It is 10 cent cheaper for using cash vs credit. I was able to get an additional 10 cent off using my fuel rewards. I'm surprised I got the cash price as I used my debit card at the pump. No complaints! They have a hunts pizza inside the location if you're wanting some food. I went inside to use the restroom and grab something to drink as I had 3 more hours on my trip. The restroom wasn't the cleanest but also wasn't the nastiest. There was a sign on the restroom saying that the restrooms are for customers only, which is odd, in my opinion, considering the location. They had a few sales on beverages. I got 2 Gatorade zero for $5. The male cashier was very friendly.

My car gets decent mileage (especially if I keep it to 70) and I try hard to get right down to the bottom of the tank. Today, that brought me to Pelzer and a sign for a gas station. Pulling off the highway, I saw one to the left and one to the right. I like Shell by default and since the price at the Shell station was cheaper, I went there. Sadly, what was on the sign was the CASH price. Lame. The credit price is an extra dime a gallon. But by the time I've gotten here and gotten settled, is it really work a buck and a half to go over to the other station for the cheaper price? No. But it means that I won't be back to Team's Shell.

After exiting I noticed a few of stations weren't going to be very accommodating being my rig and toad exceeds 50 feet in length, add in the fact there is no backing up when towing four wheels down and the turning radius isn't much better than a tractor trailer rig. This Spinx station is laid out in such a way it eliminates issues most extended length vehicles face. This is a beautiful and very clean little fueling stop / convenient store, I understand a lot of stations limit the fueling limits to $75 when using a debit card so I always use a credit card when filling the RV for that reason alone - it's rare that the pump stops before pumping one-hundred and twenty-five dollars so it's a little frustrating when the pump shuts off when there's plenty more fuel to pump. I'm sure others feel the pain as well especially when the card reader has to time out before swiping the same credit card. It's not a deal breaker but management should address this or don't ask me about my choice of payment...
