Drove to LA with my boyfriend to food hop for my birthday. On our way back home to Pomona we stopped by this 7 Eleven to grab a drink. My boyfriend went inside and came out with a Diet Coke (he's diabetic and we both drink diet when drinking soda). He was so happy when he got to the car, saying he really liked the owner here. He said they got to talking about sugar free products that are sometimes hard to come by (aside from soda)... then the owner made his day... He had SUGAR FREE SLURPEE! We had to try it and we were not disappointed. He only had the Vitamin Water Blueberry Hibiscus flavor in sugar free (but it was delicious). This was the first time my boyfriend got to enjoy a zero sugar slurpee. I went into this 7-Eleven this morning to purchase some breakfast. The cashier refused to tender to me the correct change. When I asked about my change, he pointed to a paper sign that was taped onto the acrylic divider separating himself from the customers. The sign merely warned people to stand 6 feet apart, and said nothing about 7-Eleven not giving change back. I asked him what that meant, to which he rudely replied, "WE DON'T GIVE CHANGE." Not the best 7-Eleven to go to. The guy who is there when I go in the mornings is really grouchy and stares you down like something out of a Western movie. The donuts are overpriced here, you would be better off, taste wise and money wise at a Winchell's or Yum Yum Donuts. The only thing that I still get here are Arizona Iced Teas, and this 7-Eleven charges a ridiculous CRV of 6 cents, which I never get anywhere else. Honestly the only reason why I still frequent this place if because of the close proximity(walking distance) to Whittier High School, there is nothing else close by:/ Avoid this place unless you want a stare down contest with a grumpy old man. read more

I just got home from 7 eleven...... I had decided I didnt want to go here anymore because the employees are rude and 2 times in the past month I was told they HAD NO BAGS????? Come on now... But today I decided to give them 1 more try because they were the only store open this early. I'm patient with their new employees, just be respectful and show some patience. I'm a loyal 7-Eleven loving foodie. I usually know the employees that work at my local store and the characteristics of each one. I've visited hundr do on the road and on vacation. This is by far the worst store I've ever been to. It's dirty outside and inside, but the service is absolutely deplorable. There is a particular person named Singoff that everyday is creating a bad name for this brand. I've had so many bad experiences with him. To his bad attitude, inability to answer any questions, dirty looks, and all around attitude. I don't say this lightly, he is the worst customer service worker I've ever encountered in my 33 years of life. I cringe everytime I see him working the register. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I used to frequent this 7-Eleven as it's close to my home. Last week I went in and asked for change for a $20 dollar bill that I withdrew from their ATM machine inside the store. The cashier proceeds to lie to me saying that she didn't have change when I saw her give a person that was two people ahead of me change for a $100 dollar bill. I reminded her of what she had just done for another client and that I withdrew the money from their store. Her counterpart starts to yell at me saying that the ATM isn't 7-Eleven property and that I can only get change if i'm a customer. This 7 eleven sucks! It's only 2 blocks from me but I'd rather just go to the Arco gas station. This 7 eleven is dirty I had been here a long time ago for a French vanilla cappuccino. I paid for it then took a sip.. It tasted like water so I dumped it out. I work in retail, so this really bothered me. Came to this 7-11 to get some nachos. I always get my cheese poured into the bottom half of the package. I'm a picky eater and don't like to get home to soggy nacho chips but that's just me. Anyway, we go to pay and I go first. She picks up the little package (I had taken the nachos out so she could scan the nachos) and she drops it like its the most disgusting thing she's ever seen and says "Next time don't fill it this way!" in the most unkind manner I think I've ever heard. I've had CUSTOMERS be rude to me, but never employees of a large franchise. If I had acted that way, I'd be written up and torn a new one by my manager! That's the only thing she says to me, and I paid for my items. My friend pays and she very sweetly tells her about a promotion they're having and hands her a flyer, reads her the total, everything. She then looks at me and goes "You want one too?" (A flyer). I gave her the same attitude and told her no. She didn't seem to like me looking straight at her. Very rude.
