The Miami Heat roll (fried tempura with spicy crab, cream cheese, jalapeño, and eel sauce) is our favorite, along with the classic shrimp tempura roll. Their crab puff appetizer is also one of the best in the area. On top of that, the flavored teas--like ginger peach or blueberry hibiscus--pair really well with the food. Don't overlook the grill either, the steak teriyaki and hibachi are always a hit with the kids. Overall, it's a solid dine-in or takeout spot that delivers good food at a great price.

It just melted in your mouth. The sauce was terrific and not spicy at all. The steak quesadilla was again another perfect blend of cheeses with the perfect balance of steak. The steak fajita was seasoned to perfect perfection and not spicy and not greedy. I highly recommend you try these. I have not had Mexican food this good in a long time and this restaurant is now going on my list of favorites. We had amazing customer service and our server was so nice and so on top of everything I think he was top-notch. If you have never tried red River Cantina, you do not know what you are missing. The ambience. The customer service and the food was up there in one of the best. I wish I had not gotten full so quickly because I just wanted to continue eating all of my food. Since it was my first time there, I wasn't familiar with the pickup process. There was a family sitting in the lobby, and when an employee came to the front, he greeted them and asked if they had been helped... meanwhile I was standing right there in front of him. After speaking to them, he put his head down and started looking through something without ever acknowledging me. I waited a moment to see if I'd be acknowledged, but I wasn't. Eventually, I stepped closer and asked where I could pick up the order. He dismissively pointed around the corner. That was issue #1. Issue #2: when I got to the pickup area, employees were moving in and out of the kitchen and walking throughout the restaurant, but no one stopped to acknowledge me. NOT ONE person. I waited another 7 minutes (yes, I timed it) before someone finally asked, "What do you need?" Not, "hi, how can I help you?" But, "what do you need?" As a delivery driver, the expectation is to be able to come in, grab the order, and go. Instead, I felt completely invisible. I won't be returning to this establishment. To management: please train your staff on basic customer service and acknowledgment. A simple "we'll be right with you" would have made a huge difference.

I ordered the 5 pounds of crawfish as well as the suya. The suya came with two sides I ordered the jolloff rice and plantains. The owner Charles came out with a platter so big - I was like wow this is going to be good! I waited until I got home to eat, but I was not disappointed. Actually it exceeded my expectations. The crawfish was so juicy - it came with eggs, sausage and corn. It was seasoned well with the right amount of balance. I had never had peppers in my crawfish before but it was delicious due to the fact that they had marinated in the seasoning - which gave it a a kick but wasn't too spicy The suya was phenomenal, cooked to perfection. The jolloff rice was undefeated and the plantains were juicy and sweet. This spot brought together some of my favorite foods and I will and have been recommending this place to everyone!
