Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) What I thought would be a simple 5-hour move ended up taking over 9 hours. While the duration was unexpected, I attribute it to the long walks from my four storage closets to the elevator. Even though the day grew long and the physical toll was evident, the guys stayed honest and worked the entire time. The Good: Only one minor damaged item out of an entire household. Zero damage to the walls/floors of either apartment. The team was incredibly kind, making it impossible to stay frustrated. They offer flexible payment options (Credit Card, Zelle, Cash). Room for Improvement: I would love to see moving companies offer more "flat-rate" structures or do "mid-way time checks."
