Came back to update this review because Stacy is worth the time to do so for! Booking Stacy as our engagement/wedding photographer several years ago was one of the best decisions I made with regards to our wedding. Not only was she professional, skilled, and friendly, but she helped this bridal dunce navigate wedding planning and "day of" flow. She was amazing with helping us pose and also kept us laughing the entire time, making it way less awkward! We received our photos back while on our honeymoon, so fast, and they are BEAUTIFUL. I have booked Stacy several times since our wedding for various photos including headshots, family porch photos, and dog photos. I could not recommend her enough (and I do, frequently, and friends say the same thing I did: she's amazing!) Recently she came to my neighborhood and did COVID Porch pictures of families to document this time in our lives. She only charged us b/c I made her do so- (and even with my pushing, she was very inexpensive for the short sessions she did)- she does photography for her love of people and her love of the art. read more

Out of all of the decisions associated with our wedding planning, choosing our photographer has been, hands down, the easiest. I followed Stacy on Instagram at the urging of a friend and was blown away. Her photos are always beautiful and she has such an incredible talent!! She is able to capture the essence of everyone - and everything- she photographs, whether it's a formal engagement session or a now-socially-distanced front porch pet session. I did some online research, including Yelp and reviewing photographers' styles on their websites, before making the decision to contact Stacy. She was very responsive to my inquiry and we set up a time to meet. We found her to be very relaxed, but happy to please -- exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. She was willing to work out a custom package with us (we didn't want an engagement shoot), and the time required to set everything up with her was minimal -- just a couple of coffee meet-ups and a few emails, and done! That was worth a lot in my opinion, because it was simply difficult to find the time to get everything done during the wedding planning process! On the day of the wedding, Stacy and her second photographer, Walter (also her husband), showed up on time, were completely relaxed and professional, and were a joy to work with. There was a major rainstorm on our wedding day, and Stacy handled it like a champ, making sure we were sheltered while standing out in the rain herself with an umbrella to get the images she knew would look best. She took advantage of the rainy conditions, too, by getting beautiful pictures of our rings with raindrops falling all around...so cool!! We, like most couples, are not used to being the focus of a photo shoot, so we really appreciated Stacy and Walter's clear direction to get the prettiest shots. They made sure to get group photos of some of the guests, a variety shots of the environment including the landscape, table details, and florals, and of course beautiful photos of the two of us. It's easy to see the "story" of our day from start to finish. After the wedding, when everything was done and edited, she sent us a link to our online gallery but also brought us a USB with the photos in an adorable little gift box with a few other items. Stacy is simply amazing!! We hired Stacy for our 2015 engagement shoot-- not only did she make us (and our pup) look great on one of the hottest days of the year, she came up with brilliant ways to hide the pup when we wanted some solo shots. While we originally planned on taking some shots at the canal, a baseball game (and the related traffic) threw a wrench in our plans; however, Stacy came up with an amazing alternative resulting in some brilliant pictures.
