Can't wait to go back…read more Zeke has been tattooing my mom for years and I knew that I was going to them when I was ready for mine. They did a fantastic job, I am so pleased. Was such a great vibe in there and the history of this little shop turned national brand is a testament to our little city! Everyone was super nice, I definitely recommend this business. Thank you for this very meaningful tat, I will see you again soon.

If you're ever having any sort of crisis in your life or need to redirect some energy, getting a…read morepiercing is the best distraction in my opinion. A little bit of pain for an instant change to your self and then lasting pain and care while it heals! I should get a hobby. I did a lot of research for different studios around the city. A main concern of mine was the quality of the piercers. I liked that their Instagram did feature the work of their piercers and tagged them so you could check out what they've done in the past. They list their piercing prices on the website and they differ based on placements. I found their prices to be average. Some places were way higher (double in some cases!) across the board, even for simple piercings. I prebooked online and was able to select a time. I had to pay the piercing fee upfront which was $40 for a rook piercing. They clearly explain the fees while booking. On the day of the piercing, they recommend that you eat at least 3 hours before your appointment. They have a lot of reception staff working there. I was kind of surprised! I had to fill out a waiver that had a bit of information on my health history (mostly to do with whether I had an issues with bleeding) and whether needles would impact me. I was taken to the piercing area at the back after that. I checked out the jewelry first. I was never rushed to pick faster which I appreciated. Jewelry isn't cheap! I liked how transparent my piercer was with the costs of jewelry. They had a tablet that was able to quickly pull up prices so I could decide what I was okay with. Some of these pieces were several hundred dollars so it was good to know before checkout. All in all my total price tag was around $350 and if you worked out the earlier math from before you can see how much some of the jewlery cost! It is definitely a little pricey but expected. They carry great brands like BVLA and Junipurr so it's not unexpected. One thing I was a little disappointed about was that they didn't carry much in rose gold, only white and yellow gold. They carry some piercing aftercare there like the Neilmed rinses which are a little expensive at $22 a bottle but convenient since you can get it during your appointment.

The shop itself is pretty small so there wasn't much privacy. The piercing was done right next to a girl getting a tattoo and shoppers were able to walk by and watch my sister get pierced. You can't really complain because the shops at Pacific Mall are made of glass walls. The procedure itself was pretty standard. She chose her jewellery, got marked and then got pierced. Everything was very clean and sterile, so no complaints! We were then instructed on how to clean the piercing. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and was $60.

GRAPHIC WARNING!!!…read more First things first, would have given them 0 stars if I could. Also writing this review like a month after it happened so it's not just an angry review based on emotions plus I also have 6 other ear piercing done at different places and never had an infection before. So I went to get my piercing done on Nov 24 (Sunday) and it was my first time at Warrior Inks. I went to get my second helix and conch pierced and I was done by the lady. Everything went fine at first. (So I followed the aftercare instruction from the APP website instead of the aftercare given since it said to clean with alcohol but on the APP website it says to not use any alcohol, and I continued this during from the time of piercing and continuing now still.) The first 2 days after were completely fine. No redness, swelling, pain, heat or pus coming from either piercing sites. But the 3rd day after my conch swelled up and was a little warm and slightly red but it didn't really hurt nor was there pus coming from it, so I though it was just delayed swelling from the piercing and didn't think much about it. On the 4th day after, my conch piercing continued to swell up, was even more red, slightly more pain and still only slightly warm, no pus, bit of blood, but the swelling was almost the size of the whole post (the picture attached doesn't show much room left but after cleaning off the blood there was still little bit of room left). On the 5th day after (Friday), my ear was really not looking good. Swelling increased to the whole post, much more red, painful and heat but no blood and still no pus. So I went back to the Warrior Ink thinking they might need to change the post and possibly there's a concern for infection but when I went, during their opening hours and waited like 20-30 mins, the store was closed. So I went to another piercing shop to have it looked at and the piercer said that the post was WAY TO SHORT and that it SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN USED FOR THIS CONCH PIERCING and it HAD to come out and he would not be able to put another post in because my ear was so swollen/angry. He eventually had to SNAP IT OFF because he couldn't remove it by unscrewing it and it hurt like HELL, and I have a pretty decently high pain tolerance. I asked the piercer if I should go to the doctor to get it check out because I was worried it could be infected but he said it should have been find since the post was out the pressure should be relieved and it should be fine. Though after cleaning it that night I noticed pus starting to leak out of the site where the conch piercing was removed So the next day (Saturday) I went to the doctor the first thing in the morning and he said it was DEFINITELY infected and gave me antibiotic and antibiotic ointment. (The picture attached is how angry my ear looked even after like a dose or two of antibiotics). On Sunday morning my ear started to look slightly better. Swelling reduced a bit, slightly less red and less pain, about the same amount of heat, no blood but still leaking pus. Though at about evening time I noticed that my ear had swelled up a lot more and it started to really CURL to the point where the top of the ear almost met the lobe! Had to go the the ER to get it check out (which just so happened to be the day it had freezing rain so it was a long drive there). The ER doctor ended up putting me on 2 different antibiotics and 2 painkillers. After a few days of being on antibiotics and painkillers my ear finally started looking almost like how my ear normally looks but the swelling, redness, and heat continued for almost the whole 10 day course of antibiotics. Pus stopped leaking after like 3-4 days on antibiotics. Very lucky that there was no abscess that would require draining. Overall HIGH DO NOT RECOMMEND (at least from a piercing stand-point). Hopefully someone finds this review helpful and would reconsider before coming to this store.

I felt comfortable in having made the right decision to choose Still Water for my tattoo; everyone involved was accommodating, welcoming, and well-informed. Sydnie was fantastic - she walked me through the steps, helped in choosing the right size & placement of the tattoo, and tattooed a very beautiful and special piece of art that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Still Water Tattoo for anyone seeking some work done!

I wanted to connect and expand my tattoos to be more in balance and even. Effectively, I was looking for half/quarter sleeves. Christine looked at my tattoos and then gave me her vision and plan. I loved her ideas and we went forward with some time in the chair. Tattoos can be very painful, but Christine has a soft touch with a machine that effectively stabs you to put in ink. The atmosphere is so relaxed and private. Since the half/quarter sleeves, I've been back twice more to have my children's names tattooed across my chest. The most recent being this past Wednesday and my first time in her new shop. The new location is amazing, relaxing and has a such a cool vibe. We are now working on putting together a back piece. I don't usually ever give reviews, but her expertise, talent, and demeanor are what tattooing should be about. I highly recommend the experience and Christine as a professional laid back artist. Because that is what she is, she's a talented artist that uses the human body as her canvas.

I wanted to get my second tattoo and was not planning on going to pacific mall for it because I only knew about Chronic Ink Tattoos. The staff there honestly looked very mean and was just money-hungry. The second tattoo I wanted to get was a big piece. I needed a good artist for sure. Luckily I went to the second floor and happened to come across the little phat buddha shop (This was their first one in p-mall). I spoke with Marvin and he was so welcoming, genuine and down to earth. I wasn't sure about doing it here, but he still gave me some points on what to ask tattoo artists, etc. He drew my piece out first and anything I wanted to add/take away before we started was easily done by him. I took a long time of emailing back and forth to agree on the final tattoo, but Marvin was patient and kind. He never rushed or sounded annoyed or anything! Ever since then, I have only recommended Marvin to all my family/friend/strangers. Go here! You won't regret it. :)

We went for my daughter's ear piercing. We were helped by Jai (The Piercing Goddess!). Jai was very competent, sympathetic, and supportive. How it works: the piercing itself is free, but you gotta buy a minimum of CAD100 in jewelry. After shopping around online, I realized this price is pretty standard these days. I don't really want my daughter to get more piercings, but if she does, I'll be totally comfortable going back to The Piercing Place!

I had sent them the image ahead of time with another image for an idea of shading. We talked to Bahador & made an appointment for the actual tattoo session for both of us. The day of the session we waited a bit as Bahador was with another client & finishing up. We showed him the images again & decided on the size & placement of the tattoo on each of us. Hubby went first & I waited on the couch nearby. It took about 1.5 hours for his session. Then I was next. Hubby had his tattoo placed on his forearm & I had mine placed on my left shoulder. Bahador was professional & nice. I kind of wondered if he was bored because our design was really simple. But we picked him because we really liked his other work that we saw on instagram. I think if I get another tattoo that is more elaborate I would like him to do it. He's very talented. The receptionist Talin (spelling) was really nice also. Her personality is friendly & bubbly. She offered us a drink while we waited. I opted for a simple bottle of water. There is a single washroom on the main floor for customers. There is also a lower level where some other artists work but we didn't go there so I'm not sure what it looks like. The main floor though is very brightly lit. The floors are white tiles. And the walls are white also. The tattoo chairs are black with silver hardware. Everything is very clean. Anyway, we were very satisfied with our matching tattoos. We also think the price was reasonable. I would come back here if I ever get another tattoo. Hubby has been here before & so has my SIL.

DO NOT COME HERE. This place should be shut down…read more I had to temporarily replace my tragus earring with an acrylic spacer for an MRI test (got this done at Adrenaline Tattoo's on Queen Street - amazing place). Decided to get my original earring put back in at 'Depression Ink' since it was a lot closer to home, and since it was a low risk procedure didn't think it would make a huge difference where I went (simply putting in an earring - note: I could not do it on my own since it is small and I cannot see the inside of my ear to screw it in.) I called beforehand and the owner said that it would be no problem. I went in, showed him the original earring, and his apprentice proceeded to take out the spacer (I was fine with this - again, low-risk procedure). Then when it was time to put the earring in the owner said he could not, it was too small - even though it was the earring I have had in my tragus for over ten years. Even though he told me on the phone no problem. Even though he saw the earring when I came into the shop - before starting anything - and said again, no problem. Irritated at this point, I said to put the spacer back in and I would go elsewhere. He said he could not (???). He would need to put a brand new earring in (one with a longer bar so that he could grasp it with his hands and screw it in)...andddd I would have to buy it from him (scammer). I agreed so that I could just get this over with and get out of there, lay down for him to put in the new earring, and suddenly felt horrible pain. I screamed out and asked what he was doing?! HE WAS STICKING A NEEDLE THROUGH MY EAR. Without ANY CONSENT on my part, he attempted to RE-PIERCE my tragus (the hole was already there and perfectly fine - I had it pierced 15 years ago!) to put the earring in (wtf).. He did this 1) Without asking or telling me first and without any consent on my part, 2) Without any proper sterilization techniques 3) Without showing me where that needle came from (I have no clue if it came from a sealed package or not). Disgusting. Why in hell would you re-pierce a hole that already exists and that was perfectly healed???! At the end of it all he was able to put the new earring in by hand and just screwed it closed - like he should have done in the first place. And three days later I am left with a horrible infection in my ear that has required medical attention, and a lost piercing hole that was healthily healed for over 15 years. This man should not own a business not should his establishment be shut down. DO NOT COME HERE. Save yourself from a completely unprepared, unknowledgeable shop owner who has no concern for health and safety - something CRUCIAL in the tattoo and piercing business. I went to simply change an earring. I left with a serious infection. Unbelievable.
