I got a quote for and purchased a cataloged standardized DIY no angle cut engineered 12x16 backyard gambrel roof barn. This was the beginning of my 84 Lumber nightmare with store 2316 Huntersville. I was dismayed when I was repeatedly asked questions about what was included in the quote when they had all of the quote and pertinent material directly in front of them and then the answer to many items on the list was well we don't stock that so I ended up explaining their own product line to them. They didn't know their product line they were inept at changing the billing to the upgrades I wanted they didn't deliver it as they promised it was just brought out and dumped and they only delivered half of the material. Later when I called about the rest of the material they said we don't stock these items and we can give you $700 credit or a check. So I contacted customer service at their main office up north and the representative listen to my story and asked to the counter man was I said listen he's not authorized to offer me that stuff $700 for $1,000 worth of missing material I said that's somebody inside there that doesn't want to be bothered. So she did get right on it and contacted the store the contacted me a day later and told me they would get it all together so then one day delivered that it was still missing parts and I thanked her for getting me at least the bulk of my $3,000 purchase but then I was going to get what else I needed from Lowe's or home Depot and I was divorcing myself permanently from 84 Lumber. So that's my 84 Lumber experience. Shorted 420 ft of dimensional Lumber hoping that the bracket set is complete. The beautiful catalog kit section under corporate website is a fantasy while the real deal at the store is a nightmare I hope it goes together as for the blueprints and instructions it's going to be a nice Barn I just went through hell to get it read more
