So why would I possibly give 5 stars? Well, his name is Bob. Bob and his son, Andrew, own and run this store and on a recent Monday a woman in her 90s entered the store confused and in a bit of angst unaware of where she was and how to get her disabled vehicle operating again. Bob was there that night. Instead of dismissing her he treated her with kindness and helped her get in touch with both the necessary public services and her daughter. My fiancé has stopped in twice to shake Bob's hand and thank him but has missed him both times. So, this is the other way I know to show thanks for outstanding service even if not related to your intended service. Thanks, Bob, from an entire family.

Whether it's drive through or going inside, sometimes I am able to get my prescription and get out of there, other times I'm waiting for a long time. It's a bit frustrating because any time I'm in a hurry, it seems like I get the slow speed checkout. At least the price is relatively cheap here for prescriptions.

I was here the day after Christmas around 11 o'clock and nobody was in here. I was hoping to find some 50% off Christmas goodies, but failed. I did buy two small packs of Walkers shortbread stars, so it wasn't a total bummer of a visit.

Even 90 seconds outside of your car in full winter garb will leave you feeling like you were stranded in the Siberian tundra. As for the convenience store segment? It's not bad. Much cleaner and better organized than most area gas station convenience stores. It doesn't seem as 2/3 of the inventory is past date either, which is also too common. You are honestly probably better off running into the main Meijer store for most of these needs but they are here and they are convenient if you don't feel like the extra stop.

This review is just for the LabCorp part of Walgreens. I needed to get a COVID antibody test done…read morefor part of a Crohn's/IBD study I'm in, and it could only be done at a LabCorp center. The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.
