I highly recommend 8 Mechanical! Our air conditioning wasn't working as of late last night. I called and they sent somebody out here right away. They did an excellent job of explaining exactly what went wrong and fix the problem on the spot. They also gave me some helpful tips, like not letting my dog pee on my air conditioner! My home warranty service assigned them to repair my refrigerator. After the initial inspection, they determined the part needed to correct the problem. once the part arrived I scheduled the repair appointment. The tech arrived in a timely manner. They got the part installed quickly and took the effort to make sure the unit was working properly before having me sign the closing paperwork. The business does all of it's scheduling via text and they don't always announce who they are when texting. I found that unusual and almost didn't respond to their messages. At least they referenced enough of the service order that I was more comfortable responding with text instead of call. read more

Agreed to pay for a logic board, two switches plus labor. What ever parts isn't used I'll just keep. Repair was done and the repair person didn't want to leave the unused parts until I asked for it. I asked for the old parts and he gave me a switch that doesn't look like anything that's currently on my system. I verified on my system that the current switches was never replaced. Asked for a refund of the missing switch that wasn't given to me and the owner initially wanted me to return that one new switch first. In response to Mike's reply, I'm not unhappy. I'm happy I did what I needed to do to make sure you guys couldn't scam me. I wrote this review to warn others to be careful when doing business with you. This company is the BOMB. Not only did we get fast service, but John was also fantastic and very knowledgeable. We put in a request with our home warranty department (our AC was blowing hot air) on Sunday July 2, 2023, and Mike contacted us on Monday to scheduled us for that Thursday July 6, it being a holiday and not to mention it being a105 degrees outside. My husband explained we had some medical issues and he said if we get a cancellation, we will see what we can do. About an hour later he called and said I am sending someone this afternoon. I didn't ask was there a cancellation because I know it wasn't. John came and took care of everything. All I have to say is thank you, thank you and thank you again. Will I use them again? A work order was put in for this company to service my home under my home warranty. I was advised that there would be a max 48 hr turn around for contact to be made by them. I waited...we ran thru the wkend. Monday came & left. Tuesday still nothing. No email, no text, no return call. I wasted 5 days waiting. I ended up calling my warranty and they submitted another work request to Indoor Quality Service. I was contacted and got an appointment in 2 hrs. Their HVAC Specialist Angel came at the end of a 11 hr day, fixed my heater and left me a very happy customer. I was dissappointed with 88. Will not recommend them in any level. It's just no class to have a business and noy even show any courtesy. If ur busy, so say and recommend. But nothing! Smh..nope! 1 STAR for you bvuz thry won't let me post with NO stars. #FAIL *** Their business mgr Mike is lying. I have email confirmation that my "warranty" sent a work order. I as a little unsure being that my homeowners warranty recommended 88, and I had never heard of them, but I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Not only did they come out on July 3, they were able to fix our ac on the spot. I called them 3 days in a row with no response in addition to the warranty company calling them. I tried to go to their office but all they have is a PO Box at a mail store. Ok, so I was fortunate enough to have had my service request transferred here through my insurance because my previous contractors were unresponsive and wouldn't show for appointments. Mike was very straight forward with me from the beginning and responsive. Even came sooner than planned. Then I want to say Frank?
