Always a great experience. Everyone in my family comes to get their emissions done here. Even though we've moved a little farther away. We always come here. read more

Got my emission done in less than 5 minutes! This place is quick and fast. I will definitely be back

Great service and very friendly. I liked that he didn't have to touch my car and respected the social distance thing without me having to say anything. Thank you! read more

Just pulled in and had everything done super quick and professionally! Excellent experience definitely give them a visit!

Very quick! Went over lunch and and still had time to grab a bite on my way back to the office. The owner was very courteous and friendly. Will; definitely be back when our other car comes due for testing. read more

Always fast, professional, and courteous! I've recommended this spot to several people in the Lawrenceville area!

Went in for an emissions test. There was one car in front of me. The owner was fast and polite. I like supporting his business.

A bit of a drive to get to, but totally worth it. The owner, Urvin, is the nicest guy and he had my car out in about 4 minutes. No wait (and it was Saturday afternoon!), and only $15.00 - very pleasant experience, overall. Note: If coming from Boggs Road/Old Norcross, pass a few other emissions stations (located at gas stations) and you'll see The Herrington Shopping Center on your left. My GPS was directing me to another emissions station, and did not state that this place (A-1) is on the left side of the street from where I was coming from. read more

I've used this place many times in the past. $15 for a test. There's a place nearby which advertises $12 but it never seems to be open. Probably one of the cheapest places in the area (other places charge around $19 and up and when I've called them they have a 30 minute plus wait). When I have gone here on a weekday, there is little to no wait. Last time I went was about 11AM on a Saturday and there were 3 cars in front of me and the total wait time was around 10-15 minutes. read more

This place truly deserves their 5 star rating. A-1 will be my new "go-to" place for Emissions Testing now.

Was in the area working & needed to have an emissions test before my birthday next week. I quickly hopped on Yelp & found this FIVE star rated location & drove right over! I was in & out in less than 7 minutes. A1 service for sure! Quick & only $15.99! read more

Very quick and courteous. I was on the way to Brusters but i saw this place was open and my birthday is next month so i swung by. My dog was in the car with me and he asked what kinda dog etc. Took less than 10 mins and he gave us a BOGO off for Bruster's!! read more

Quick and easy service. You don't even have to get out of the car. Polite and nice owner.

Pulled up and two people were in front of me. The associate finished what he was doing with the one car and came right out to offer a smile, hello and a coupon for a free ice cream at the Bruster's next door. Service was very quick and the place is clean! Guy has been here for twelve years, he is doing something right. I will come back again. read more

Best emissions testing center in gwinnett. The technician is very nice and knowledgeable. I have lived in all parts of the county and will drive all the way here just for the service! It's also super quick like 7-10 minutes if that! I have brought all 3 of my vehicles here for the last 3 years! read more

I found this place because the emissions place that I usually go to across the street was closed. Luckily only a few feet down the road was A1 Emissions. It is an actual brick and mortar place at the end of a shopping strip with a real sign, not one of those janky places that look like a shed with handwritten signs. I drove in and immediately the owner greeted me and let me know I could stay in my car if I would like, which I did. He plugged my car in, did his thing, and everything was done in less than five minutes, and best of all, it was only $14.99! I gave him a 20 and let him keep the change because he was so polite, professional, and quick. They do accept cards, but with an extra charge of $1.00. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a quick and cheap emissions test for sure! read more

Been coming to him for 6 years now. Owner is nice and polite. Service takes about 5 mins.

My first time getting an emissions test done on my car. Very friendly and professional service!! Didn't take a long time either. I would refer anyone to come here for great service and great price. read more

This place is great and the owner is refreshingly courteous; will definitely come again.

Fast, friendly service. I brought my car here after reading the positive reviews. The owner makes sure you are ready to go in just a few minutes. My boyfriend also came here for an emissions test just a few weeks ago and had no complaints. read more

Fast, friendly, cheap and reliable @ 14.99 and under 10 minutes. The owner runs the business and is very informative and friendly. There was one car ahead of me that he was finishing up when he came to my window to introduce himself and give me his flier (with the infamous Brusters coupon.) He made sure to let me know that today was a randomly selected day to do extra testing for the EPA to gather information, and that his normal wait time of 4 MINUTES would be closer to 15 (even though he was done in 10.) I read all these amazing reviews before i went, and honestly i was just looking for somewhere quick and cheap, but this ended up being the highlight of my day! Really great guy running this place!! read more

Quick and friendly service. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes and the owner is very friendly and appreciative. Definitely the place to go for a vehicle inspection. read more

I read the review on yelp and decided to try this place out. Despite the recent snow, the owner was willing to wait for me a couple of hrs. When i showed up, he was very cordial and friendly. The service was prompt and accurate. And it was only $15! I plan to bring him more clients! read more

Customer service was great! Went during my lunch break and it took about 10 minutes to complete. Will be back next year!

I had been going here for 6 years and the owner is wonderful. He is courteous, professional and polite. The only reason I haven't gone to him this year was because I got a new car and emissions aren't required on new cars for a couple of years. Once I'm required to start getting emissions done on my new car, I will start coming here again. This is the only place I will consider for emissions testing unless I completely move out of the city. Highly recommended. read more

This truly is as good as it gets. I was in and out within four minutes! I also got the famous ice cream coupon the owner gives out for the Bruster's next door. I wanted to find a place that could quickly do an emissions test. This is the spot. For $15 I got the paperwork and was done with it. Great service. read more

My usual stop for emissions for the past several years. Courtesy, professionalism and timeliness personified.

Great service. Great price. Great time management. I was in and out in 10 minutes top. Owner is a genuinely nice guy.

Quick service, in and out and it was only $15. Bring cash he does not accept credit cards!
