I was referred to Dr. Kim by a friend. He had chronic pain and had tried many things to address it since he didnt have a specific injury he couldn't figure out what was causing it. He got treated by Dr. Kim and found out that what he was eating was the cause of his pain. He was eating the wrong foods for his constitution. I was intrigued. I made an appointment for my husband and I. I have sensitivity to many things from foods to chemicals, to the environment, to scents ect. I also had gnarly painful periods and had anxiety constantly. My husband was always hurting in different places. Sometimes it was his back, his foot, his neck or his elbows, there was always something that was causing him pain. He also had really bad acid reflux. He ate dark leafy greens, fish, took vitamins and supplements, even drank wheat grass every morning trying to heal his body. I was on a high protein diet, I knew I was sensitive to dairy and gluten so I would limit those but loved sweet potatoes, tumeric, ginger, onions and garlic with everything.
I learned that everything I was craving and ate was bad for me. Likewise for my husband. We switched diests according to our constitutions and wow. My husband's pain went away, his heart burn and refkux went away, his skin got clear. For me, my cycles became less painful and my digestive system felt peace for the first time in years. I started noticing that my mental health had not been affecting me as much. I was so surprised that I kept testing my body. The moment I would eat meat I would feel agro and snippy, like I was turning into the hulk, followed by anxious feelings. It was weird but true. I kept testing it b/c I couldn't make sense of it. I have been off anxiety meds and supplements for a year now. Since both of us had great results we have since brought in our family and refered many friends. My dad was able to lower his A1C and got off 4 meds. We have so many testimonials. We are so blessed to have Dr. Kim as our Healthcare provider, and blessed to have her guide us. Hope this helps you! read more
