Went there first time. The place looked promising. Wife had pizza and said it was was good - but was sick a couple hours later. Daughter had nachos with chicken - she thought they were very good. I had a bowl of chili - was cold. Told the waitress and she seemed to get miffed at me. Got my wings - they were cold, too. Both items were just thrown in the microwave. Waitress now appeared to be really miffed. Soup I had to stir well because of the hot and cold spots. The breading on the wings became disgusting. (Was a real shame because the fire sauce was very good.). Couldn't get the waitress for a refill and waited forever for my bill. Oh - a few hours later, I got sick, too. This is a no frills comfortable stop. The clientele are mostly locals and the staff seems very friendly with most of the patrons here. There is nothing fancy about this place, but the food and drinks are cheap and good as far as bar and grill fare is usually concerned. The offer the usual nachos, burgers, pizza type of thing. We split the grilled chicken nachos and it was served with a big piece of grilled chicken right on top. It was very tasty. The folks next to us ordered pizza and it smelled really, really good. They had four or five draft beer options and multiple bottle and can options as well. This place offers carryout beer as well. I had a very pleasant experience at Rte 73 Grill on 2 occasions in the past few weeks. It's in an ideal location on the corner of 73 and 380 (right near Majestic Springs GC). We found this little gem while traveling back home to Pennsylvania after our trip to Cincinnati. Small restaurant with easy off/on access to the interstate. The burgers and fries were very tasty and cooked to perfection. Service was fast and we didn't have to wait long for the food. This is just a little hole in the wall diner right off I-71 and just a couple miles from the Caesar's Creek Flea market. There isn't anything glamorous about this place, but the food is more than you would expect. Each day, there is a daily special- like meatloaf, country fried steak and more, in addition to the regular menu of sandwiches, wraps, pizzas and all that's fried and greasy. I ordered the BLT- because sometimes you just have to have one. I hate having my bread toasted, so I asked for the bread to be as naked as it was intended to be. Usually, when you do that, your order is always iffy because some places toast the bread because it's basically stale bread in disguise. But, the bread was soft, moist and everything I had hoped for. Also, let's talk about the bacon. Most places serve bacon that you can hold up and see through. The whole sandwich might contain a total of two slices of very thin bacon. Their sandwich consists mostly of lettuce to make it look big. But Route 73's bacon was thick slices, grilled to perfection. My sandwich had so much bacon on it that the bacon could have been the meal in itself. The lettuce wasn't used as a filler or a meat substitute. It was the best BLT sandwich I ever had. The day we were there, they had country fried steak for the dinner special. It smelled delicious. No need to come through the doors if you are looking for healthy choices - you won't find them here. This is the way people used to eat - without all the frills and presentation. This is the food I grew up with and have grown to love. It's the food that comforts the soul, but maybe not so much the arteries. This seems to be the best place for locals to come hang out and watch some sporting events at the bar. They have big flat screens with something different for everyone to watch. The bar area is part of the restaurant- there are no dividers. This place offers lots of seating for small to large groups. It's clean and a great place to just sit and enjoy the scenery. I can't wait to go again. read more

This place is so convenient off I 71 at the intersection of 73 and 380. Placed a carry out order coming home from the airport. New owners have remodeled the inside and it looks great! And so was the skinny burger. The burger was fresh with all the fixings and very filling. The fries were crispy. Side salad had a nice mixing of lettuce with tomatoes, bell peppers and red onion. Not your sad little pile of 'bagged lettuce'. Will be back to eat in! read more

After about 8-10 mins or so I try to call from my cell phone of course the number is busy. So I dont dare hang up as the line will just be busy. Stopped by after picking black raspberries at Stokes. If you are in the area, there really isn't anywhere else to go. Basically, it seems they take everything out of the freezer, drop it into the fryer, and put it on your plate. My wife's tenderloin wasn't as good as one at the country fair. I split a Fatboy burger with the kids. Yes it was big, but - like noted below - the beef didnt match any description of "angus beef" that I've ever read. Obviously two frozen beef patties that were then overcooked and slid onto the bun with some cheese. Not very impressive. I did hear the waitress talking up the Philly. The pizza is so good. it's our 1st choice pizza. This pizza has a softer crust, way more toppings (plenty of cheese) and the sauce is sweet. They use canned mushrooms- which isn't very fancy, yet I still love the pizza. The people are very friendly. I just wish they delivered :) I feel like everyone is giving them bad remarks, when they are really quite good. We don't eat in very often. I've never seen anything more sleezy than your typical fast food restaurants though. It has a typical greasy, country, diner feel. And I heard the burgers used to be good. I guess I don't know now? Sometimes the service is a little slow, so don't go if you're in a hurry, but if you're looking for a great place to sit with good friends and eat great food, this is the place. I only get there during the renaissance festival season, and by the time the festival starts up again each year, I'm craving their food. They make everything from scratch, and I've never had anything that was bad.
