We did the online format with one and the traditional in-person class with the other. Both experiences were fantastic, well-organized, and incredibly thorough. Our most recent graduate did the in-person class and absolutely loved Dave. He was the classroom teacher and also served as the instructor for one of the behind-the-wheel drives. Dave has a wonderfully calm demeanor, which is exactly what a teenager needs when learning to navigate the roads. They are a scam. They get you in the door at the Lynnwood office by charging a lower cost then the other 912 Driving schools nearby. They then are bias towards pretty young women who are white. Be old. Be Black or African and you are conviently flunked and must retest on written and roadtest. They do not offer you any warm up roadtests. They do not hp you know the test vehicles. They do not let you finish road tests for any small infraction. They just take your money. A $99 test package quickly becomes a $200 test cost or more. Unlike some other test schools they charge you to use their vehicle ontop of the package cost. Do Not Test Here! Go to Xcelerent driving school for fair cost and testing in Bothell. The young lady was extremely rude to me when I asked her to show me the result score she didn't wanted to show me the retake for the test and she kept saying don't argue with me it is what I'm saying and go argue with the dmv not me, when I insisted to show me she left the office in a very rude abrupt way without even answering me and I had to deal with another person than her!!! This first young lady never wanted to show me my score not the first neither second attempt as they don't let you see your score when you submit the test and when I asked her and persist to show me she was doing things on the computer took long time and this proves they lack credibility and honesty as she was editing my score on the computer as she didn't just open my profile and show me immediately it took her a lot and she was typing things on the keyboard editing my score!!! Terrible communication and customer service. They are rude, only give partial information, and aren't clear about requirements (and there are a bunch of stupid extra requirements that make no sense and aren't clearly identified as requirements in the student portal). They send lots of useless emails about what requirements there are, not which ones your kid hasn't completed, and then they charge you more money for an "extension" of the time to complete them. This is a world class zero star business. They will collect your fees for tests and consecutively keep canceling all appointments so that it will meet their own convenience. Knowledge test has been canceled twice, for the first cancellation, we got a phone call. Ok that's fine. The second cancellation nothing. We show up and was told that there was an email sent out, however upon reviewing our inbox, all we received was in fact a reminder of the appointment and not a cancellation. And yes we checked our spam and junk folder... Such a waste of time and joke this place is... One of the most poorly ran businesses I have ever seen. I'd recommend any other driving school besides this one. I understand that COVID threw a wrench in a lot industries, especially ones that are necessities like state licensing. However even after almost 2 years since the pandemic started, they still don't have a firm grasp on how to: 1.Staff adequately for the demand (and retaining that staff) 2.Prioritizing customers and their employees instead of their bottom line. Despite having a backlog of kids who did not have to complete driver's education by a deadline due to COVID relaxing some DOL requirements, they continually filled all of their classes to max capacity despite there not being enough drives or instructors for new students *who are now expected to complete the course by a deadline*. They not only filled classes to max capacity but have RAISED their prices during the pandemic at least twice. This completely takes advantage of the fact that the DOL outsources their license and permit testing and this school is the closest to the Lynnwood DOL, so everyone (immigrants, teenagers, people renewing licenses, people who were released from incarceration, etc) all have to pay an asinine amount of money to be able to get a license to drive, work, get an apartment etc. Since I know the owners care a lot about the reviews, I speak to you now. Take better care of your employees and instructors, the people who make you all of your money. I watched at least 6 people come and go in the span of 9-10 months, and the only ones you seem to stand by are the ones you can't afford to lose without losing customers. I truly hope that things have improved for the sake of staff and your customers but nothing will improve unless you dismantle and reassemble your entire management strategy. You live in another state and send the owner of a different school to be your "guy on the ground". Sent two teens here the last 2 years and it has been the easiest experience. Online classes worked great, makeups were easy to schedule when needed, deuces were easy to schedule and the office was quick to respond to email and phone calls. The instructors are rude, unprofessional, and inconsistent. I was trying to voice my opinion about how I didn't appreciate the way the instructor was talking to me and instead of taking accountability he played victim. No apologies or anything, he just claimed why he didn't understand why I said he was being rude but he would have if he let me talk, instead he kept cutting me off and said that he was just doing his job. He claims he was doing his job but where in the job description does it imply that you have to be disrespectful? Where to begin... The course itself is fine; I learned to drive, and it was easy enough to follow. The issue comes with literally everything else. Their schedule is TIGHT for drives, so you'll have to wait months between each test. Each one is 50$, too, and if something happens that stops the drive- for example, you accidentally wear flip-flops, it's cancelled. (But you still have to pay the 50$!) I honestly felt scammed Then, on to the instructors themselves. They don't pay attention in the car, playing games on their phone while you drive, and when they do pay attention, instead of correcting any mistakes you make they get angry and shout at you. I had a perfect drive, but near the middle I ran a stop sign while being tailgated- instead of at least waiting until the stressful situation was over, my instructor started shouting. Instructor was rude, didn't tell me ahead of time to get shoes.They came right at 9 and told me at 9:07 that I need shoes and for being 1-2 min late, canceled my drive.my house is about 5 min away and if he told me right away when he came I would of still be able to drive. I enrolled my sister in law Mary Jane (MJ) to 911 Driving School in Lynwood, WA. Driving Instructor Robert "Rob" Clarke was assigned to help MJ. I ride along and observed 4 out 5 lessons. MJ was nervous at first as English is not her primary language. Our concerns about communication barrier was immediately diminished when we heard Mr. Clarke speak the first time. Mary Jane and I were very impressed with Mr. Clarke for the following reasons: - He was clear and direct to the point in giving instructions. In addition, he enunciates words very well (none of those nasal sounding pronunciation of words). - He used MJ's mistakes/errors as a teaching moment. He also give positive comments/feedback when things were done right. No arrogance. His teaching style/approach/presentation maximized the learning potential and/or capability of the student. - He is very professional on ALL of those times towards MJ and I. He have not used those paid times to asked us about ourselves or any personal information. He knows MJ's name as he always checked her driver's license prior to each lesson and call by her name but I'm not sure if he knows mine. And it's okay :) as he maximized student learning time and utilized those times on our favor. - Mr. Clark have a professional, attentive and calm demeanor. He made his points and delivered the lessons without any sarcasm. - He was able to assess MJ's strength and weakness fairly quickly and used more time focusing on teaching and practicing where MJ lacked skills. There was no time wasted. Every penny we have paid to 911 Driving school in Lynwood WA was very well worth it! - Lastly but not the least, he made those driving lessons easy to learn and he ensures the student implemented SAFETY maneuvers at all times. After the lessons were completed, I am now confident to have MJ safely drive my car. I would highly recommend Mr. Robert "Rob" Clarke who works for 911 Driving school located at Lynwood, WA. wish i could give this place 0 stars. the whole thing is okay, its just the woman in the front that ruins the experience. i went in to makeup my missed class, and i had to watch an hour and 40 min long video. After I was done the woman asked me if I sped it up. I was honest, so I said a little bit, like at 1.3 (didnt even make a difference). I was still there for like the same time, its not like i finished it in an hour, and she said the DOL doesnt accept it sped up. This woman is so unprofessional and made my blood boil. She didnt even tell me that before I started. She cant even do her damn job right, now I have to waste another hour and 40 at this damn place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My family and I had a horrible experience with Micaiah and the whole establishment. She is super rude and unprofessional. Every time we had to deal with her, she had horrible attitude. She has no clue what customer service is. She should never be allowed to work with customers. I brought my sister all the way from Marysville to take a driving test. We were 7 minutes late and she gave us rude attitude and asked my sister to reschedule and pay for the test again. We were never informed that being 7 minutes late would result in rescheduling. It was never mentioned in their policy, as well. I've been driving for 14 years with 0 traffic infractions and due to moving to the state right when my California license expired I had to take this test with this driving school. she lied and said i never stopped at 3 stop signs which even with their terrible breaks on their cars I STILL DID. said I crossed over a line that was NEVER there. said i never turned my wheels on the hill, I DID! ***This was me giving them a second chance due to them sending me away for 1 minute late the first time! Two times ive been here and left with Nothing but disparity, $100 less dollars and lost in hope that Racism isnt as common as it is...stupid me. I underwent the driver's training classes at the Lynnwood 911 driving school, and I came away totally impressed. Enpart and all the other staff members were wonderful and very helpful. Enpart especially, is a great instructor, and has a very effective way of teaching. He taught me the key watch-out items, and helped me become proficient. So we did the driving test here as well. The instructor Lucy I think was very nice and easy going that my wife did not have to fear anything but be calm and drive safe. My daughter, who is a very conscientious straight "A" student who by all accounts, has been performing very well in her driving and passed her written with a 92%, just failed miserably on her driving test. Enpart was her driving instructor. He failed her on several sections of the test. Some reasons he gave for failing, were not taught in class and seemed wildly subjective. He has a reputation for being rude and berating his students so my daughter was very upset when she learned he was going to give her the driving test but she felt she performed well anyway. She was shocked when she saw her scores. When questioned about why she failed so many areas, he blamed it on the fact that she and a few other girls talked too much in class and that it was my failure as a parent to not address it. I would not recommend this school. Their job is to teach the kids to drive. If a conscientious student, who has put in all the hard work, fails numerous sections of the driving test, then they have failed and should take responsibility - not add significant charges to retake the test. read more

I took my drivers test here last Friday with an appointment at 9:30am. I was extremely nervous since I wasn't the most confident driver. My instructor was Rob and he was very nice and instructed me where to go. The test was mainly in less populated neighborhood which was great. I was happy that I passed even with a couple mistakes! I'd def recommend anyone who wishes to take the test without a wait. The DOL only does road test on Wednesday and it's always really busy. After the test I was told I could go online and receive my license or head to the DOL which we did. There magically was no one there which made the process very quick! read more

I just came from New Jersey state and my husband was trying to take a driving skill test today. The driver's instructor was very good person. I had a problem with the receptionist who has black hair. Her attitude was so terrible and made my day sucks. I recently came this state and I did not know the information about the road test in WA. So I was asked few questions and then her answer was ridiculous attitude towards me and my husband. Wow. Being a USA citizen, honestly I met this kind of person was my first time in my life. (Not in NJ and not in WA) I agree with at the bottom review, I DO NOT want to say it's "DISCRIMINATION" to asian. But I guess, its right way to say. In USA, there are plenty of immigrants out there but that attitude is not acceptable when you work as receptionist in USA. Just took my driving test here this past Sunday (thankfully I passed!) I was worried because I get pretty bad test anxiety but the instructor was super nice and accommodating. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but she had curly-ish light brown hair in a ponytail I think? Also the front desk lady (Dani?) was really nice when checking me in. I'm pretty sure she was the same person I talked to on the phone to schedule my driving test after paying online - she was really patient with me when trying to find an available time slot, especially since weekends are usually pretty full. I was actually considering taking my driving test at a different place in Everett at first (bit closer for convenience + Hwy 99 scares me lol) but the car I was using had an issue with a warning light on the dashboard that I wasn't sure would make it ineligible to use. When I emailed the Everett place, I got a relatively unhelpful and vague answer that basically said "Don't know, depends on the instructor. Can't guarantee anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" ... so pretty much asking me to gamble with the time and money I'd potentially waste by showing up and having an instructor say my car can't be used :I Also, one would think that driving schools would have a set standard this kind of stuff instead of randomizing it based on the instructor's preferences. I emailed this place (Lynnwood 911) shortly after with the same question. And I quickly got a reply with a straightforward, definitive answer saying that yes, my car can be used even with the issue I described. No beating around the bush or asking me to take a gamble. Cool beans. So on test day, I checked in about 30 mins early and was called up for my test pretty much on the dot for the time I was scheduled for. I was worried I'd get some power-tripping jerk but, as mentioned earlier, my instructor was hella nice and helped me feel less nervous as the test started. She spoke clearly when giving directions for what maneuvers I should do and where I should go. After the test ended, she explained where I got points deducted and in turn what I should have done in those cases. Overall, the test was a pretty smooth experience. Hopefully I won't ever be in a situation where I have to test for my license again but uh... should that ever occur, I'll test at this location again :'D read more
