Very nice relaxing place to have coffee great vibes and very helpful when trying new coffee. I love…read morea great coffee spot.ill be back again.

I was recommended this coffee shop by a family member since they know how much I love coffee. They…read moresaid, "the best coffee, I've ever had." A bit of background on my obsession on coffee, I am not an individual that drinks a cup of joe with 500 syrups and 80 cups of milk and say "this is the best coffee EVER!" If it's my first time getting coffee from a coffee shop, I will get a plain black coffee. Therefore, I ordered black iced coffee, which had a good balance in flavors. As for a second coffee, I ordered the Iced Cafe Miel Latte with oat milk. This drink was very good and there was an even ratio between coffee and milk, not too sweet too. Originally, I wanted to grab my coffee and sit inside the coffee shop (from the view outside, the shop looked pretty and modern) but there was no parking spots and the parking lot is beyond small but I did see folks park in the establishment next door and walk over. The drive thru is narrow but the wait time was a bit long and the person at the drive thru didn't seem enthusiastic. Overall, I did enjoy the coffee but I do not see the hype. It basic coffee, nothing that stands out from the rest. I must say the coffee was a bit overpriced, it did not match the quantity. Would I recommend this place to others? I would, only if you're in the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way (20 min) to grab a coffee from this spot.

OK. SO. Since now I've only reviewed the places I believe deserve 5 stars for being outstanding…read more Time to visit the other side of the spectrum, too. I had high hopes for this place...a new, local owned joint to compete with the Starbucks of the area. But no. The leadership of the business does not take any suggestion onto consideration - some complainants I've heard from customers: menu too small, the decor looks like a hospital, the bathroom trash containers are too small, the drinks are weak. When take to management, the suggestions are discarded with a flat "we aren't making any changes." Why? "Because this is how I like it." Ok then. Moving on. Another major issue is the fact that they try to pass their loose tea as their own proprietary blend and it is not the case! The tea is Harney & Son's Tea NOT special blends made by Bean & Tea. Show some respect and shout out your supplier because the tea is good, quality stuff! The staff is nice but everyone is poorly trained and your drink will taste different every time. I'd say, skip this place. For tea go to Goldfish Tea in Royal Oak. For coffee, choose Biggby instead.

I've been to this location before when it was a Caribou Coffee. It seemed to be fairly packed…read moresomewhat consistently. This new store is pretty nice. The interior is bright and the colors pleasant. The small square tables have been replaced by small round tables. By the front door is a comfortable cove with a wall sofa and ottoman cube seats. It wasn't too busy tonight; perhaps that's why the free internet was working so well. The menu is decent. The prices were in a font way too small to read unfortunately. At any rate, I only purchased a medium house blend coffee. After all, how can you really judge a coffee shop without trying their basic coffee offering. It was mild; much more so than the bitter, burnt java Caribou used to sell. The insulated disposable cups they use are effective. The built-in coffee cup sleeve kept my finger tips cool while I enjoyed the hot cup of joe. Next time I plan on trying one of their many tasty-sounding drinks and perhaps even indulging in one of tasty appearing baked treats on display by the register. Anyway, overall it was a pleasant experience. Go check it out for yourself and support a local business!
