Gerry is really great. We have called him to help us with different issues many times now -clogged bathtub drain, leaking toilet, leaking faucet, a gunky p-trap under our sink that was stuck in the pipe. Every time he responds quickly and gets the job done well. If he thinks it will take more time or needs replacement parts, he lets you know immediately, so you can order cheaper parts if needed etc. What I love most is he is knows enough to actually analyze what is causing the problem. Wow, absolutely amazing and wonderful plumber! I'm a very strong believer in finding the right people for a job and keeping them in my network. I contacted Gerry via phone after asking my community on nextdoor if they knew of a good plumber that won't rip me off. I received a comment and a link shortly after recommending Gerry. I looked at the reviews on nextdoor (didn't know that was a thing), as well as the reviews here and figured I'd give him a call. Upon calling, I received a quick text message stating he couldn't talk at the moment, but also asking what I needed help with. After letting him know I had a toilet that was running, he called me within 3 minutes. While on the phone, he told me he's also local to Arlington and could swing by today after 2/2:30pm. I asked what his rate was and he said "free estimate, I'm close to you." Gerry got here around 3pm as promised and we checked out the issue. Originally, I thought it was a flapper or a gasket.. but he quickly brought to my attention that the toilet was also leaking. He estimated a charge of 245 (248 with tax) to fix all the inner components and the valve. I said let's do it, and he went to work. I asked if I could watch and we ended up having a great conversation. Super down to earth person! After replacing the components, he got on the ground with a towel and proceeded to check the toilet. It was brought to my attention that we have a crack in it and would likely need a replacement. I was so touched at how genuine he was as he wasn't trying to push anything on me and he even reduced the charge to just 120. He said if I want or choose to replace the toilet, that's up to me and my wife to decide. If we'd like him to help, just get the toilet off Amazon and he'll come out to install it and just charge the install. Estimate for toilet installation is 250, but well worth it for an incredibly professional plumber. I highly recommend Gerry and would absolutely, love to work with him again. I called 703 plumbers on Monday re: leaky faucet. Jerry stopped by the house the next day - we texted and set up time etc, very flexible and responsive. He tried to make a minor repair but was unable to find the needed replacement part after traveling all the way to Manassas (I'm in arlington) and even trying local hardware stores. Faucet was at least 37 years old. On Wednesday he was back at the house and installed new unit and everything looks brand new. Cant tell he took entire sink apart. We were staying at our friends' house. They had warned us that the sink in the guest bathroom was not draining well but after several days, it was almost completely blocked. It took 15 minutes to drain after just a hand wash.. My husband bought a stiff plastic hair snake but nothing came up and we knew the problem must be in the "U" trap. Within 1.5 hours of my 8am call, Mr. Caceres of 703 Plumbers was at my home to repair a clogged kitchen drain. This has been an ongoing problem for years. No one EVER, was able to open the drain faster than Mr. Caceres! He also explained that I needed a Jet cleaning (which we had never had done before) because of my older pipes (at least 30 years old). The only reason I am waiting til March to do this, is that it must be done from the roof and better weather then will make it easier. Could not have been MORE pleased and impressed with Mr. Caceres honesty AND ability. Get the jetting from any plumber he said. I'm just telling you what will be best for you. He even suggested checking out the jetting process on youtube to see how it works. I have already added Mr. Caceres of 703 Plumbers to my March calendar. Jerry is a liar. He told me he is installing an expensive insinkerator ($150) so he based his price on this amount. His labor was steep $200 for 20 min job ! I trusted him after seeing some good reviews from my local neighbors. After he left, I check the model and the price in Home Depot is less than $80 when you buy in bulk - which I know he did as he had many in his truck. After several calls asking for an explanation he hangs up on me. Don't call him to do any job... just a warning! read more

Called Jerry on Thursday January 21, 2016 because of a leak in my ceiling. I wanted to get it checked out before the storm on Friday. He said he charges $45 to come out to check leak. If he fixed the problem there would only be the charge to repair. He looked at the leak told me it only needed caulking. He said there was nothing wrong with the pipes even though that is where the water was flowing from. Then he said $75. I said to Jerry but you did not do anything and reminded him that he said $45 in the phone. He said he did work when he poured water in the tub plus gas. I have tried to contact him because the problem still exists, no response from Jerry. UNSATISFACTORY! read more
