Bob Laudette did not install a system free of charge out of the goodness of his heart. Lastly, my mother's health living under these conditions has deteriorated since the furnace was installed December 3,2019 . With the pandemic, the directive now is to shelter in the safety and comfort of your home. The safety of her home is a health hazard. How insensitive Bob Laudette is to suggest this is a frivolous matter! Hopefully our experience will save someone from grief in the future! Photos supplied upon request!

After contract signing and deposit, no communications until I requested installation status, as it had to be done by year end. Promised installation before Christmas, then moved install up at last minute. After install, no communications for a month until I requested an invoice to file for rebates/tax incentives. I was then subjected to an confrontational, offensive phone call, ending with a hangup, stating I had to pay the bill "according to the contract". How can you pay a bill without a proper invoice? The sales person Paige has no business doing customer interaction. Installation crew was competent and efficient. Office administrative stall was very helpful. My previous experience with Dunklee installing two ductless room units was good, which is why I went back to them. Never again, and neither should you.

Customer service at Duncklee is HORRIBLE. She defends the "no show" technicians not once, but…read moretwice. This company doesn't have the decency to call the customer when they know their technicians are not keeping their appointment. They let you wait all day for nothing. When I called during the last hour they were expected to be at my home, the flippant office girl said, "They're not coming." No reason, no apology. How discourteous! I hired someone else to service my Mitsubishi and I'm glad I did. I don't have to waste my time with this disrespectful outfit. AND, if you tell the truth about a bad experience, they post your first and last name and disclose where you live on the Google reviews. I guess that's their form of retaliation. Well, the joke is on them.
