Warning: Don't send prescriptions here unless it's your last option. I've been trying for a week to get my medication refilled and it's been nothing but errors. They forgot to order it twice, and when I came to pick it up, they admitted their system had flagged an issue but never called me. The part that really stings is the staff's attitude. When I asked for help or alternatives, they seemed indifferent--like it wasn't their problem that I was out of a critical medication. With something this important, you need a pharmacy team that cares and acts with urgency. There aren't many pharmacies left on the mountain. So this pharmacy has long lines which suck for everyone. I arrived 30 minutes before their 1:30 lunch break and waited with about 15 others. For the majority of the time there was 1 person checking people out. The second girl came 15 minutes before their pharmacy wide lunch break, with a bag of Togo food.... Which is frustrating because most of the people in line weren't able to even pick up their prescriptions before they closed, but hey the employees have their food. When it was my turn, there was some obvious drama between what would be the pharmacist and the pharmacy manager. The manager just kept yelling "don't talk to me, don't talk to me, I'm not talking to you"over and over at the pharmacist Sucks this is really our only pharmacy. I wish we had a better CVS here in Lake arrowhead since we are isolated. They are usually out of any new prescription and they only have a single window to pick up. I already waited in line for them to tell me it's not ready. I wait 1/2 hour more even though they said only 15 more minutes. Then there is a huge line I have to wait in again. Ughhh. Friendly, helpful people. This is the most stocked drug store I've seen in a long time.

I use to love this location. In the past month it has gone swiftly downhill. They have cancelled prescriptions "accidentally." I have been trying to fill another since September 29th. When I went in to ask about it, because no one would call me back, they told me they had gotten the medication in but gave it to other customers that came in before me. The medication they ordered for me? After refusing to order it for a week because they were trying to fill an outdated prescription. I had called three times to tell them they were filling the wrong one. I asked to transfer it to another pharmacy that had told me they had it in stock. They never did. So, I contacted the other pharmacy personally. After doing so, my prescriptions that were scheduled to fill the next day suddenly said they were cancelled. I messaged asking why. They claimed it was never cancelled but they needed a new prescription from my provider. I had 6 refills left on one and 3 on another. I moved those prescriptions, too. Today, I called the new pharmacy and was told that their system said the prescriptions were not covered. They are. But someone had put in that they were not. I called my insurance and a nice woman told me that no one had attempted to refill either of those prescriptions. They then called the pharmacy for me to make them refill them. I had one pill left of one of them. Unlike the prescription that was two weeks late, that just makes me very nauseous, this one can kill me if I don't take it. The last time there was a pharmacy mistake I ended up in the hospital after two days of missing it. I don't know if it is malicious or incompetent. But this pharmacy actively risked my health. read more

I was resistant to getting the app and using it, but it's worth it! LET THEM HELP YOU- it's kind of their thing. I was hoping for one coupon, but I'm glad I let the girl working there show me how to scan the item to find all the coupons that applied, and I got L'Oreal $36 cream for $11! I was pretty shocked. The employees are really good at maximizing discounts in that store. This location does a really good job with hiring and training friendly employees. I hope they're paying them well, they deserve it. read more

First of all.... The Extra Care thing.... AMAZING. I save SOOO MUCH. But seriously, as soon as I walk in, I start looking for Angi! Why is she so SPECTACULAR? I literally love this woman, she loves her job and it shows!!!! She's so helpful, so capable and I mean it, if I have any issue (bringing the app up on my phone, getting my coupons, finding a product) this angel steps in and like magic, everything works out just right! Don't waste your time having scripts sent here, the Pharmacy keeps completely different hours to the store, what they are is anyones guess because they don't post them. Expect it to be arbitrarily closed at their convenience, not yours. read more

horrible experience, I went to get a vaccination today and I've had a lot of vaccinations in my life and I was also in the medical field, the pharmacist is young and inexperienced when it comes vaccinations, I'm in a lot of pain because he went all the way through my muscle meaning he put the whole entire needle in my arm, which was unnecessary. It's only been a couple hours since I've been there and I can't even move my arm, please train your people correctly please I will never go back read more

Came in for allergy medicine, eye drops, and some gifts. Found the gifts, no problem, allergy medicine easy as well. Eye drops were stocked in 2 different areas. While reviewing the small selection, I audibley mentioned to my wife, they don't have a specific tilype I need. The nice staff lady stocking shelves heard me and pointed me to a huge area of eye drops. There they were, what I needed. We thanked her, and she wished us an amazing day. Is it the air up here? Everyone in this store is so nice. We did self checkout, and once completed, we were thank and wished another great day. Parking is hit, and miss, it depends on the time of day and events happening. read more

the pharmacy here at cvs that stands for "Consistently Very Slow' I don't understand when you have a prescription that has two items that need to be filled. they always have one filled and the other one will be done about 25 min why? my doctor called it in and I went home for about hour and half. so when I got there and stood in that long long line It's always long!! and when I finally got to the register and by the way they have two registers but only use one. The only time they had both open is when they are about to close. Anyway, back to my prescription there was two items' they only had one filled again WHY!!! they can't fill both at the same time? they always do this so 15 to 25 min it should be filled. So, let's do the math will say about 20 min to wait then another 15 to 25 min to stand in line again. one time I just went to the back of the line and when i got to the register it still was not filled. I really miss Walgreen's I hate C V S. the only reason I gave them one star is because they are open past 5 and they are open on the weekends not like the other crappy one at the Hospital. MAN I REALLY MISS WALGREEN'S. read more

So I'm theory it's supposed to be an easy thing to pick up prescription that was prescribed from the hospital. Goldie and her coworker went above and beyond to get my prescription from the mountain hospital she waited on hold and called multiple times for over 45 mins! So much gratitude to these pharmacists. Went in for a couple of things and found many great products I've never seen at another cvs location. Angie was so helpful and fun to talk to! She was amazingly helpful and walked us around the store until we found what we were looking for. She was also very knowledgeable on their membership program and helped us save some money! CVS in Lake Arrowhead, CA was a horrible experience! They filled all my prescriptions and my mothers at different times. When I called to ask when my prescription would be ready, the girl got so frustrated with me that she hung up on me. I changed over to Rite Aid in Blue Jay and they had all our medication ready in an hour! Rite Aid continues to fill our meds on the same day with no problem and their people are so nice. CVS needs better training. read more

This is the best CVS I've ever been to! Every employee we've interacted with has been genuinely helpful, kind, and down to earth, and that's saying a lot because we go to them frequently so my gf can use the 18 coupons she receives with each purchase. The store just has a good vibe! read more
