It was super snowy out and I noted there were no donations left at the door. There was also a sign that said to knock (as the doorbell is out of order) to ensure that you leave your donations with a staff member. No prob! A few knocks later a nice woman came out to retrieve my donation and offer me a receipt. And off I was to my next errand. On other occasions I've perused their aisles for nearly an hour. There is truly a lot to look at. I picked up a stellar pair of like new Levi's jeans (for only $8) and am now a huge Levi's fan. During Halloween and Christmas their offerings are unmatched. They do a stellar job of putting everything out neatly and at fair prices. They also have events from time to time, one of which I won two $5 vouchers (they are so cute and have prarie dogs on them!). Excite to make another donation soon. Three cheers for spring cleaning!

Had an hour to kill so swung through the Goodwill while visiting Boulder to see what they had!…read more The organization of the clothes is very different than any other Goodwill I've been to: everything was on circular hanging racks. The rack shape made it hard to swipe through clothes, or even get a cart around the store. I've never seen a store not have rows of straight racks...! The selection here is VERY Colorado. As someone visiting from out of state, I loved seeing the differences: lots of Colombia, Duluth Trading Co, etc. so some great brand finds can be had here. Lots of college student clothes and CU gear here too. They had just put out Halloween costumes and decor so that took over a good amount of the store, but you could still navigate it decently. I'm SO sad that most Goodwills - including this one - have moved away from dressing rooms. It forces people to try things on out in the open in front of the mirrors. Service at the counter was friendly and quick: I found a sweatshirt and two tops that came home with me!

I needed the space back and there was not a single place in Boulder still taking this category. Arc Thrift was recommended by the place near my home where I usually donate. This Louisville location was the closest as their Boulder location closed years ago when the property it was on was sold. I called ahead, got directions as I was not familiar with the area or the shopping center it was in. They were very helpful and professional on the phone. It took a while for me to get an arrangement with someone to get it out of the 2nd floor of our house and into one of our vehicles in which it would fit. We called ahead the other day when I finally had someone lined up to help, to see if they had help to unload it at their location. We found the place easily, no line or wait on a weekday morning, and they brought someone out immediately who was very capable of the lift, no damage to it and quite thankful. We were done and on our way in less than 5 minutes. All of the donation area was really was neat and clean and seemed very well organized. A good place if you live nearby or worth the trip for a hard to donate item. And they support a good cause.
