Their men's bathroom is spacious and clean - big enough to freshen up, not just use the facilities. There is a Hardee's connected to Love's. We grabbed a couple of biscuits and, not surprisingly, the wait took a bit - just like home! Overall, this Love's a good spot. Nothing special about it (outside of it looking brand new), but it's excellent that there's nothing terribly wrong with it. I'll keep this spot in mind whenever I'm traveling on 85. After exiting I noticed a few of stations weren't going to be very accommodating being my rig and toad exceeds 50 feet in length, add in the fact there is no backing up when towing four wheels down and the turning radius isn't much better than a tractor trailer rig. This Spinx station is laid out in such a way it eliminates issues most extended length vehicles face. This is a beautiful and very clean little fueling stop / convenient store, I understand a lot of stations limit the fueling limits to $75 when using a debit card so I always use a credit card when filling the RV for that reason alone - it's rare that the pump stops before pumping one-hundred and twenty-five dollars so it's a little frustrating when the pump shuts off when there's plenty more fuel to pump. I'm sure others feel the pain as well especially when the card reader has to time out before swiping the same credit card. It's not a deal breaker but management should address this or don't ask me about my choice of payment...

We had been on the road for about 2 1/2 hours when we decided to stop, hit the rest rooms and grab something to eat. Spinx was right off I-85 and quick to get in and out of. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place, how bright it was and how well it was organized. Getting the coffee was a bit of a challenge becaus they have about 8 varieties and all looked good. Chose a Bold Columbian Roast which as very good. The restroom wasn't the cleanest but also wasn't the nastiest. There was a sign on the restroom saying that the restrooms are for customers only, which is odd, in my opinion, considering the location. They had a few sales on beverages. Pulling off the highway, I saw one to the left and one to the right. I like Shell by default and since the price at the Shell station was cheaper, I went there. Sadly, what was on the sign was the CASH price. Lame. The credit price is an extra dime a gallon. But by the time I've gotten here and gotten settled, is it really work a buck and a half to go over to the other station for the cheaper price? No. But it means that I won't be back to Team's Shell.

Plus, they are in a convenient location and it's easy to get in and out of. I wanted to wash my windows and all the buckets were bone dry. Bummer! When I was done pumping I had a pop up on the screen to see the cashier for a receipt. No biggie since I wanted to get some snacks anyway. To my surprise, the main store was closed. Huh? You could get gas, but not shop...not a soul in sight. Very strange. No snacks or a receipt for me! I'm sure there is a staffing shortage or something.
