I don't know what's going on at this 7-Eleven, but it is consistently one of the dirtiest convenience stores I've ever visited. Every single time I walk in, the soda machine has no ice--not "low," not "melting," but completely empty. And when you finally accept your fate and try to get a drink anyway, good luck finding a cup. They're always out, or the few left are crushed or sticky. The soda/slushy area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. The counters, the nozzles, even the floor are so sticky it feels like you're walking through spilled syrup. It's honestly disgusting. What blows my mind the most is I don't know how corporate hasn't come in and told them to fix this store ASAP. It's that bad. It feels like nobody bothers cleaning, restocking, or doing even basic upkeep. If you're hoping for a quick drink, a clean environment, or literally any standard of customer service, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. I'm writing this review due to 7-11 policy not the workers. I like the workers here and they know who I am bc I come here regularly at night. But one time I tried to buy a lottery ticket at 12am he said no it's close I told him what does that mean and didn't give me an answer so I was like whatever. But tonight I tried to buy a gift card and he said the same thing so I asked why he said it's close again I'm like "??" I don't think lottery tickets or gift cards automatically just shut down at 12am. As soon as my bf and I walked in, there was a customer at the register and the cashier stopped my bf and asked for his license. We were both confused and thought he was getting carded for just walking into the store! The customer was holding her passport and the cashier said he needed his license to scan it for her passport. Um, first of all I think it's inappropriate to ask a total stranger for their ID and second of all, there's no way we would let them scan his ID when we don't want to get involved in whatever situation. As I work nearby I come here almost daily and almost daily I spend $20 I usually get my taquitos and the last 2 times I've come in they keep giving me the wrong taquitos and trying to convince me they are chicken as that's what I ask for, however I keep getting beef (its so obvious its beef) and the men here are so rude They don't even look they pretty much just say take it and they're very judgmental and not friendly. I've been going to this 7/11 for YEARS and there's a new girl who they just hired, talk about ATTITUDE! I tried multiple times to make the transaction at least mildly tolerable but dear lord I almost asked if her attitude was her Halloween costume. I've worked in customer service my whole life (7 years, in school for tech) so I know good customer service and she's lucky I was in a good mood. management you can do better, also I'm curious, with those LONG "pink" press on nails she has how does she serve the hot food to customers? Can't get that "oh my god can you not be so nice like if I'm this miserable you have to be too" Get it together girl. Work life and home life. Separate them. All the other workers? One of the weirdest experiences ever. I've been to this particular location a few times and have not had any issues. Tonight I visited the store to buy some chips and a Caucasian male with glasses was working the register. Haven't seen him working before. I walked up and greeted him and he stood at the back of the register sipping his drink staring at me. I stood there and waited for him to ring me up. He continued to give me the death stare without saying a word. Umm okay. That's not weird at all. I just left the store and he continued to stare and then looked through the windows as I drove away. The worst customer service given this morning by amale employee. My boyfriend and his brother go buy their coffee every morning and the employee very loud and rudely said to not use the coffee machine and to please clean after themselves. Also when about to be checked out my boyfriend had told the employee they had added one more item and the employee seemed frustrated decided to not check them out and skip them and help the people behind them. During the day this 7-Eleven is fine, the employees are great. But the punk that works nights is disrespectful AF and needs his ass whooped. I let his disrespect slide for about a year and a half, two years but tonight was the straw that did it. He gets no respect from me from now on. That piece of $h!t called the cops on me for waiting for him like he said. He told me to wait 25-30 minutes to get a black and mild because he said he closed down the system, even though I just walked out of the door from making a purchase, I turned around because I forgot to get my cigar because his disrespectful demeanor his ddistracting. I asked if he could just take the $2 and give me the cigar so I don't have to wait he said, "No". Whatever, so I said I'll just wait outside then and he said, "Ok". After waiting for about 10 minutes he comes to door and tells me to leave, and I can't wait there. I told him I don't need the change can he please do that for me, and he refused. First off, 12:20am and I walked over there. Then he comes back to the door and said he's going to call the cops on me if I don't leave. Seriously where am I going to wait for him to do his job in the middle of the night? Then closes the door on my face while I'm trying to talk to him. He's lucky he's in Yorba Linda because I know a few people that want to shut his lights off because of his disrespect. That dude needs to go for his safety and the consumer's safety as well. I went here a couple weeks ago. The manager was the rudest person I have ever met. When I asked her to verify a price that was not properly ringing up she rolled her eyes and was so bothered. She made me feel like I was a problem for her. She proceeded to tell em multiple times to calm down when I was tell her i just wanted to pay the correct price and I couldn't understand why she was so mad whe it was my money. She then started arguing with another customer and telling her she didn't have to shop there. He then told me I didn't have to spend my money there. It was an awful experience when I was just trying to get some coffee before work. Needless to say I did not spend my money there. Other customer's who were exiting the store told me outside she is always like that. Next time in Yorba Linda I recommend going to a different convenience store. read more

This hurts me to write. I used to love it here. 9 years of spending time here, buying many things, and getting to know many workers. The family that owns it is great.... I'm not sure if that changed or if they just stopped caring about who they hire? But I was in here less than 20 minutes ago. Couldn't get the attention of the employees, kids wanted slurpees, I was in a super hurry, and they were busy mostly talking to one another, but granted there were a few other customers. So having been a long time customer and knowing many employees, I have restocked small items, faced, dusted, cleaned, and pulled dated food for fun at this location to help singularly on shift workers. I knew where the slurped lids were. We walked up to the area and there was an explosion of lids. None of which fit, so underneath is storage. I pulled some out for the kids and this guy walks up well after it's done and I've put things back and made a comment, made it sound like we did this mess (I would have been pissed if it were my kids, it wasn't), and when I said I fixed the current issue I had, he refused to listen to what I said, turned to the coworker, and said "ha. Look. She said she fixed it". I repeatedly tried to explain and I'm positive he was too high to care what I said, so I stopped talking, walked around, and paid for my items. I tried to tell the other guy and he cut me off, tried to correct me, and I finally said, out of frustration, "I don't give a sh*t", paid, left saying "maybe tell your friend to lay off the pot". I can't say I blame them, they are young and clearly weren't taught any manner of customer service in the past, but they were awful. Particularly the taller one. The shorter one was more of a "he's cool, I'll act like him to get him to like me" kind of rude. I adored the owner before, but I can't bring myself to want to be around people with blatant disregard to anything, including a big part of their job. Sure, I should have asked. I should have waited however long it would have taken him to realize I needed something while laughing at air or whatever. In a hurry, busting my own butt for days on end, getting kids a treat for a good week at school...... and now we will find another tradition. read more

The grave yard shift worker is absolutely terrible. He claims you can only buy lotto tickets with cash and refuses to accept debit which is ridiculous and false. I went in there a few minutes ago and bought a beer and 6$ worth of scratch off tickets, lost... bought 10$ more and cashed them out for 12$, when I cashed them out he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't sell me any more because I was taking up to much of his time and he has a job to do. THIS GUY HAS A MAJOR ATTITUDE PROBLEM AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIM! I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE UNTIL HE IS FIRED! 0/5 STARS IF POSSIBLE!! This location in the past 2 years has some employees who completely lack any sense of customer service. In particular, I visited the location around 10pm on 11/01 to grab snacks on my way home. And the gentleman at the counter decided to rudely scoff when I grabbed my items (chips, gum, and candy) and then scanned and rudely tossed my items towards me. I asked if he was doing alright this evening. He stared me down and was silent. I then asked him his name, since he wasn't wearing any name tag and he said, "Why?" I whispered under my breath, just leave it, and he may have heard me say something else as he then decided to get quite animated and hostile. He said, "I will call the police because you are trespassing!" I looked at him quite confused because at this point I had already entered my card to make my payment. I said, "What did you say to me? I just asked if you were doing all right this evening, and you chose to get quite animated and threaten to call the police when I have only asked you two simple questions." He then said, "Choose your next words carefully." Like I whispered earlier under my breath, just leave it and I chose to finish paying and walk out of the store. My family has been coming to this location for over 10 years and I am so disappointed in the employees' recent behaviors and treatment towards me. Seriously this is one of the best 7-Eleven's! I go to a lot of them and I know a good one when I see it! Their always fully stocked no matter what time of day it is! They have the biggest freshest selection of hot foods! 4 mini tacos for $1.00!!? When truly I know I can't just buy 4 and be content! I need 8 to be satisfied! And I just discovered last week ... Coffee//Hot Coco is $1.00! ANY SIZE! SCORE!! One of the female employees is SUPER nice and friendly! She's the one that told us about the coffee and offered us sauces for our tacos! You could tell you'd get some sort of illness from them. 7-11 gets creepy at night, so I'm glad I've only been there once when it was late. I LOVE this 7-11. I go here at least three times a week. The people who work here are so friendly and nice. They always give me coupons for their products. They look for ways to help their costumers save money. They even give me coupons to use them later on in case they run out before the next time I go. Today was free Slurpee day and the place was totally packed. I mean it was a madhouse. It was so loud and people kept making big messes by the Slurpee machine. This 7eleven used to be a good go to spot, but.....I have found that their crew(employees) have changed over the past 3-12 months. For the most part, it's the AM crew that is unfriendly! I mean what is going on here?? The days of "Thank You", Hello - Hows it going, "GoodBye" no longer exists in the morning at this location. I hesitate to give my money to grumpy, unappreciative workers. While their selection is about the same as any other 7 eleven that serves alcohol, I find the store a few miles west of here to be much more friendly. Unfortunately, this newer location down the road doesn't serve alcohol, but I don't drink so it doesn't bother me. Hope this location gets back to having better customer service, so I can start going here again. read more

I have been coming here for 30 years and have never see a worker at this 7-11 as rude and lazy as "Weaver". I have bought lottery tickets here for ever. I bought a couple yesterday and won a little money. I took the cards in to be redeemed and he scanned the first one and said it is not scanning. I looked at it and it still had a little coating on it, he took the second one and said it is not scanning. He then said here, use this coin to scratch it. I looked at him and said are you kidding me. Every one there has always grabbed a coin and did it. He tells me he had never saw that one and does not know where to scratch it. I told him he is lazy and his customer service is lousy. He says customers are number one, I told him he is lying. He does not know what customer service is. He was stand -offish and very rude. Never once wanted to try and make it right by scratching it. I told him I would take the cards else where for redemption. I go everyday to this seven eleven, if I enter the store and see him there I will buy my coffee at McDonald's. I will also warn my neighbors about this guy.
