We scheduled for a week when we were on vacation. I returned Sunday to this pristine driveway. It was immaculate. I walked the whole thing. They trimmed the grass around the edges, moved 2 potted plants that I forgot about and came in very close to the estimate. Shawn stopped back and went over everything in person. I couldn't be more pleased. I was out mowing the yard 2 days later and had a couple stop to check it out saying that they drove past when it was being coated and came back to see the finished product. They said they were going to call! Good luck Shawn! I'll call when we need you again!

The first time I used them, they came to paint some interior railings, and did a fantastic job, even if they were hard to get a hold of initially. A few weeks later, I contacted them again to come out and do an estimate for me on a good deal of exterior painting and repairs. The estimate was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. The day of, the time span they gave came and went, and no one showed up. I called half an hour past the time frame, and was told that they had no idea where he was, and that they would text me. They texted a while later saying that he wasn't able to make it, and asked to reschedule for Wednesday. I agreed, understanding that these things happen. On Wednesday, I received a text an hour before the allotted time saying that something came up, and that he needed to reschedule for Thursday at the same time. I had a conflict, and asked for either Friday or just to text them pictures of the work to try and do a virtual estimate. They asked for pictures, and I sent several, with detailed instructions for each. I didn't hear anything for the next nine hours, and received a text late at night saying that Friday would be better. That brings us to today, where again no one showed up during the scheduled appointment time, and where again I had to reach out and find that they, again, did not know where he was. I told them there was no need for a fourth rescheduling. If you can get this team to come out and actually do the work, they will probably do a fine job. However, be warned - you might never get to see that for yourself if they treat you they way they have treated me.

Turns out we have some really odd connections... nice connections... but the kind where you are like, wow, maybe this was supposed to be. Jennifer was VERY prompt and called me the next day to say she was in the area if I wanted her to stop by and measure the driveway. I saw where someone said they got a military discount. I didn't know about the military discount, my whole family including me are military, but it wasn't mentioned. However, because we were flexible enough to work around their schedule and when there were in the neighborhood, she said they could give us a discount. It did take a couple of weeks to get it scheduled b/c I had to find financing and then I really needed that price break, so I was trying to work with their schedule. But Jennifer was great and kept in touch checking on me throughout the following weeks for when I was able to secure the funds. To sum it up, Driveways is a family owned and operated company with Jennifer, her dad, and her brother all there on the day they laid the driveway. They were VERY fast, very efficient, and worked to get everything done in an hour and a half. It was fun to watch them work! I would recommend them to family and friends.

Our main concerns were the bathrooms, which hadn't been updated in over 2 decades. My father-in-law has had No Limits do extensive work on his house and couldn't stop singing their praises. We were lucky to be able to schedule them to address our top priorities. The team books up pretty fast. They were kind and professional. Paul took me to a few shops and we picked out tiles and hardware. He is very knowledgable about style and was helpful with helping me balance the cost. The team got to work on demolition right away, while waiting for the items to be delivered. No Limits stayed within our budget and cleaned up a corroded valve that leaked into the kitchen. They began work on the bathrooms mid-September and finished early November. We were staying in our apartment so we weren't in a big rush. I was consulted on paint colors and tile placements. The team put in a lot of thought on how to arrange the master bathroom features, given the size. We are impressed with this team and very pleased with the final look. It's a bit of luxury for us. We hope to work with No Limits again in the future.

Unfortunately the company is experiencing a ton of turn over and I have actually heard from other clients they are just as frustrated as we are. My review update to this negative stance was recently removed off yelp. It was brought to my attention by another client who is having problems and asked me if I was able to find any resolution. Thankfully my husband is in construction and in order to end this headache we are having Dannex fix some bad tiling work and we will tackle the basement ourselves. First Choice Chimney Service was wonderful to work with! Our house was having chimney/wood stove…read moreair flow problems and we hired Michael to add an outside air intake. This was to improve efficiency and heat output by helping our older wood stove achieve optional combustion temperatures. We also wanted to avoid an issue where soot had blasted through any crevice in the stove twice when oxygen level shifted quickly (at least that is what I think was the issue; I am no expert). This outside air intake would also help oxygen not be depleted in the room. It was an unusual request to make because of the type of wood stove we have but we wanted to make the system more functional and Michael installed the intake. He did good work the first day but I wanted to comment on his helpfulness the second day he came over. After the install of the air intake, the downstairs of our house was very cold because outside air was streaming through those same crevices that soot got through. Michael came back quickly after we called to add special insulation where he could on the stove and around the pipe/tubing leading outside. He made sure everything was sealed extra well and also put in a sort of switch thing to open and close the tubing when needed. This cold air coming in was not Michael's fault; it was because of the kind of non-pedestal older wood stove we have. I don't think any of us realized how many crevices there were that air would seep through. We are grateful that Michael came back to do these extra steps and fix our system at no extra charge. It was obvious he wanted to make sure we were happy with the work overall, and we are. We would hire him again and probably will if we have future issues or want to install a new stove one day!
