Also, I had a man doing my nails, and he did not know what he was doing. For example, he started off by putting stickers around my and then just dragging acrylic all the way down the stickers. Then, my nail was about 2 inches thick and after he finished the French tip part which wasn't even a French tip. It was just a line across my nails. After that, some other lady came over and had to drill it and redo the whole entire thing and I had plans that I was late for. I also on that day went with my friend, and her nails were bleeding in six different spots. I overall would not recommend but I would say that they gave us a good gift after of a little panda that had a light.

The girl doing my nails showed the owner that my nails were very thin, which I had noticed since they had been chipping and breaking lately when going to my usual nail salon (will not name which because I had a poor experience there last time which turned me off from returning). The girl seemed unsure of what to do, so the owner stepped in and took over. He explained that my nails were getting thin due to rough filing and suggested I do the powder gel. I told him to do whatever his recommendation was. He explained to the other worker what he was doing as he worked on my nails and did an amazing job. My nails feel so strong now and will definitely be returning in a few weeks. The only downside was I was there for quite some time and had somewhere to be. Not their fault though. I didn't realize how much longer the powder gel process was than the polish process, and truthfully my nails were a mess - some broken, different lengths. He fixed them up completely and made them all equal. He noticed I was looking at the time often and said he was almost done. When I apologized and said I was just late for where I had to be, he finished up and grabbed my bag and coat and walked me out to my car. He even started it for me to ensure I wouldn't smudge! Amazing customer service, and unlike other salons, they don't make you feel bad for having less than perfect nails or confused on how to fix them. I get my nails done every 2 weeks, but due to thin nails they were a mess when I walked in. All in all, I had a great experience.

To make it up to me, my husband offered to send me to get a pedi. I finally got to go today (3 weeks later) and decided to try the salon that I've driven by every day for 3 years. I'm so happy I did. I got a basic white polish because it's one of my favorite looks for a pedi. The gentleman doing my pedicure was amazing. The shop was quiet for a Saturday but I'm very okay with that. He had great attention to detail and a very steady hand. Not to mention he gave a 5 start leg and foot massage -it feels like all my stress left my body! The basic pedicure was accompanied by a hot stone massage and the usual hot towel (both at the perfect temperatures, which i appreciate because other salons have burned me). Everyone is amazing but Caroline is top tier with her services and personality. She does a great job explaining everything she is doing as well as giving advice for what may work or what may look nice etc. She's not money hungry so she really wants her customers to come back as needed and not just every other week to make them money.
