I arrived at this gas station at 5:00 AM because the map shows that it is open from 12 AM to 12 PM. However, when I got there everything was closed, and the girl inside would not allow me to come in to buy anything or even pay for gas. The strange thing is that this doesn't happen on other days, it only seems to happen on Saturdays. If the schedule is different that day, they should update the hours on the map or at least put a notice on the door so customers don't waste their time coming early. It's very frustrating to rely on the posted hours and then find the place closed with no explanation. I hope they either correct the information online or respect the hours they advertise. read more

On June 1st, 2025 11:45am. This place is a money hungry gas station, worst then being in TG. They lie about the special offers they have and charge you more than what is advertised (against the law) . For example, the advertising on the carton of Planters Nuts says if you buy 2 of the Planters product packages it will cost you $1.69, or $0.69 each. I grabbed (1) packet and was charged $1.79, When I told the cashier about the price he said that's the price if I buy 1 packet .The price is not my issue, but why lie to scam the customers into buying something that is not true!! read more

Horrific experience. Stopped for gas and then the guy made me verify that I was a customer (very rudely) by showing him that mats husband was pumping gas outside. Then when I returned the key he yelled at me for not putting them on the hook that I didn't know existed. I've never reviewed a gas station but this one deserved it. Worst service ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Cashier was beyond rude. Claiming I called him stupid. I said he was mistaken, he corrected me and said he was misunderstood. Took my drink I was buying off the counter and had another employee take it back to the fridge. At this point I started to record his actions and at which time he told me not to try and use my camera, that this was private property. I surely hope someone reprimands these actions. I normally don't write reviews but I feel that I have to today its 4am I pull over to fill up my truck I drive a fuel truck I work for a film crew mind you i'm hitting a gas station all day every day I know how this works I go to the window I tell the lady how much fuel I want to put in and she starts asking me for my ID for the card I said it's a company card I have the Pin number but I've never been asked for an ID she got so defensive after I said that to her and she got so rude and told me I've been doing this long time I know how to do my job. Then after that she throws my card and my receipt and slams that window won't be coming here again. read more

Paid for gas outside at the pump and had to go inside to get a receipt. The cashier told me I had to wait in a line 5 people deep to get my receipt. Would not give it to me unless I waited in line. Ten minutes later I get my receipt. Super slow service. All I wanted to do was pump gas and get in the road. This looks like a normal gas station until you get met by the old man employee... WORST GAS STATION!!! Horrible staff!! The person working the night shift was getting disrespectful and targeted my friend because he was black! He told him to move his car after repeatedly telling him that the car was overheated!! He then proceeded to take pics of the license and called the cops! That man must be fired!!! read more

This station has some of the lowest prices in town. They are always packed because of this. There are a couple problems here. First, the pumps are painfully slow. It takes forever to fill up your tank. Need to use your card at the pump? These respond slow as well. I stopped in here to fill up. The price proclaimed 1.99 gas. It was at night, and not visible was the part of the sign that said these prices were cash only. I discovered this at the pump. No problem, so I will use my ATM card. After fooling with the pump forever, I finally gave up and went inside to pay. The cashier told me that the cash price did not apply to ATM cards. Now, many other stations (Unocal for one) have a cash price and this applies to ATM cards as well. The reason for this is simple. ATM transactions are processed differently than credit card transactions. The merchant does not pay the high fees associated with credit cards. ATM cards are not regulated like credit cards, so some merchants (like Carls Jr) can even add a fee on which is completely legal. I asked the cashier and apparently, this is the policy of the owner. The cashiers working there during the day are copying customer's debit cards and pins. I know this for a fact because the one and only place I used my brand new debit card was yesterday at their front desk. Today I had $800 stolen from my bank. In regards to customer service I prefer this gas station to other local options. The employees are always friendly, & helpful when I have questions. There's a lot of diesel pumps most of which are on the backside of the gas station, for the use of large vehicles & big rigs. They have the usual air/water station, & propane as well. If you need a quick gift there's usually someone selling flowers on the Sierra Hwy. side & I think there are still payphones there should you find yourself with a dead cell phone ("payphones" are what we used to put coins in to make public calls before we had cell ... anyway...). This station has a Park & Ride behind it with of course commuter buses (& local routes) stopping on the Newhall Ave. side. I've never asked to use the restroom so I can't comment on that. My review is for all the other amenities & again, the friendly customer service which is a breath of fresh air in this modern era. read more

We chose a Chevron to refuel and take a pit stop because you can usually count on well-maintained facilities. The restrooms were NASTY ! No TP, seat liners stuck all over the floor, no hand soap, no mirror, no hand dryer or hand towels...and my husband said the men's room was even worse, which I can't imagine... The clerk in the mini-mart was rude and carried on a loud conversation with someone else across the store while ringing up my purchase. We won't stop here again. read more

I used to stop there because it had cheaper prices. One day the front pump nearest the convenience store had a faulty sensor and the pump kept going even after my tank was filled. By the time I noticed, the gas was overflowing onto the floor. I had to wash my clothes with baking soda to get rid of the smell. Recently, though, I noticed they've gutted and are rebuilding the station. The second part of my review is a cautionary tale. While I rarely stopped there anymore, there was one day I needed gas and it was on my way. A tallish guy approached my car while I was waiting for a pump and asked for help. i stopped to get gas on my way to work, and after starting to pump the gas, i got in my car to wait. after quite awhile i looked and saw that gas was gushing out like a huge fountain. i went in and asked who i could complain to. was given a number for joe.. when i called joe he asked me to call back in 10 minutes. when i called back, he said the cashier said only 2 drips went on the pavement and the pump was fine. the whole area under my vehicle was saturated with gasoline and i paid about $10 - $12 more than i should have. i will definitely never purchase anything there again and am telling others to do the same. absolutely no customer service, and no concern for safety it seems!!! read more
