Not only was she professional, skilled, and friendly, but she helped this bridal dunce navigate wedding planning and "day of" flow. She was amazing with helping us pose and also kept us laughing the entire time, making it way less awkward! We received our photos back while on our honeymoon, so fast, and they are BEAUTIFUL. I have booked Stacy several times since our wedding for various photos including headshots, family porch photos, and dog photos. I could not recommend her enough (and I do, frequently, and friends say the same thing I did: she's amazing!) Recently she came to my neighborhood and did COVID Porch pictures of families to document this time in our lives. She only charged us b/c I made her do so- (and even with my pushing, she was very inexpensive for the short sessions she did)- she does photography for her love of people and her love of the art.

One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wear a mask and maintain a distance so we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. Dan helped with photography at my daughter, Saanvi's 1st first birthday party... and it was such a…read morepleasant experience from the get go! To begin with, Dan asked the right questions on our first call to prep for his assignment, and based on details provided (100+ guests, some of whom may show up at different times; multiple mini-events to be held; requirement to have different aspects of the party captured including decoration, food etc.), Dan suggested we go with a photojournalistic method wherein he'd go about taking pictures randomly and, in the process, try to capture as many important moments as possible. And he did that, and more! In spite of there being a considerable crowd with multiple activities happening (simultaneously, at times), Dan managed to capture some beautiful, candid shots from the party. He also stayed back well beyond the committed time to take additional pictures when some of our friends and family insisted on having more taken! All this while taking lesser than the amount we agreed upon, as we both were short of change! And did I mention, it was a great bargain in the first place! I must also add that the lighting was pretty poor at the venue we chose for the birthday party - we honestly didn't see that coming as we had originally inspected the place during the day! However, Dan still managed to click some wonderful pictures for us, which is a testimony to his photography skills. We were so thrilled with our engagement pictures from Ashley! We had a two hour session on a Sunday…read moremorning at Bloomington's Indiana University campus. Ashley did a fabulous job of capturing the campus's natural beauty while keeping the focus on us, the couple. She was also a lot of fun to be around. Ashley made us feel at ease in front of the camera, and our pictures turned out great. We are so glad that she will be our photographer on our wedding day. This was supposed to be a lifestyle shoot but I wanted some of my newborn breastfeeding as he is our last... I could have taken these myself. A couple of the decent ones my oldest son looks angry. The editing seems to just be switching it to black and white. Im more irritated because I can't go back and get newborn images. For anyone looking for lifestyle pictures I'd consider looking elsewhere. Very sad especially when paying 400.00. Seesh, yall its a sad day!
