On my way home on Sun, the last bar on my gas gauge was flashing. I wasn't scared or anything. I assumed I had maybe 30-40 miles left on it. But I didn't want to take a chance so I pulled into the first gas station I saw right after driving up and through the Cajon Pass and reaching Oak Hills. Chevron was it! I'm not a big fan of Chevron due to its higher gas prices compared to other gas brands, but it was my savior at the moment LOL. Don't say you'll never pump at so and so cuz they may come in handy when push comes to shove LOL. Of course it was $5+ per gallon for 87 octane regular. I only pumped 1.5 gallons just enough to get the bar blinking status on gas gauge out of my view LOL. I ended up heading over to Wal-Mart gas afterwards and pumped the rest for $4.49+ per gallon. Big difference, huh! Unfortunately, knocking off 1 star just for the price. Anyway, Chevron did come through and saved the day! Thank you for your presence when I needed you most. Happy Chevron'ing! Lesson learned... pump gas down the hill before heading up the hill... at least have half a tank.

No "thank you", "You're Welcome", or "Have a nice day". Just so you know, it is proper to exchange pleasantries. When a customer says thank you, you should respond. The guy says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I immediately felt unwelcome. I find him disrespectful, and friggin' weird. Anyhow, I need a liquor store that gives off good vibes when buying lotto tickets, so I won't be buying here anymore. Funny how you can have a little store like this around the corner from you but you never stop here, because the employees are rude. It makes customers feel uncomfortable enough to just avoid the place. I'll continue to drive by.

KKC happens to be inside the Circle K food mart. Gas station was not lit for some reason so it was dark when driving into the parking lot. Anyway, we walked in and saw a very small KKC heating bin... almost like a stand. I was surprised that it wasn't bigger like a full operating restaurant. Anyhoo, we still ordered our chicken boxes... chicken was really tiny in size. The lady doubled up on the drumstick to make it one piece LOL. That worked for us. Thank you! The overall Circle K store appeared tight for some reason. Maybe they have too many shelves squished together. Also the lighting inside wasn't that bright compared to their neighbor, Extramiles, across the street. Hopefully, they have resolved their outside lighting issue and perhaps that light energy will trickle to the inside. Will we back to this KKC? Maybe not. We'll try their full service restaurant next time around. But will we be back to this Circle K? Maybe... depends on what we need when we're in the area. Happy Circle K'ing! P.S. Thank you for the provided facilities! Extramiles is a great food mart with a welcoming atmosphere, great staff, and a good selection of food, snacks, and drinks. Very bright, clean, and organized. They even have a Thrifty ice cream station and a Mile One coffee station. I love Thrifty ice cream. I normally get them from Rite Aid, but now that I know Extramiles have them, I'll be getting them here. And I did buy three of my favorite flavors just today... Pineapple Coconut, Butter Pecan, and Black Cherry... I'll get Pistachio next time. How great is that! If you like Fatburgers and/or Chronic Tacos, they are here within Extramiles. I pumped half the tank just to get home safely. I was planning to pump the other half tank at Walmart Gas which I did the next day later. I paid at the pump as usual. I didn't go inside the food mart though. Btw, this gas station is right next to McDonald's which is convenient to grab a quick bite afterwards or prior to pumping gas. There is a little restaurant that sells Mexican food which wasn't busy @ all. There was an area that had liquor for sale, then the small store in between both of that stuff. The gas pumps outside had a little video playing but they were all muffled so I have no idea what it was saying. This is located off a very busy street since it's right off the highway so be careful when entering & exiting.

They know this and have a HUGE gas station that can move 6 cars at a time on every line. You will also see trucks filling up the underground tanks here many times during the day so don't worry about getting stale gasoline that has been sitting around for months like some other stations. After gas, if you are hungry--get a hot dog or pizza inside. After gas if you need the BR--go inside.
