I have been using this facility for at least 5 years. It has a a very nice 50 meter pool for lap…read moreswimming. When that is too busy or I have my kids with me, I use the 25 meter/yard therapy pool. At the time of this review, I have been paying for 3 visits at a time-- am not paying for the year. This is first and foremost a pool for lap swimming and swimming lessons. The gym is secondary and small. The playground is open to everyone but still managed by Greenville County. The last time I was there, one slide was broken/taped off. The schedule for use of the two pools is posted every week online. If you don't check that schedule, you may arrive to find the facility having a swim meet or closed. Over the years, the schedule has improved in its readability. Remember that if lightning is in the area, they have a (45 minute?) pause on swimming. That could close the facility early. They occasionally have a new person working the front but the facility is usually managed very well. For a person new to the community, just ask for help-- its a big facility.

There is absolutely zero organization or communication among the staff. When you check in there is…read morezero mention of any amenities, no one asked if we needed a walker, nobody told us where to go to check in for skates, nobody told us about the bounce house; ZERO communication. Slapped a bracelet on our hands and yelled NEXT! Spoke to Will after finding out from another patron that you have to go request a walker, Will is entirely incompetent, rude, and apathetic to guests. I asked for a walker, he told me to go to the next line. I get to the next line, wait for my turn, and they said they have no walkers. ZERO communication. Nobody knows what's going on. I voiced my frustration with the complete lack of communication, and the employee named Will literally said, "sorry, not my problem. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will turn in their walker early." So a few minutes later I checked back in the first line that I was originally told to go to for a walker; there was one left. Was told by the young guy there (didn't get his name) to go to the second line to pay.... I wait my turn, get to the front of the line, Walker was gone. Repeat 2 more times. Finally I talked to Alicia, who unbelievably enough was a manager. Told her about the 20 minute runaround I experienced with her employees. She smirked and said, sorry there's nothing I can do. I said are you the manager? She said yes I'm one of the managers. I said well you can train your employees better to start. She smirked again and said, "I have no power here, sorry." I said, you just said you're a manager? She said I am one of them. I said, what is your name? She laughed and said, "Alicia. And you can write whatever you want about me; I do not care. This isn't even my main job." I said I would like a refund, we are leaving. She said do you have your receipt? I said, my husband threw it away. She shrugged and said, "sorry. Nothing I can do if you don't have your receipt." And sat there smirking at me. UNBELIEVABLY HORRID customer service!!! Will needs to be trained, and Alicia needs to be fired.

No one else was there and I wasn't even sure exactly where to park (nearly got stuck in the gravel trying to back out). There are a couple of basketball hoops, which may entertain older kids a bit longer. There is a bench to sit on and a trash can. No restroom facilities, so go before you come! Happy yelping!

Nights of lights - Not worth the money!!…read more Overall the event was very disappointing. Most of the "light displays" were just figurines with lights on them, nothing seemed arranged with any sense of order or design. "Based on the website and the news promotions, I truly thought I'd be walking into a magical wonderland of lights. It definitely didn't live up to that expectation." Almost everything required a separate payment, except for the petting zoo, but the animals were far too large for the small space they were kept in. The whole setup felt disorganized and confusing. There were plenty of inflatables, which might suit very young children who don't need much to keep entertained, but overall the experience didn't feel thoughtfully put together. I wouldn't return.
