Breaded Pork Loin Sandwich. Tasty with good crunch and juicy tenderness.
    John H.

I ate the Breaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich and their homemade Coconut Cream Pie. Both were delicious! I am a fan. For $5.50 their BPT is a bargain of taste, juiciness, and crunch. Comes with small bag of potato chips. I have not tried their french fries. Will try their Chicken Fried Steak next visit. Same place, different day: Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and salad bar for $8.25. What a deal. Batter dipped and fried tenderized steak. Pretty much fork tender in places. A couple of times I used a knife to get done quicker. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. Ate the whole thing and most all of the mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans. Salad bar was a plus. Fresh iceberg lettuce, black olives, chopped boiled egg, and all the rest. Mac salad, pea salad, and more. I was satisfied. Total cost was under $9.00. Scratch cooking. Wish I lived closer.

3 piece chicken strip dinner. Also comes with a roll and a trip to the salad bar.

Hands down the best barbecue in this area. The food is amazing, the service is good, and the portion sizes are huge!

This review is just for the coffee. We didn't need caffeine but stopped in because the idea of an…read moreunderground café sounded fun. The space itself is pretty neat, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, the drinks were a major letdown. The espresso was just okay, but my iced sugar-free caramel latte was downright awful--overly sweet, overloaded with milk, and completely lacking any coffee flavor. It was so unbalanced that I couldn't finish it.

The decor in the second room feels as if you have walked into a Victorian parlor with a mix of speakeasy. I loved the art which was from local artist and available to purchase! The service was great. Our server was attentive as much as she could be. It was really busy but our order was taken quickly, our food came out pretty fast, and we were checked in on a couple of times so no complaints! They have an area where they sit out 4 different kinds of coffee (including their house blend and a decaf) that is called their endless cup. Once seated, you can walk over and serve yourself (sweeteners and creamer are there as well) so no need to wait if you need some coffee! I think it was just 65 cents. I also ordered one of their special seasonal iced coffees as well. My boyfriend got a seasonal match drink. All of them including their signature blend of coffee are delicious! The food was awesome. We got the spicy cheese grits loaded with eggs, veggies, and bacon. A huge platter! A berry stuffed pancake and a biscuit as well. Everything was scrumptious! I loved that the berries were stuffed into the pancake and not just on top. The spicy cheese grits did have a kick to them! We shared all of the items and both agreed everything was delicious! Definitely a place I will return to on my next visit!!
