I'll be honest, as a non-connoisseur (some of my coffee drinking friends would call me a philistine) I was a bit intimated about visiting 92 Degrees on the corner of Hardman and Hope Streets but it was a handy spot to meet a friend this afternoon so thought I suggest it.
On arrival I immediately felt out of my depth as I have absolutely no idea what a 'pour over' coffee is. However I was intrigued so, being the intrepid and committed reviewer that I am, I asked the girl behind the counter to explain, which she did beautifully. Then when I said tentatively "ooh, that sounds a bit strong for me..." she kindly directed me to a coffee better suited to my delicate, Yorkshire Tea drinking palate. And I must say, the Americano she has just brought me is delicious! I think I'll have another one when my friend arrives! Two 'proper' coffees in one day Gemma?? Good lord!
Also props to whoever chose the playlist here...I've already enjoyed 'Runaway' by Del Shannon, 'Tiny Dancer' by Elton John and Hold The Line' by Toto. Yes!! Come on!! read more
