Just today, I was told by another garage that I needed to replace the same axle that you guys replaced. You have really done yourselves bad. My wife and I were driving to Moline from Dixon for a medical appointment and had a flat tire on…read moreInterstate 88 about 35 miles from our destination. We had to replace the flat tire with the 'donut'. We continued to the Quad Cities and stopped at Hughes Tire to attempt to have the tire repaired . We talked to Chuck and he was most helpful and friendly. He suggested we leave the tire and come back after the appointment. We did. He called us later to let us know that the tire was not repairable as the sidewall had been seriously damaged. Unfortunately they did not have the tire we needed in stock and could not get it until the next day. We decided to drive home on the back roads, as suggested by Chuck, on the 'donut'. When we arrived to pick up our damaged tire we were met by another employee who loaded the tire for us and volunteered to have the pressure checked and adjusted in all the tires for us. A third employee offered to check the torque on the lug nuts of the 'donut' which was good as a couple needed tightening. All three employees went out of their way to help us and make sure we felt we were safe on our trip home. They were all friendly and very accommodating. And for their service there was no charge. Their kindness and attention to us was refreshing and very appreciated. To those who live in the Quad Cities area I very highly recommend Hughes Tire for your tire needs. Thank you Chuck and all.
