The deck has failed miserably! After 11years, the pressure treated wood has rotted, it is not safe. We are just waiting for our building permit and the stairs and deck will be replaced, but not Prestige! The actually offered nothing as far as a warranty or even a break on a rebuild! I was told by Alex, if they replaced the failure of the installations they have done, the company would go bankrupt! Now, not all the decks and other structures they have done have failed as horribly as ours. They did offer me an estimate to do a new deck, my answer was no even though they cheaper than the company we are using! Alex also told me it was not his companies fault but the government because the arsenic was removed from pressure treated wood. H e did fail mention that the grade of wood that was used was not not premium wood. They used cheaper wood but still charge for a superior product, that is the only explanation for such a horrible failure. They should have offered to replace the structure at their cost if they cared at all about customer service. And no, we didn't count on it the replacement being paid for, we are completely prepared to cover the cost!

After reviewing the work in daylight, I noticed several items did not match what I understood was included in the agreement. Existing hardware was reused rather than replaced. The posts that were supposed to be reinforced with additional concrete were not secured. A post on a neighboring fence was replaced without prior discussion. An old post was also left leaning against my fence. I contacted the company about these concerns and was told they would be addressed. A crew later returned, but there was disagreement about the scope of work. I requested follow-up from management. I was later informed that another crew would be arranged, but I have not received further communication. Based on my experience, I recommend carefully reviewing the scope of work, documenting all agreements in writing, and inspecting the completed project thoroughly before finalizing payment.

At the quote, I requested a front fascia board and was told they would "definitely try to make it happen." It never was. The finished fence didn't match the look we discussed--especially the rounded gates, which we never approved. When we complained, they returned to "fix" it using the same poor materials. We even asked if a tree stump near the fence line would be an issue--they said no. Turns out it was, and now the area looks awkward and poorly planned. Customer service was terrible. We only got a call months later, when the finance company wouldn't release the funds until we confirmed we were satisfied. This was in early 2022--after multiple ignored messages from us and even a portion of the fence being smashed by a neighbor's tree during a blizzard. When someone finally came out, we were told the original salesperson had been fired for making promises he couldn't keep. They "cut us a deal" to repair the storm-damaged section for $1,000--which was absurd, considering we paid $20,000 for the entire fence across one acre. Over the years, things have only gotten worse--bowed boards, sagging gates, and an unstable repair job. I've reached out many times with no response. In late 2024, I commented on social media warning others, and someone from the company reached out. He came to look at the fence and admitted it was built incorrectly--too low to the ground, causing moisture damage. He agreed it needed real repairs: the gates fixed, some boards replaced, and one section stabilized. After the holidays, he came back to say the company refused to do anything. That was it. I've emailed both the owner and the manager for months with zero response. MC Fence is completely unprofessional. They do not stand by their work or their word. The insurance adjuster was, very poor, at best. No in-house inspectors sent. Using third party inspectors, they failed to even see a majority of the damage. This went on for about 9 months. 9Hammers was very involved in getting the re-inspections done when the third party inspection reports came back without noting the scope of the damage, and the current condition of the roof. 9Hammers was finally able to perform an inspection with the 3rd party inspector. Several more emails back and forth to ensure the repairs were done properly, and we now have the repair completed, 11 months after the damage occurred. Had it not been for 9Hammers, we would have had a repair completed that would have no warranty, along with a hole left in the sheathing. Ray and Chuck were very professional. Having been on the CC line to the emails to the adjuster, they were also very professional with the insurance company, despite the "shenanigans" the insurance adjuster was pulling. I do not know how they stayed so patient throughout this process. I highly recommend them for any roof work, and will also be using them when it is time to redo our decks. This creates a potential for water damage to the sub floor, and damage to my families feet as the boards are so uneven that you could slice your foot if not careful I requested a full refund as all of the flooring is completely useless now due to the amount of unnecessary caulk applied throughout the project. I also now have to pay someone to come demo all of it, new tile (250$) and to reinstall it. I requested only the amount i paid for labor (408$) and was just going to eat the cost of the flooring.​ He offered to come fix it, but the entire bathroom has to be redone and I do not trust his skill set to complete the job.
