Rude, rude, rude. Driving instructors are incompetent and dismissive. Owner doesn't care.

*** Review for 3-day beginner motorcycle permit course ***…read more Let me begin by saying that Sherry Jennings and Sean Grimm are absolutely excellent instructors; you can really tell they care about keeping you safe. Sherry's enthusiasm and passion for motorcycling and teaching were amazing. She has a very vibrant way of teaching that easily holds your attention. Both Sherry and Sean were super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They WANT you to succeed and they're beyond great at what they do. That being said, it would be nice if the class sizes could be smaller. Our class was 16 riders. On the range, we had both instructors present, but I felt like if there had been fewer riders, there would have been more room for individualized help and feedback. I want to be very clear that this is a critique of the WMST class itself and NOT a fault of the instructors in any way--the instructors truly did their absolute best to help everyone and spent extra time with the people who needed it most while still being attentive to everyone. Having more time on the range would also be helpful for nailing skills down. The bikes seemed to be well-maintained (take with a grain of salt since I only rode two). I liked that we got to pick what style of bike we wanted to ride. I felt extremely lucky with my classmates; everyone was super kind and supportive of each other, which was awesome! Honestly, a big highlight of this experience for me was the other wonderful people taking the course alongside me--to say they were great would be an understatement. *** End of review, advice below *** I have literally zero experience with motorcycles and was lucky enough to pass my permit exams first try. FOR ALL MY FELLOW COMPLETE BEGINNERS, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE!! This is a whole new skill you're learning and you absolutely need to set yourself up for success! *Your course includes the Champ U NEW RIDER online course, at the BARE MINIMUM you need to complete the portions outlined in the email. But don't stop there. COMPLETE THE WHOLE ENTIRE ONLINE COURSE **BEFORE** YOUR IN-PERSON COURSE! You really need to set yourself up for success with the book learning, especially if you don't have access to practice with a motorcycle. Even if you have previous experience, I would still recommend completing the entire online course because you want any misconceptions corrected before they possibly hurt you. The online course covers a lot of great stuff, there's really no reason not to do it (it's free!). Plan ahead and start it early because it takes a while to get through everything, but this is a lifelong skill and I promise you it's totally worth it! *ENGAGE IN CLASSROOM DISCUSSIONS!!! PAY ATTENTION DURING CLASSROOM PORTIONS! Show the instructors that you are listening by engaging with the discussions! IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, ASK! The instructors are super friendly and are more than happy to explain anything you're wondering about. *Watch videos of the permit test on YouTube so you know what to expect *Take deep breaths and try to relax! Watch what everyone else is doing and see how everybody is making mistakes. IT'S OK! That's part of learning! It helps your confidence when you realize that pretty much everyone else is struggling and learning too! If you don't pass the first time, don't beat yourself up. This is difficult and there's a LOT to process. You can know what you need to do and still panic under the pressure of a test. Just do your best and don't give up. Stay safe!

He took the time to answer everyone's questions and created a really supportive environment. I'd definitely recommend Leroy, especially after hearing mixed things about other examiners. For Driving test I…read morehad the worst experience here! Idk if my driving instructor is just rude or just racists to me in way where i feel likes shes indicating or saying something that made me feel uncomfortable. For my first visit I did walk in and she was the one in front and i was doing driving test and she ask if I had WA I.D. Since english is my second language i don't immediately get what shes trynna look for i told her That i have WDL number/and school I.D. Or permit and she immediately said so you dont have WA I.D. and she keep saying so your illegally driving then? Idk what came to her mind thinking I been driving illegally when I passed my permit couple months before starting my driving tests. I explained to her that when i took my knowledge tests at 911 driving school they told me i can just get driving tests as soon as possible mind you I'm (19 y old). so she let me drive which I shouldn't done on our first test she failed me and gave me 0% just because I'm speeding 28/25 miles and i dont stop fully. I told my dad and he thinks she's unreasonable for giving me 0 score just because i was speeding a little bit. Also shes been smiling at me and look so happy when she told me my results that made me feel uncomfortable its like she loves seeing people fail in front of her she didn't give me tips on how to improve so i felt like shes being sarcastic and for my second try she recognized me and this time i went slow and she didn't passed me just because i was dangerously slow i was going 17/20 mph idk if shes not looking the sign but she told me i was going 15/25 mph street when it clearly said 20 miles and watch for people crossing. Its like she's intentionally failing her students who are different so I highly don't recommend the place specifically this branch because it's overpriced and it's better to get your test somewhere else specially when you're not white. Btw her name is Cherry don't recommend her at all cost shes not worth of your money its ridiculous that they charge $65 for failing you i regret going there and made me feel like i wasted my time and money just to get 0 score because of her unreasonable result.

They were very helpful in helping me figure out how to get the required documentation and were extremely patient as I navigated phone trees to get AAA to email over the proof of insurance. WMST Express was kind enough to print a copy for me to have current proof of insurance in the car. They saved me and were so helpful and patient with us. Highly recommend coming here.

I would not mind coming in for an hour and teaching that portion if you would like. My daughter went through the program about a year ago and she tells me that topic is not covered. I told her that's hard to believe but, it is in the drivers guide. Maybe she didn't pay attention that 39 minutes it was talked about???? Simple- Steer it and clear it if possible. -call 911 -Have DL, Reg, POI in vehicle. -Do not accept not calling the police an option as the other person may not have insurance or valid DL etc. there is a reason why they want to leave before the police arrive!! Even if the damage is non reportable, the officer can still write the person at fault a ticket!!! Anyway just a thought, Keith

My daughter was their to take a driving test. The driver instructor was very rude he told my…read moredaughter that she could not take the test due to her wearing g Ugg shoes. He was very disrespectful about it. He told her they have no refunds . He than proceeded to take another girl who was tsking the drive test in place of my daughter mind you wearing the same ugg shoes. My daughter is native american and the other girl was European american white. I couldn't attend my daughter's drive test that day I had to work. But I believe that my daughter was wrongfully discriminated against. My daughter is sweet and very respectful. When I called to speak to a manager. The young girl who answered was very rude. And stateded"we don't give any refunds" she started "the Washington state department of licensing says my daughter can't wear those type of shoes to take a dri e test" I asked if that was stated on the 911 driving school website. She said yes. I asked her are you sure. (It doesn't say that anywhere on their website) she never got the manager. I than asked if my daughter can take the test with another driver. This was an option. My daughter is rescheduled. I feel like this needs to be addressed. I wonder how many people, young kids of color they do this too. They just take their money and not give them a chance to even take the tests. No refu d policy needs to be adjusted or a new staff. Who do not discriminate. This is not right.

This is a solid school, originally built on the standards set by its predecessor, the late and…read morerevered Ed Taylor. A few of the folks at TaylorMade were hired by Ed. It is evident that they have been able to maintain the quality and caliber of education to the founder's high standards. Truck driving school is quite an investment of time and money and you have to make sure that its for you. You also want to do it right - it's a hell of a lot of responsibility and it is not easy. Driving a truck is a calling and a profession. I took time to research the trucking schools between the Canadian border and south to Everett. I checked out the reviews, the websites and I took the time to drive around Skagit, Whatcom and Snohomish counties looking for a great truck driving school - driving around their yards and snooping around. I chose TaylorMade Truck Driving School in Burlington and I have no regrets. They are not the least costly school, but the program is very thorough and anticipates all of the costs extra. They will work with you, and they won't give up on you. This made all of the difference for me. The instruction was top notch. The instructors are all very different, but they meet and talk in the mornings and at the end of each day. Each student's learning day is graded; the score cards are used as talking points between the instructors. This communication of student progress really allows for a high level of individually tailored instruction. The best part is that the lead instructor is a natural at teaching. He really gets it and truly understands that every person learns differently; the key to success in teaching is finding out how each student learns. It certainly worked for me, an old guy who needed a late life career change. This old dog learned some new tricks and I have the folks at Taylor Made TDS to thank. They rock!
