I have been coming to this smoke shop for years, even after I moved away from the area, I get out of my way to come back for the vibes. Walking in here feels like I'm coming to a friend's house, everyone is so welcoming and happy to be here and on top of the welcome atmosphere the variety of products they have is always mind blowing. read more

There are only two or three places I go to for last minute hookah tobacco, and this is definitely one of them. Their selection is solid, with a lot of different brands to choose from. The pricing is reasonable, and honestly, they're one of the main spots that always has everything in stock--no matter what I need. Even for the small stuff that's easy to overlook, like needing a new bowl, they've got it. The service is great, and so far, I have nothing to complain about. read more

The employee wasn't willing to replace a defective product that I had bought only the night before. I noticed in the morning after I bought it that my vape was still hitting even after I would draw so I stopped hitting it for the rest of the day. I was very busy and wasn't able to go back to the shop until late at night the following day and the employee didn't want to replace my vape. Every single shop that this has happened to me at has replaced the vape. Unfortunate. read more

Poor quality. No refunds even if the vape is broken. Go to dream smokes. They sold me a messed up vape and then tried to offer 10% for a new one that was probably gonna be just as bad. Dude at the front is just snarky and the prices are high. Go to dream smokes for real service read more

UPDATE** They sold me some kind of vintage vape, they do not have the coils for it, and neither does any other vape shop anywhere. Been searching for days. So ridiculous and I pretty much just wasted my money on a vape that I can't use. Pretty shady sellers. Also on my old review I explained how my vape malfunctioned and they replaced the part for me... it probably malfunctioned because its a crappy/old vape. OLD REVIEW**Great selection of nicotine and tobacco products and amazing customer service. I bought a vape from them and it malfunctioned and they replaced the faulty piece for free, and explained to me how to prevent it from malfunctioning again. read more

CAUTION: MANAGER AND STAFF DO NOT WEAR MASKS. People in this store are blowing smoke with no regard to the pandemic. I spoke to a gentleman from their other location who said to come here for my return. I had been given a piece that's integrity was so low that it cracked when being set down. Honestly i knew it was a cheap piece but had no idea it was this bad. On principle of quality alone I'd say go to any reputable store that sells glass over this place. As far as customer service goes... that's a whole new issue on why you should shop elsewhere. When I was explaining the situation the manager (unmasked) was cutting me off saying "CASH OR CARD CASH OR CARD" over and over until he said " I dont return anything once it leaves the store, are you paying cash or card now cash or card" I walked out of the store to limit my exposure to these non masked people with horrible attitudes. Go anywhere else. This place is disgusting. read more

FAKE PRODUCTS & WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I came in to get an E Cigarette ElfBar and I opened it to take a hit and it had absolutely no flavor. I told the worker and he said that is not possible and that he can give me a new one if I pay again. Like.. WHAT? I just purchased a brand new product and opened it up in front of him, it's not my fault the product is not working how it is supposed too. He offered ABSOLUTELY no help and did not even refund me or exchange the product. I do not recommend this smokeshop to anyone, they are a scam. Take your business somewhere else. read more

This is hands down the best smokeshop in glendale area. They have a huge selection of everything from hookah flavors to bongs, the workers are always super kind and helpful and prices are better than any other shop in the area. One of my FAVORITE smoke shops to go too! They have such a wide selection of stuff to choose from, it's hard to decide sometimesthey always get new brands and flavors which is amazing. They even have exotic snacks and drinks you wouldn't find elsewhere! It's my go-to shop for all my vapes ever since I went to their other location on San Fernando. The staff here is so kind and friendly as well. They answer all your questions and make sure you have a good experience. Great selection and an even better staff! 10/10 experience every time! Greatest smoke shop in the Southern California area. They always have everything I want in stock and it all comes in great variety. From exotic snacks, to drinks, to hookah tobacco, to cereals and dabbing accessories, this shop has it all. Not to mention, there is always fire music that is being played for my audible needs, with tv's that play music videos for your personal enjoyment. The shop is covered in white clouds at the top, and those clouds illuminate in different colors of light, mimicking the clouds hence a smoke shop. Very nice shop. I was looking for a smoke shop to buy some puff bars late at night, and the only shop that was open was this one in Glendale area. They close at 1am. I was running late and called the store to ask if they can stay open for couple extra minutes and they did. The guy at the register was nice and professional and helped me out picking some good flavors. They had pretty much all types of disposable vapes and a big variety of flavors. The shop looks really nice with Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree. The vibe was pretty chill and customer service was on point. I will for sure be back for more. Thanks! read more

Employees constantly breathing over your shoulder and watching you like a hawk, while you're shopping. Literally right behind you. And constantly asking 100 times if you need help when you already told them 100 plus times "no thank you". I really don't understand why the employees are so freakin pushy when the customer just wants to shop or look around enjoy the experience. I've tried shopping here numerous times and it's always like this. The culture changed big time. The only person who's really chill is the girl that works there she allows you to shop at your own pace. So I give here credit we need more chill customer service like her. Honestly that used to be the old Get Yok'd chill vibe. Unfortunately, I won't be shopping here anymore. I don't like feeling rushed while I'm shopping and that's all I constantly experience here.

I don't think it's a race thing (although I have had to complain to corporate about the C#+#k on their dumpsters in the front parkinglot. I think it's a spoiled, entitlement thing. I feel like people should be grateful to have a job. Maybe this location is not the best place to shop if you have social anxiety or are sensitive to mean people.

Those are good too but not as good as a handmade one. Pro-tip they have cool kid lunches. Perfect for a field trip. Sprouts also has a self serve nuts/candy/dried fruits sold by the pound. Lots of organic and good for the soul stuff. I am a fan.

The cashier who's name is on the receipt, over charged for red peppers, he had that bought to his attention and he put up an argument rather than verifying the actual signed price, he was a rude ass! and we were right. The kids a punk and it must be tough getting good employees, he rudely pushed my bag in my direction and no apology started ringinging next customer. in that dump I guess he feels immune to scrutiny. He was a rude ass who didn't want to bother seeing he was wrong. His attitude stunk, almost as bad as the fish counter. That boy is gonna screw with the wrong person. It will happen. That store and many of it's employees are spinning down the failed business drain. Never again!

On 1 hand, it's nice to not have to drive 10 miles minimum to get to a smoke shop anymore since Glendale didn't always have em. On the other hand, it's really sad to see such pettiness from a group of young Armenian kids who will take full advantage of anyone who's a bit generous and likes to tip. These sketchy amateurs have no shame in their game when it comes to ripping people off at any given moment by overcharging you. I've now bought the same butane 3 times and all 3 times I paid different amounts for them. God forbid you confront them cause they will literally lie to your face and make you think you're crazy and don't remember. The owner is probably the one that taught these kids how to rob people. Very disappointed is actually a compliment to these crooks cause I honestly think they pride themselves on scraping chump change. Such potential if only they can see the big picture but unfortunately they can't even see 2 hours ahead. I can bet my life that this place has about the same half life as the pandemic and much like the virus, it's clever and deceiving but wasn't well planned as far as consequences go. The people and products at the 818 Smoke Shop are AWESOME! Through out the year, a challenging year to say the least, they have been thoughtful, helpful and always observant of the customers, whom are also delightful folks! I always have a great experience at 818 Smokeshop. Dre is the man! Every time I come in, he takes care of me and makes sure I leave with exactly what I need. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile. The shop is clean, well-stocked, and the prices are solid too.
