Calm and friendly vibe. They have notebooks and tons of book-related accessories too. I even found a wax seal and the wax to go with it, for fancy letter-writing. Signs indicate that several book clubs meet here so if you're looking for one, this might be a great place to start your search. Parking is available on the street - and there are other great businesses within close walking distance too, a coffee shop, plant store, brewery, and more. It's also right along the bike path for an easy break during a ride.

Everyone here is really nice and the staff is always super helpful when you're looking for a specific record. Overall, a great record store.

The shop itself is very small but they fit a truly excellent collection in the space, focused on books by and about Black people. There is a section in the back with kids' books. In addition to books, they have a large selection of greeting cards and a small shelf with puzzles and games. Look inside the front cover of each book for pricing. Friendly staff, easy street parking, great vibe. The shop is inside this residential-looking house - you'll see signage as soon as you walk in directing you which door to use (it is on the same floor as the main front door).

Pricing is overall fair and market value. Owners are very knowledgeable and passionate about the music. Parking is limited with a restricted private residential lot and private church lot. During the week I usually would park in the church lot since it isn't open. Compared to other area shops, this is near the top in terms of quality vintage selections. They miss the mark on new and popular releases if that is what you're looking for. Overall worth the stop and I encourage you to spend some time there.
