Best cat replacement price when your cat gets stolen. Avoid the others just come here. They only phone call you'll need to make. The end.

Took my car in to fix a bracket on the muffler. The man put it up on the rack and fixed it in no time and didn't even charge me as it was a simple fix. Really appreciate this and was referred by my wonderful mechanic at Precision Auto and was not disappointed! Great people and wonderful service here at A-1! Thanks to you all!! Tami Leppelmeier

They did a great job replacing the whole exhaust system on my 1965 Mustang. Their pricing is great as well.

I did need the help because I don't even know what kind of battery I need. One of the staff opened it up and figured out what battery it is. Unfortunately it's the exact one that they ran out. They offered to order some for me but since l don't live near by it wouldn't make sense to come back just for a battery. They told me don't worry about it and told me what type of battery it is for when I try a different place. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Car problems are stressful but I'm so glad I had a positive interaction and get some help. If I'm in the area and need something I'll definitely stop by this store.

Ford dealer no longer carries it. O'Reillys....nothing. Now not only am I stuck in Woodland with no part, but no path to even find the correct part. Happened to see that the CarQuest was open, but it was getting late. Walked in and talked with a really cool guy there. Explained my story. The electronic catalog was certainly unclear on what the correct part was. He went in the back and pulled out four candidates. He matched the shaft pattern with the one that I had removed.....PERFECT! Car parts is a tough business. The catalogs are often wrong. You're dependent upon outside services (warehouse, deliveries, etc) and have to commit based upon their performance. CarQuest reminds me of the old days where they were car guys who worked on their own cars, understood that midyear changes give a myriad of options, etc. Bottom line - CarQuest had the guy who could have just said that I have to bring in a better number or that it's unclear or even handed me another bad part. He went the distance and made sure that I had what I needed. We need more people and places like that. I don't remember your name (sorry) but THANK YOU

Traveling north on I-505, just a few miles south of the junction with I-5, my wife's car broke down (steam was pouring thru the hood). We called AAA road service and within a reasonable period of time, we were attended to by a tow truck driver. He recommended that we have the vehicle towed to Precision Auto Care in Woodland (about 15-20 miles away). Not sure how the tow truck got there so quickly, but by the time we arrived, the car was already there and mechanics were beginning to evaluate the problem. We were greeted by a Service Advisor, Lorena Torres, who quickly gave us a best case/worst case scenario of the problem. She said they would have a better diagnostic analysis within the hour. We returned to the news that the worst case scenario had occurred. A cracked radiator led to damage to the cylinder head resulting in a partial rebuild of the engine. Long story short, it would take a week to 10 days to fully repair. We continued our trip to Oregon in one car then flew back to the Bay Area to await the completion of the repair. Throughout the 10 day repair, with periodic calls to Precision, were were kept fully aware of the progress of the repair by Lorena. And, as promised, it was completed in the quoted time and within the quoted price. Once the car was back in our possession and we were driving it regularly, the car functioned perfectly. We were delighted to realize that, with the new radiator, the heater worked better than before too. Something else, too, that no other auto repair shop has ever done for us...About a month after getting the car back, we received a call from Precision to inquire if everything was OK with the repair. We'll soon be living about 500 miles from Precision, so the chance that we'll ever use them again is pretty slim. Yet, they took the time to follow-up to determine our satisfaction. That is pretty rare in today's world. This last week, we attempted the trip to Oregon in this vehicle a second time. I am happy to report that it performed flawlessly. No one looks forward to a multi-thousand dollar car repair, but we justify it as being better than having months of new or used car payments, as we pride ourselves on taking really good care of our older automobiles. Thanks to businesses like Precision Auto Care for performing such a high standard of repair that we can continue to justify our preferred method of transportation.
