We have shopped happily at this store for quite a few years, but from Nov 12th 2018, when the new parking rules start we will have to go elsewhere. 90 minutes maximum for a full weeks shopping, spending maybe £90/£100 each time is not conducive to a happy experience under such a limit....certainly no time to use the restaurant for a coffee break. The changes we are told is because people are using the car park who are not shopping in the store....so Waitrose are penalizing its regular weekly shoppers who cannot conform to a 90 minute limit.....don't you want our £90/£100 per week....you need to rethink such a silly idea.

I escalated the complaint they had the cheek to send me a harassment warning letter which I have reported to the police and police have said they have no right to do this and it means nothing And if I want to post on social media or go to papers we are entitled to do so . I don't wish this to happen to anyone else or my friend again . I know this will be deleted but I will get the word around . I have never said I want the person sacked. . I even have it on recording that I let police listen to I said she should be moved to a different department as the two things she has done to him is discrimination against his disability which is not nice. I did not know that there were 3 companies involved Churchill group ,jll and amulet but the way that this complaint has been handled is not right. And disabled or vulnerable people should not be treated like this and I am disabled myself with brain injury And cerebella ataxia yet they issued me with a warning of harassment letter . Is this how they handle other complaints I wonder. I reported it to the human rights and equality act and they have said this is a section 15 breach but-the glades are saying there's no evidence . Rows upon rows of gorgeous items of footwear at incredibly affordable prices line the walls and the shop assistants are very helpful in running around finding my size in every pair my eyes rest on so I normally leave with at least two boxes under my arms! On the our short walk home, we would alway stop at Flemings for a quarter mix of sweets. As it was also my pocket money day, I loved being able to pick and pay for my weekly sugar hit. I remember being on tiptoe, peering over the glass top shop counter, looking in wonder at row upon row of tall plastic containers full of sweets. There were Flying Saucers, Pineapple Cubes, Lemon Sherbets, Cola Bottles, Apples Sours, Rhuburb and Custards, Raspberry Shoelaces and so many other great things. I never thought I'd find that level of sugary joy again, until I stumbled upon Mr Simms Beckenham. This modern twist on the old school sweet shop was totally on point for me. From the cute displays, retro packaging and those all important plastic containers, full of my childhood favourites; it made me smile from the minute we entered the store. Run by Cancer Guler, a charming, ambitious,young entrepreneur with a passion for his product and a self- certified degree in customer service, our visit left us in no doubt at all that this store, is one business that's on a roll.
