Felt like a newbie when I walked in, but by the time I left I had a whole new group of friends and family. THAT WAS 20+ years ago. It's the perfect neighborhood bar with great food and atmosphere. Patio outside with misters making it very comfortable to enjoy outdoor dinning. The jukebox and plenty of TV's are fully present for all your entertainment needs, with karaoke, bingo, trivia and more to add to the nights fun. My favorite item on the menu are the double dipped wings and on Friday nights they've got a killer prime rib special. Enjoy! read more

Wow. We spent $44 on potato skins, pretzels and french onion soup via Door Dash. I cannot begin to share how nasty and cheap this food was... the "beer cheese" sauce for the pretzel was so grainy and coagulated that we couldn't even eat it. The potato skins were huge globs I'd really OLD potatoes with scant toppings and ice cold. The "french onion soup" came in a styrofoam cup and was so old it was rancid with grey onions and what looked to be a crouton. The "sliders" were grey chunks of unidentified meat, no cheese, no Mayo or ketchup or anything. Just dead meat and very hard buns. In all, there was no redeeming quality in any of this terrible food. The owners need to pay grave attention to the sheer quality of this mess they are serving to the public. read more

The food is pretty good but service is lacking. If you are not a local or over the age of 65 forget about getting service. When I have gone in with a friend my age (mid 40's) it took forever to get waited on. I went in a few months later with my parents (they wanted someplace local with good food) and we got service right away. Just recently I went in for a takeout order(It's one of my go to places for a hamburger when I want to splurge) and the waitress ask if she could help me very snotty like I was an 18 year old child not supposed to be in a bar. Going forward to I will only order through Uber eats so I don't have to go in and deal with servers who think only locals and the boomer generation should be the only ones allowed in the restaurant. read more

Me and my wife was looking for something to eat, my wife say the place next to her work place, her co worker say is good. We give is a chance and try it tonight. We ask to sit on the patio since the weather is nice. The music is good and the environment is lovely. The crowd is mostly Caucasian and us., which is fine. Our waitress seem friendly and after place our order, kind of weird that she ask us to pay first. I give her my card and think nothing of it unit i saw other customers sit down after us but she didnt ask them to pay first. I wait a bit and ask her about it and she state that she ask every one for their credit card first and place a hold on it, and is not a pay first. She also mentioned that they got people walk out without paying. I dont want to make things bigger and just say ok. I check my bank while we still waiting for our food and my card did got charged for the food we didint eat yet and other new customers arrived and didnt get their card put on hold like us. read more

Had horribly soggy fried calamari, zucchini and French fries. oil tasted old And dark in color. Calamari very over cooked. Not even sure I could say the burger was great. Manager was helpful, but owner was not. Ordered through door dash and was told we needed to go through them to get refund. That was misinformation From owner. I ordered a ceaser salad the night before which was quite good and why we ordered again. Due to owner not being helpful we won't order here again. Poor hospitality. read more

Came in with a party of 6, took the server several times back and forth to get our orders right after 4 out of the 6 orders were delivered incorrect. I ordered buffalo chicken salad and my partner ordered boneless buffalo wings. He never got the wings, we waited over an hour and they never came, after repeatedly asking our server. We finally left and got him a hamburger at a fast food place to tide him over. Won't be back, too frustrating of an experience. They have a nice patio but the service is awful. read more

A little loud and full during Happy Hour. I stopped in for a glass of champagne. First time here, the weird shape of the place is confusing. Seems like you bump elbows a lot trying to get around the bar and tables. Noisy and tight with patrons. I'm not sure I'll come again. It's not the typical Scottsdale happy hour scene. This is my first review. Me and my husband are "Birds of the Snow" from Canada and this is our first season down here in Scottsdale. We live very close to this place as we have came here about 15 times this our first season. We have always sat at the bar and have met some nice people. The owner/manager Nicole has to be the rudest person in existence. In our times we have spent at the bar she has never said hello or how are you tonight. My husband asked her for some ketchup one time and she just slammed it down like it was a burden for her. The employees and customers all have nothing but bad things to say about her. How can this type of person be a bar "owner"? This is to bad as my husband like the chili and the clam chowder and we both liked a few other dishes. This is not about the food or the service as the food is overall pretty good for bar food and the service we always received from Sam was always great. It is to bad one bad apple destroys everything. Her parents who we met are such nice people I can believe the raised such a rude, spoiled brat, creature. Also, reading from some of the other previous review posted on here, I read that she is getting violent with customers? We will find a different place next season and will not be back. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! We had gone in on St. Patrick's day, out on the patio table that is under a heater right when you go out on the patio, already ordered drinks and the Friday fish fry. Second round of drinks and food just arrived, manager comes out and says the table was "reserved" and we'd have 10 min to find another table, then she comes by while we're still sat and drops a reserved sign on the table. No mention of being sorry, or offering to find us another table and maybe even comp a round of drinks... NOPE!! I'll always think of it as 92nd Street Cafe, but new ownership and management has maintained the atmosphere, superior service, and excellent food. The prime rib on Saturday night is especially good. I am so absolutely disappointed I moved to the area two years ago and have been coming here generally 4 days a week to play pool, and today me and my father spent over three hours shooting pool laughing and smiling and two drunks came up to play us and verbally threatened my father that they're "gonna break this stick over his F&cking skull" and then we were met with the "actual" owner kicking us out and a bartender calling us embarrassing and awful after trying to explain how we are regulars and have never started an argument in the years of coming here and were booted out. It's safe to say that neither me, any of my family or any of my fellow bartenders will ever return. It breaks my heart a bar I've loved and tipped hundreds if not thousands of dollars is now tainted from me and my family because two drunks decided to threaten my father with violence, and protecting my father was met with being kicked out. Being a bartender I can promise you've easily lost over 40 regulars.... Goodluck to your bar we will never be back. read more

We've been coming down from Oregon to Scottsdale for 12 years on family vacation. My family and me always make a few stops at that place and have enjoyed our experience in the past. We decided to make our yearly stop in and what a horrible experience we witnessed and had. My kids are 6, 8, 11 we were eating dinner and apparently the owner's daughter Nicole is having an altercation with other customers using foul language, yelling, screaming in front of my children as well as basically the whole restaurant and right in front of our table. So I asked her if she could please stop swearing and yelling and take the altercation somewhere else due to my children are present and scared of what was going on. She told us to shut the f#%k up and shes the owner and if we don't like it, we can get the f%#k out too. So we paid our bill and left and never finished our food. Totally unprofessional behavior towards the other customers as well as to my family. I don't know the owners and feel very bad for them that their daughter treats their business and customers that way. Their daughter should not be in the restaurant/bar business and lacks all customer service skills. Absolutely no people skills. I've read some of the other reviews on Yelp and see many have had the same horrible experience with Nicole my family had. Over 20 such complaints just on her alone. What a shame, was such a nice place before her. We'll never go back there again. read more

I love coming to 92nd Street as I love the food and service. I have been there on Bingo night which is a lot of fun and lots of good energy. The service has been superb. , A few of us find it to be one of our preferred meeting spots. I love the salmon salad and the nachos. Great outdoor seating and lots of TV's for sporting events! Bad experience at the "92" The owner "Nicole" is the worst person ever. Me and a friend were having lunch on the outside terrace and we were trying to enjoy the mediocre food that was brought out and some lady later found out to be Nicole the owner's daughter put a reserved sign on our table and said we have to move immediately. We asked for comping our meals or drinks and she wouldn't have it, she threatened to call the cops if we didn't move to a less desirable spot to finish our now cold food. A couple of her friends came and sat down at our table and they were all laughing about moving us. I have never felt so crappy in my life. Thought karaoke night would be fun for a friend visiting me from out of town. Ruined by a "regular" according to the manager, Nicole. Profanity, humping literally the wall. Sat at peoples tables unannounced and uninvited. Made people uncomfortable. We asked for the check early. Used to really enjoy coming here with family and friends. Past several years noticed food and service has been going downhill. Didn't realize it was under new ownership until recently. Son still goes there frequently to be with his friends. Owner confiscated his ID and wouldn't return it after supposedly validating it but still claiming it was fake. This is his drivers license, which puts him in a bad position until he could retrieve it from the police when they open after the weekend, assuming the owner would give it to them in a reasonable time. So instead of waiting and hoping, we called the local police who said business owner has right to do so and that they don't typically come out, but did anyway because of how respectful he was on the phone (their words). The two policemen that arrived were professional and polite, talked to the owner, and were able to retrieve son's ID. So much for the theory of it being fake, which is a crime in AZ. Needless to say, won't be going back, owner is too unhinged. So many other places that are family friendly, have pool tables, good food, karaoke, and better management. read more

I'm not usually one to consider the opinions of others, HOWEVER, when a "manager" of a bar tells you she "thinks" you are underage even after showing her your id that clearly proves you are very much over the age of 21 and forces you and your friends to leave the bar... it's quite humiliating! Check out Ernie's inn (same kinda vibe as this place but way better) or if you're looking for something a bit more chic, check out Geisha a gogo in old town Scottsdale. Stopped in for a bite after providing transportation to a friend for a colonoscopy. After visiting this place I believe I received one too. Server was more interested in serving the regulars including some guy named big daddy. Their Norm Peterson apparently. We had to ask for menus 3 times and finally had to go to another server to get them plus drinks we had ordered. Also when my friend ordered his nachos with ground beef they arrived with chicken, even though everyone heard him say ground beef. Later when he ordered a vodka cranberry with 1 lime, she proceeded to make a vodka tonic with a lime. I tell ya I actually kept waiting for John Taffer to walk in. Here is the problem, the owner named Nicole. Nicole is the most rude person and appears to care very little about her customers or her business. She never said hi to me or my friend, but he explained to me that she is always that way were she hates her customers and she thinks she is above her employees. When I requested simple napkin because I spilled my wine a little she acted like it was a big burden to her. She never spoke to me or my friend as you would think she would speak to him as he has been in there several times. This use to be a great place under the former ownership but this woman has ruined the vibe of this who bar & restaurant. I have a had time going back to support this establishment. I want to support local restaurant BUT unfortunately I can't support this restaurant. I've been coming here for the last year and sitting at the bar and the female bartenders are so sippy and rude. At first I was just like maybe they are having a hard day. But time after time the same behavior. Is it because it's two women, I'm not sure but enough is enough I guess I'll go to Ling and Louie's, Stone and Ivy, or Salt and Lime, down the street. Good place to come for some cheap drinks but not if your in a hurry. Not very tentative, but has decent food and great prices. It's a neighborhood bar feel to it which I like. I probably would come back since most of the time I'm not in a huge rush and like to take my time anyways. It's in a decent area and has a dog friendly patio. Lots of sitting room and is pretty open and you don't fell crammed in. read more

Have been to 92nd a few times over the years as it is in the neighborhood. Staff is always great. Last night I watched Nicole, the owner, assault two minors who wanted to enter the restaurant. She wouldn't let them in because they "looked young". She grabbed both young men by the shirt near their throats and slammed them into the wall as she tried to physically remove them from the restaurant. These poor boys were shocked and clearly didn't know what was happening. Several other customers had to intervene to calm her down. She tore their shirts and scratched their chests. If you were one of these young men please reach out to the police. You were assaulted by Nicole. I will be your witness. There are security cameras as well. Nicole created a dangerous situation for the customers and her staff. We spoke to several servers after... they all are terrified of her and clearly hate working for her. Friday 6/4 at 5:00 four of us arrived at the patio. Twenty minutes & nobody greeted us. We moved inside to the booths in back. Another 20 minutes and no server. Hostess dropped off menus and said she'd get a server. Two Booths away on either were guests being taken care of but we were ignored. The female server purposely ignored us as we waived. After wasting 40 minutes we left never to return. I understand under staffing, but she was hugging other patron and chatting while ignoring us. Not that busy! i came into town to visit a few friends and we went to 92 st, because this was the place we use to hang out at all the time. I was sadden to find out it had been sold and the new own did not keep up the standards that it once had. the place was a mess with papers on the floor. The bar was sticky, I went into the restroom and the manager was in there. She left the stall and did not was her hands. YUK! I saw a woman spill her drink and the new manager just swipe it with her hand. They then put clean glasses where put in the same area. We saw enough so we left and won't go back. No one behind the bar was wearing a mask. It is sad to see such a great place go to the dogs read more

This was quite the surprise! I've lived in the vicinity for 25 years but for some reason never made it here. But thanks to the pandemic of a lifetime I've been ordering delivery from places I've never tried. I has a very tasty chicken quesadilla for starter and a Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich which was probably one of the best I've had in a long time.
