The answer to your questions about hiring Stacy Able Photography is YESSSSSSS. When our destination wedding was impacted by coronavirus we made the decision to get married in Indianapolis, alone, with our families watching over zoom and postpone our big wedding celebration for a year to April of 2021. One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wear a mask and maintain a distance so we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. Stacy was professional, prompt, helpful, and boy is she talented - just the best experience possible. It was beyond our expectations. People are still contacting me months after to tell me how great our photos look - like, friends of friends and beyond. People we don't even know are contacting me about these pictures. Hire Stacy! If you are looking at this and would like to talk to me, please ask Stacy for my contact information so I can answer any of your questions, I am happy to connect and give a glowing recommendation. This was the best part about our wedding. read more

Hiring Stacy for our wedding was the best decision we made. She came as a strong recommendation from our planner and it is easy to tell why. Not only is she is incredibly kind, with a remarkable ability to put people at ease, but she also overdelivers with her images in every way. The way she captured our engagement session and a full weekend of wedding festivities blew us away and is something we'll cherish forever. Even our guests commented on how she really got in the action and captured the dance floor without impacting the vibe, and those are some of our favorite photographs from the night. My parents also could not stop raving about what a delight she was and how painless she made the process of many formal photos. It is true that you will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than anyone else - and there is not a better person to have by your side than Stacy. read more

Came back to update this review because Stacy is worth the time to do so for! Booking Stacy as our engagement/wedding photographer several years ago was one of the best decisions I made with regards to our wedding. Not only was she professional, skilled, and friendly, but she helped this bridal dunce navigate wedding planning and "day of" flow. She was amazing with helping us pose and also kept us laughing the entire time, making it way less awkward! We received our photos back while on our honeymoon, so fast, and they are BEAUTIFUL. I have booked Stacy several times since our wedding for various photos including headshots, family porch photos, and dog photos. I could not recommend her enough (and I do, frequently, and friends say the same thing I did: she's amazing!) Recently she came to my neighborhood and did COVID Porch pictures of families to document this time in our lives. She only charged us b/c I made her do so- (and even with my pushing, she was very inexpensive for the short sessions she did)- she does photography for her love of people and her love of the art. read more

Out of all of the decisions associated with our wedding planning, choosing our photographer has been, hands down, the easiest. I followed Stacy on Instagram at the urging of a friend and was blown away. Her photos are always beautiful and she has such an incredible talent!! She is able to capture the essence of everyone - and everything- she photographs, whether it's a formal engagement session or a now-socially-distanced front porch pet session. She put both my fiancé and I at ease during our session and made it FUN! I am certainly biased (), but we have the most stunning engagement photos. Stacy was so laid back and easy to work with- truly a professional. I could not be happier with how our photos turned out and can't wait to see our wedding photos (however and whenever it happens (December 11th))! I was so glad she was available for our date. Truth be told, if she wasn't I would have changed our date to fit her schedule! . read more

Stacy is beyond professional and talented! We have used Stacy for engagement, wedding, newborn, and now our 1 year olds pictures (and can't wait to use her for years to come!). Her attention to details is incredible. She makes the clients feel extremely comfortable which shows in front of the camera. I love that we get a variety of candid shots as well as some that are more posed. Stacy is truly able to capture every moment that you'd want to cherish and remember for years to come! We love her and her work so much! read more

Stacy is wonderful. She takes photos that capture the details of a wedding--the shoes, decorations, and, of course, the people. While modern and clean, her style is still romantic. When brides tell me that Stacy will be taking their wedding photos, I know that they are in good hands. read more

Stacy is the best. Her photography is so beautiful, elegant and fun. Stacy photographed our 2014 engagement session and wedding and was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. She is professional and very experienced, as you can see from a visit to her website. I thought it could be awkward to pose for pictures but Stacy not only put us completely at ease, she made it feel very natural and relaxed which came across in our photos. Stacy's turn around time is very quick, I was amazed to see our wedding pictures soon after returning from our honeymoon. She keeps you in the loop and I was never left waiting for a response to any inquiry I made. I couldn't recommend her more! read more

I left Stacy a five star review after our wedding and here we are a few years later with five more stars. Since our wedding, we've used Stacy for all of our family photos, and she has always been an absolute joy to work with. Each time we've used her, we've gotten beautiful photos and she turns them around within her promised deadline every single time. I love that every time we get photos done, we have a great experience and she has fresh ideas - we aren't just taking the same photos every time. I recommend her to everyone! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about working with Stacy. First of all, she is amazing. Her work speaks for itself, and it is obvious that she is incredibly talented. She came highly recommended from friends of ours, and we have highly recommended her to literally everyone we know needing a wedding or family photographer. I loved that she was very flexible with scheduling, she's responsive when trying to get ahold of her, she helps guide you with how to pose which is great, her pictures were phenomenal, she's extremely professional, and you get more than what you pay for with her. However, what I loved most about working with her was her character. She is so caring and thoughtful when it comes to working with her clients, and she really treats her clients like they are her close friends. While she is very professional and keeps you on track, she has a great sense of humor and can laugh with you through possibly awkward moments or stressful situations. Stacy is simply a delightful human being. I'm going to continue to recommend her to anyone that will listen, and I definitely plan to use her in the future for family pictures. read more

I did some online research, including Yelp and reviewing photographers' styles on their websites, before making the decision to contact Stacy. She was very responsive to my inquiry and we set up a time to meet. We found her to be very relaxed, but happy to please -- exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. She was willing to work out a custom package with us (we didn't want an engagement shoot), and the time required to set everything up with her was minimal -- just a couple of coffee meet-ups and a few emails, and done! That was worth a lot in my opinion, because it was simply difficult to find the time to get everything done during the wedding planning process! On the day of the wedding, Stacy and her second photographer, Walter (also her husband), showed up on time, were completely relaxed and professional, and were a joy to work with. There was a major rainstorm on our wedding day, and Stacy handled it like a champ, making sure we were sheltered while standing out in the rain herself with an umbrella to get the images she knew would look best. She took advantage of the rainy conditions, too, by getting beautiful pictures of our rings with raindrops falling all around...so cool!! We, like most couples, are not used to being the focus of a photo shoot, so we really appreciated Stacy and Walter's clear direction to get the prettiest shots. They made sure to get group photos of some of the guests, a variety shots of the environment including the landscape, table details, and florals, and of course beautiful photos of the two of us. It's easy to see the "story" of our day from start to finish. After the wedding, when everything was done and edited, she sent us a link to our online gallery but also brought us a USB with the photos in an adorable little gift box with a few other items. So sweet and personalized! We were thrilled to find a wedding photographer that took such quality photos and also fit our personalities. read more

Stacy is a fantastic photographer and has the right personality for the job! She made two camera shy individuals feel comfortable during engagement and wedding shoots. Stacy is a professional in all aspects of her career. We always got a quick response when contacting her, and she was always kind and courteous. She ensured that our vision was being carried out, but was also able to provide helpful recommendations. The quality of our photos was top notch, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We had a snowy winter wedding and she delivered on capturing a magical snow globe moment. Stacy's turnaround time in producing our photos was quick, and well within the timeframe she allotted for herself. We would HIGHLY recommend Stacy Able Photography and plan to use her services in the future! read more

Stacy captured our engagement photos and did an amazing job! She made us feel very comfortable, and the pictures turned out fabulous. She was very quick at getting back the proofs to us and really made the while process very easy. I highly recommend her for your next photo shoot! read more

We hired Stacy Able Photography after falling in love with her photography style posted to her website www.stacyable.com. I was a little hesitant to sign with a photographer without having any knowing anyone else personally that had used her but after a few back and forth question and answer emails between her any my husband (who is a professional videographer) regarding her equipment set up and approach we were ready to hire her. The day of our wedding Stacy and her second shooter came onsite and went straight to work. She captured EVERY element of our wedding with a fresh, artful look - always using the light to her advantage. She's extremely professional and at ease even when everyone starts buzzing around. A few weeks ago we received our wedding photos and my husband and I couldn't be happier. Her pictures are incredible and she delivered above beyond what we could ever have hoped for. She has such a vintage, romantic style that really stands out against the rest. If your looking for print worthy, once in lifetime pictures - Stacy Able Photopgraphy is the only way to go. Stacy is simply amazing!! We hired Stacy for our 2015 engagement shoot-- not only did she make us (and our pup) look great on one of the hottest days of the year, she came up with brilliant ways to hide the pup when we wanted some solo shots. While we originally planned on taking some shots at the canal, a baseball game (and the related traffic) threw a wrench in our plans; however, Stacy came up with an amazing alternative resulting in some brilliant pictures. Moreover, she finished our pictures quickly and even sent them on a disk! Stacy is simply wonderful, kind, and a great photographer. More importantly, if you want someone who will care about your special day as much as you do, you should go with Stacy :) read more
