This is a great stop right off the I-5 freeway to grab some coffee or refuel before beginning your journey north, or completing the drive down to southern CA. Went there before my job started, bought coffee and some snacks. I was sitting in my car drinking my coffee and eating when the attendant came outside and told me to leave. He pointed to a no loitering sign. By definition "loitering- stand or wait around idly or without apparent purpose." I had spent money, was sitting in my car sipping my hot coffee before I got on the road, and told to leave. Some people are just mad they have to work. read more

Stopped for gasoline. Pulled up to a pump and got out. Pump out of order. Same at three more pumps. Tried one more pump- this one didn't have anything showing it didn't work, it just wasn't light up at all. This place is the worst. They do not value their customers at all. Put over $50 in GAS went in to buy a few items and fill my cup with Ice for the drink I purchased FROM them. I noticed it was more expensive then it should be and asked why. The lady RUDELY states WE charge for ice. Unfortunately I had already poured my drink into my cup or I would have dumped the ice and walked out. I put gas here 3 to 4 times a week and have been for years. I drive for a living and try to keepa routine and now I will add a different station to my route. We always stop here for gas and snacks, NOT to use the restroom!! Easy on and off of the freeway and right next door to the Wendy's where I usually use the restroom. Gas pumps are usually clean and they are huge so I don't feel like I'm ever going to drive into cars or people (I'm not the best driver). Stopped in to the Unocal to buy some overpriced junk from their store. I needed air in my tires as well and asked the clerk to turn on the air pump. She said I had to pay. I told her it was state law that they provided air for free with purchase. She said it had to be a gas purchase to get free air. So, the pile of overpriced junk food does not qualify? I guess if you follow the letter of the law it does not. She is right. But from a customer service standpoint this is very poor. Besides, their gas has always been way overpriced. I used to stop in here for convenience items. I will no longer. I went down the road to the new Chevron station where they were happy to provide me with free air. read more

I tend to be very thrifty when it comes to buying my gas. I don't really have a brand loyalty. I will buy gas wherever it is cheapest, which very often means going to ARCO and avoiding the other major brands. Well, now I'm going to be filling up my tank at more 76 stations. I noticed this afternoon that this station was only $.02 more per gallon than the Arco on the other side of the freeway. And this 76 station has faster access both off and on the I-5 Freeway. There is a Circle K as a part of this station, so you can pick up any drinks or munchies you need, while you fill up your tank, then get back on the freeway quickly. Kudos 76. I'm going to be checking out your 76 siblings to see if all the locations are this price conscious or if it's just you. Either way you make my list of easy pit stops on the I-5. read more

Ice Nazi, her name is Iveth! 108 degrees today Sat Aug 15 @3pm. Pump didn't take my credit card. Went inside. Paid $60 for gas. Went back outside to pump gas. Gas pump did not work. A gentleman from 76 came came to assist. Pump 12 did not work. Went to pump 11. While gas was pumping. Saw a sign on window .89 for soda fountain drink. I had my own cup and went inside to just get ice. ICE NAZI, so called manager, IVETH said no ice. We charge .75 for ice. I explained your credit and pump on station 12 didn't work. I had to move my car to 11, I've been inside this building 3 times and I can't ice? No Ice! read more

Beware!!! We used a credit card to buy gas and were alerted the following day that our credit card was hacked for $1,100.00.

This gas station is perfectly situated to be an easy in & out. Here's how it works: 1. Pull up to a pump. Get out and read the tiny handwritten note that says, "This pump is broken." 2. Pull up to a second pump. Get out and see another note. (Fun! It's like a scavenger hunt.) "This pump takes only cash." Translation - you have to go inside and pay. And strangely their Circle K is like four times farther than every other "convenience" store. 3. Pull up to a third pump. (Third pumps the charm?) Start to pump. Five minutes go by. Look to see it has only pumped $2 worth of gas and at this rate you'd be here for another 2-1/2 hours. Doh! Perfectly situated to be an easy in & out. Unfortunately, it's anything but. read more

BEWARE!! I used my credit card at this station (after my debit card was declined for zip code being invalid) on my way out of town. 10 days later my bank alerts me of fraudulent use at this same station. I live almost 2 hours away so I know I didn't use it. They used the exact 2 cards I used that day. They were able to use the first card for over $96 but the 2nd they caught before they were able to. read more

Right next door to a Wendy's, and it's part of circle k. I didn't go inside the food mart, but from the outside it looks clean and modern. They have an average amount of gas pumps, but they were filling them up with a gas truck, so half of them were blocked tonight. The gas prices were high, like most in Santa Clarita, but since my empty light was on, I had no choice. And it's right by the 5 freeway on ramp, so they can get ten cents more than other stations that are further away from the freeway. The keypad was a little slow in recognizing my input, so you have to push hard and slow. read more

This 76 gas station is great. It's right off the 5 freeway. The gas prices are priced well, especially if you pay in cash. It's ten cents cheaper to buy gas if you use cash. There is a Circle K at the gas station. Buying drinks and snacks is great. The staff is also very friendly. I also use the digital air pump to inflate my tires about once a month. The air pump is easy to use and accurate. :) read more

I stopped here to fill up on gas and get some snacks since I'm driving to Northern Cal. I wanted Tea I asked the woman cashier how the tea was sold by bag or cup size since there was no sign. She told me it was by the cup. Great, got a 24 oz cup with a few tea bags. 1 tea bag to 8-12 oz of water is typical. Took the tea and other items to the register. I had more than one tea string hanging out of the cup the male cashier told me I had to pay per tea bag. I explained I checked with the other cashier prior to making it and it was sold by cup just like the coffee. He told me this tea was stronger so I didn't need more than one tea bag per cup (glad he knows what my taste preferences are)! I explained I was not paying for more than what I was told especially since there is NO SIGN stating such. He said fine. Took my tea & other items off the counter and said "By you can leave"! I said I wanted the other items to which he replied "if I'm not paying for the drink then, no"! This is my FIRST and LAST time at this station! I went to the woman cashier and asked if I can buy my other items, he told her no! She told me sorry, he was the supervisor. That SUPERVISOR lost his company a sale! Instead of telling me next time you have to pay per teabag or letting me buy the other items, him being rude and having the upper hand was more important! I hope the owner is happy with his choice of not just employees but MANAGEMENT STAFF! Maybe he should have been taught CUSTOMER SERVICE by his cashier! I've never had this problem at 7-11, AM/PM, Chevron, etc. Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea leaf nor any other tea house I've been to has charged me extra for additional tea when buying the larger size! Just came in they were out of 87 octane because Yasmin failed to tell all 5 ppl at pumps they were out and we pumped $2.00 of whatever came out of the 87 We hope it was gas ! She issues a supposed refund recharges me now Im showing $60.00 in bank charges for $30 in gas. She says no worries it will show as a credit right away. Have traveled on road trips all over the country and have never been treated as stingily as here. Filled up with gas and then went inside to get some ice, (Wow the reviewer who said ice Nazi was absolutely correct). Was stopped mid fill up of MY OWN CUP with ice and told I had to pay $0.75-I was confused as I have literally never heard of or seen this at any gas station. Is this typical? Also told if I did not pay they wanted me to give them my cup to dump it out. Senseless and silly. What is the customer service or even common courtesy in this world coming to? read more
