The "works wash" (has a new name) is now $18 and they offer you towels to wipe down your own car at the end. I paid for it thinking it would be better than before, nope! It's not as good and now there isn't the guy out there to tip that used to wipe down the car for you. Wayyyy more expensive for way less. No thanks! read more

Some guy started giving me shit for using the complimentary vacuum after I filled my tank before my car wash. Get a life. What a total turn off I can't recommend this car wash to my friends or family. Some of the workers need to be better aware of how they present themselves to customers. read more

I've used this gas station a couple of times for their quick car wash as well as their vacuums. The car wash is a stay in the car drive thru. Does a decent job for around $8-10 depending on the options chosen. What's nice about this location is they have an attendant wiping down the excess water after the blow dryer upon exitIng the wash. Most places will either have you drive away of finish drying your car yourself. A couple extra dollars for the attendant and you're off. The vacuums are around the right side of the building and are super strong, so be careful. Only takes quarters, but only $1. Most places in the area charge more. Thankful these are available 24/7! Located nearby the La Costa Tesla Supercharger. So I suggest going here first for a soap and rinse. I remember it to be 8-9 USD. Something very inexpensive. Then drive to the Supercharger and dry and wax your car. Alternatively, there is a guy outside that will dry your car for you. He is always friendly and efficient. I was getting off work late tonight and I needed to fuel up. Luckily, this 76 was fairly close to I decided to go here. The business is open 24/7 and so are the restrooms. The place is very clean and has a wide selection of snacks. As far as drinks go, they mostly only have Gatorade and energy drinks, and some vitamin waters, and they're fairly expensive compared to other gas stations. The Gatorade's were 2 for $5.50. The cashier was very sweet, she gave me the key to the restroom no problem and I'm impressed to say the restroom was very clean. I probably wouldn't fuel up here regularly though considering that gas is $4.99 and up, considering if you get the cheapest option, but if you're looking for a clean, professional gas station with restrooms open at all hours, this is where to go! They also have a f'freal milkshake machine. I really do love these milkshakes and it's hard to find a gas station with one of these machines that work. They are just regular milkshakes that you can pick your flavor and blend to your liking. The chocolate is my favorite. read more

$3.69 for premium and climbing!! Clean gas station right off of El Camino Real and in the same parking lot as Albertsons and Starbucks. There is an automatic car wash on premise that actually does a pretty good job if you want a quick wash. Overall, a decent gas station that is conveniently located and well lit during evening hours. Can get busy since it's right off the main road but I've never had to wait long for a pump. read more

I usually don't get gas here - it's seems a bit expensive to me. But the Circle K store is wonderful! There's this new Shake machine where you can choose a flavor, put it into a machine, choose the thickness and voila, you have a frozen shake! It's $2.99. Really cool! Plus, the drink station is huge. I would have to say this gas station is my favorite in Carlsbad. The employees are so incredibly friendly and all go out of there way to say hello as I walk in the door and ask how my day has been at check out. Their gas prices are also relatively competitive for El Camino in Carlsbad. As for the people complaining about the car wash, you can't expect much from a touchless car wash. If you're really only willing to spend 8 dollars then I would suggest purchasing some supplies and doing it yourself. A touchless car was is meant to be less invasive, it's meant to spray off a light layer of dust and grime. If you're expecting the machine to magically detail your car spot free then you're most definitely out of luck. If you want your car to look good then I would spend $150 at a good detail shop and then use the touchless to maintain your freshly detailed car. As for the wait, there's literally a sign as you drive in that says "20 min wait from this point" if the line is too long then leave, your voucher is good for several weeks, if you want the car wash to yourself go in the morning and not the afternoon or on a week day. read more

*This review is for the Circle K only* I stop in here most mornings to grab either a Rockstar Recovery or a Monster Rehab, which ever is on sale 2 for $3, before heading off to work. The staff is always very friendly, and super efficient. They usually man two registers at once to speed through everyone grabbing their caffine or nicotine (if you're into that kind of thing...) fix in for the morning. Great spot to stop. read more

I go to this gas station all the time it's a mile from my house and today I went and my car battery died when I was vacuuming my car. I went in to just asked to cables to jump start my car and the owner was quick to offer his aaa membership because I had used my 4 calls of the year. Then the aaa guy comes and jump starts my car says I need a new battery and the owner then tells him to put one in my car and come inside and he will pay him after. I seriously couldn't believe. So tired from studying for finals and am broke because I've barely been able to work. He then gives me a free car wash as well. I am so grateful there are good people in this world. After reading other reviews and hesitating to go I thought I need to make a review on this car wash after having my first experience. There is a wash attendant (1 person) which may slow things down compared to another car wash. BUT my wash time from start to finish was only 20 minutes. There were 2-3 vehicles ahead of me. I do not think it is usually less than that unless there are no cars ahead even at other washes. It is surprising to see other peoples reviews claiming how horrible the wait time is??? Sometimes these places take time! After the attendant wiped off my car a gratefully gave him a tip. Well worth the price and the time for the results. My advice is give yourself enough time if you go to any car wash because in my honest opinion 20-30 minutes seems reasonable. I would go here again in the future. read more

Really bad car wash. I was wondering why they had an attendant at an automatic car wash. So the attendant walks in when you're driving in to help you align your car because for some reason that's a problem here. I go to other no touch car washes that don't have this problem. Unlike other no touch car wash is there's no under spray and I wonder if they removed that so they can have the attendant walk in. The air does not seem to work very well. I did what I would normally do at one of these where you pace driving out and realized there was no air blowing on my car. Again I suspect they reduced or eliminated some of the air to allow the guy to walk through the door way. I was wondering why he wasn't getting blown away walking through the blowers. So for $10 you can get a two dollar car wash. If you care about your car and your sanity, go somewhere else. Oh. Also you have to call them to get your code. The code does not print on the receipt. Apparently rather than fix their system they put their phone number up there and you need to reach your pump number and then the amount and that they look it up and that they give you the code. This is because the bottom of the receipt prince and some weird tiny font and scrape off the end of the receipt. I don't have any appropriate closet with me to drive my car off so I guess I'll just get water spots. read more

I would give this a zero star if possibles. For $8 I got a matching to spray water on my car for 40'seconds. There was a guy at the exit, but I guess he decided to take a break when I was in the wash. I dried my car with all of the crap still on it.
