Finding out you have a serious problem with your crawl space in that water is standing and has…read moreevidently for some time sent chills down my back. What a blessing that I contacted Swain Co. Mike Smith of the company inspected the issue proposed a fix that included a drainage system and sump pump. He also assured me that they could take care what ever issue they may find down there. His estimate was very reasonable. The work started when they said it would. WHAT A WEIGHT LIFTED FROM MY SHOULDERS. When the three man crew arrived and introduced themselves and the supervisor outlined what they would be doing and when they expected to complete the job. The supervisor, Efrain, and Salvador and Eddie gave me confidence I was in great hands. Now this is something you hardly ever hear anyone say anymore; but I have never seen three men work so hard and professionally as those three did. Efrain kept me totally abreast of the progress with before and after videos. I know I have restricted myself in the past to restaurant reviews as my wife and I are foodies. But I learned there are "artists" in other fields of work as well. Swain Co and their people are one class act as ND I would hghly recommend them for any crawl space, foundation or basement issues. You won't see them advertising on TV like other companies because they don't need to. Word of mouth by previous customer service have kept them very very busy.

I have really enjoyed working with Basement Systems of Indiana!…read more After getting estimates from a few companies we decided to move forward with this group due to both their price and their friendly and helpful demeanor. I had the main area of our basement waterproofed back in 2019 when this was under the Master Services Co. name. Unfortunately during that project we ran into a few issues (mostly due to newer employees) but everything was cleared up incredibly quickly and professionally once noticed. I cannot say enough good things about Jeff and his team here in central Indiana! We're moving from this house now but I will definitely come to them again for any future needs.

Good crew workers, but absolutely terrible communication from the office staff and supervisors!…read more The guy who did the initial inspection and estimate didn't describe the layout of our crawlspace to the crew correctly, so our 1-day job couldn't be finished on Day 1 (and because the on-site crew couldn't reach any supervisors to get guidance on how to proceed with a new plan since the original plan wasn't right). So a 1-day job that started on July 20th didn't get done until August 1st because they kept saying the crew was coming on a certain date/time but nobody would show up, so I'd contact the office again and they'd say the crew was coming but nobody would show up, and when the crew did finally get back here they had been told that we had removed a bush that was in the exact spot they needed to put a drain BUT NOBODY HAD MENTIONED REMOVING A BUSH TO US! And, once again, the crew couldn't get in contact with the supervisor! When he did finally talk to a supervisor they asked him if we wanted to have the drain set up in a different way that would mean the job got done that same day BUT their warranty would be invalid!! UM NO are you serious?! Absolutely asinine way to do business, I am shocked that they still get customers at all! So yeah, nobody from the office had called after the first appointment went awry to explain the situation and what they would be doing to fix it, nobody called when we had complained of the lack of communication to explain what was going on, but you can be SURE they billed me immediately after the job was finally done! No delays or waiting around to hear from their billing department haha. We will take our business elsewhere next time we need work like this done, for sure.

We needed this done pretty quickly and other companies we had contacted were all booked up. I got in touch with this company and Marty gave me a call back and offered to come by in the evening after he was done with his last job of the day to take a look at this for us. Right then I knew we had picked the right company. As a business owner, I really appreciated him going this extra mile. Marty didn't have an opening until the following week but knowing we needed this done pretty quickly he got there to inspect our basement quickly. He was very knowledgeable and just a great guy! We would definitely recommend Marty and this company for any of your basement waterproofing needs!

The drain line came loose under ground causing my yard to wash away and create a large hole. I have been told since December I was in the schedule to have this issue resolved. As of this week they still haven't addressed the issue. We have now reached out to another company to address the poor workmanship that was provided . The sad part is they had no issue taking my money. May want to get Bids from other companies as this company does NOT stand behind their work.

I can't recommend Healthy Home Experts enough for a fantastic job they did. I have already had Josh out to quote our next property. They submitted their plan and obtained the required permit through The Lake County Building Dept. and the plan was approved 06/18/2026. On 07/30/2026 the work was performed and the inspection was performed on the following day. The Building Inspector has a few things that need to be addressed by Acculevel in order to approve the permitted installation. The building inspector submitted his comments to Acculevel for resolution. It is currently 08/22/2026 and neither I nor the Building Inspector have had any response from Acculevel. I have tried to contact them through their service department and my project coordinator (Antonio) and the contact person provided to the Lake County Building Dept and have not received any information or followup from them. My remodel work is on hold until they get their permit approved. It "appears" as though they have no intention of following up to bring their work up to code. I will update this review if we are contacted by Acculevel to resolve this issue.
