About a dozen folks in the shop, indoor and outdoor seating, vintage rock band tees on the wall for merch, and an eclectic, laid-back vibe that feels intentional rather than curated. One guy behind the counter--clearly the owner--was fully locked in, making a sourdough egg and avocado toast and a cappuccino. No rushing, no distraction. When he finished, he looked up, smiled, and invited me to order. That moment set the tone. I ordered a flat white, and you can taste the passion immediately. Perfect milk temperature, balanced proportions, and clearly dialed-in beans with the right brew time. This is someone who respects the craft. I ended up stopping to thank him--not just for the coffee, but for taking a moment to chat about the business and for genuinely making us feel welcome.
