If I could give a negative and cuss all through this review. I would. The guy who is working Thanksgiving morning 1030a definitely has an issue with customer service. And I don't play that. I came in for something to drink and either matches or a lighter. My boyfriend chose the pre- made Mexican Hot Chocolate and as we approached the register, I asked if the cashier had matches. He gave me the most dry and dismissive "No" as he quickly tried to ring my boyfriend up. The store not busy mind you. So my Bf asks for a lighter. .... now... if i asked you for matches.. that means im not trying to spend money on a lighter so IF I have to I'm definitely not purchasing your most expensive.. which is exactly the lighter he chose... didn't even let us pick the color like most cashiers do.. he chose for us and rang it up. Didn't tell us how much it was nothing. So I stop him. And I look and say , NO. How much are those lighters right there?? A dollar and some change for the cheap one. I said yea that's the one we want. He IGNORES me!! I said hello? Then proceeded to ask why he would select the most expensive lighter and not ask us. He tells my BF again the price of the expensive lighter (he'd already scanned) and asked him if he wanted it?.. I answered and stated again No. and told him we want the cheaper one. He ignored me.. then asked my BF if he wanted the expensive lighter. I said , let me get out of here before I go off because what?!! I walked out the store. Be careful to stand & count, when you receive change back from this place!!!. It was the first time I've been here and likely the last! I came to purchase something small just to break a big bill. I handed the cashi a 50-dollar bill, he abruptly asked "you dont have anything smaller?" I explained that I was at his store to purchase because the ATM didn't give me small bills, he didn't reply just walked off likely to check that it was authentic, then came back & rang me up. I didn't count the change until I got in the car & glad I asked for a receipt. I was shorted a small amount but still shorted. I went back after running my errand & explained. Another person was at the register but the original guy could hear me. They didn't put up too much of a height that I did have to explain the situation a couple times. However, the second guy still do not give me back the correct amount! Just beware and count your change carefully before leaving the counter. I feel as though I was profiled by the clerk, I went for my lunch break @ 3AM. I was the only customer and I actually needed a few things so I roamed around the store, I guess that made the cashier nervous. After maybe 5 mins; as I was deciding on which slurpy flavor to get. Randomly the cashier comes to me and says,"are you done, I need to close the store". I put down everything in my hands and left the store. I understand the rate for theft in this location may be high, but assuming paying customers will steal, won't solve that problem. Glad to know where I'm unwelcome. read more

I've never had a real big issue with this location. Reading through some of the reviews, I've never seen anything like what has been described. It's a 711 location, it's nice that they have a large parking lot, and the store itself is also pretty large. The food, if that's what you're here for, is the exact quality you would expect from 7-Eleven. And they do have a pretty good selection of things, because again the store is pretty large. The things that I would say bring this location down, is that it's very difficult to get in and out of this location. It's located right on Laurel canyon boulevard, so unless you're turning right (both into and out of the parking lot) it can be a little difficult to get to. read more

Went to go to this same 7/11 to redeem the free points I got from the last incident when the worker "Pal" and his other associate didn't give me my PAID drinks from mobile checkout. I received 9000 points from the incident. Yesterday, I tried redeeming 3000 points for a FREE energy drink. The store associate "Pal" said I owed 5cents. I assumed it was the CRV but I looked at him confused and he said "It's only 5 cents!" So I paid it. Today, I went again to redeem another 3000 points for the same type of energy drink. This time the same worker "Pal" said I owed 44 cents. I was confused and said why did I pay 5 cents yesterday and now I owe 44 cents. He said "I don't know, tax." I entered the store to get some drinks for my grandaughter (3yrs.) and friend(10yrs.old)The two employees were being rude to a lady in a wheel chair and another lady. I thought they may have done something. Minding my own buisness tried to get a slushie but it was watery. I took it to the front to see if they could dump it in the sink behind the counter. The lady jumped down my throat telling me to dump it at the machine. I was shocked by the aggressive tone. Then i asked the man for straws and he threw one down. My granddaughter did not have a straw. I repeated myself asking him to give her a straw. He told me no, go get your drink then i will give it to you. What? No i threw the cup away and came back to the counter. I asked them why they were so angry? The man said he was not angry but wouldnt give my 3yr old granddaughter a straw. They then tried to charge me $3.90 for the small dollar cups. I told them they were over charging me. He then changed the price. Wth? The lady began yelling and telling me who do i think i was telling them they were rude and telling me not to come back. In front of my kids. She got some damn nerve. Do not give money to buisness. People deserve to be treated with respect. There was absolutely no reason me and my kids should have been spoken to in this manner. Respect goes a long way. Skimming through the reviews below, I see a lot about bad service and the food. I don't expect exceptional service at at 7-Eleven. And I would definitely never ever eat their prepared food. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of friends who do and they seem to enjoy it. I'm just saying, you should know you are taking a tummy risk when eating that. Come on, it's a given. Your lying to yourself if your expecting quality food. If I'm stopping here it's either for coffee, candy, chips, or water. And they always have these items. Plus it's a well kept clean store. So, to me, this place rocks my socks off. The employees have always been friendly to me, and by that I mean they say hello and smile when they ring me up. I don't expect anything more. It's a convenient store for Pete's sake. I will say, they have a lot of homeless people outside. Personally, I don't mind, but I know people can get weird about that. They recently put up a sign saying that you can't buy them anything. Perhaps that'll keep them away? The parking lot is shared with a laundromat so it can get pretty packed. This place is so racist and so rude. I was patiently waiting in line with chips and chocolate for my girlfriend, and I was supposed to be next in line, and this young guy completely ignored me and helps the next person, and I told him I was next in line , and the everyone in line agreed with me , but he still ignored me. He helped the white guy who who was supposed to be after me. I felt so bad and discriminated by this fellow guy, and his co- worker kept apologizing for his behavior. I am very polite and professional and I don't think I deserve this service. He looked Indian to me, and I don't think I can ever go back here again. Be careful at this 7-Eleven. I was in there February 1st they charged me twice. The cashier said the first transaction didn't go through. So he rang it up again so I swipe my card paid. Check my bank statement they had charged me twice. When I went back in to tell them they acted like they didn't know anything about it. They said they would talk to the manager and let me know the next day. When in the next day February 2nd same two guys for their neither one acting like they knew what was going on. Normally, I really appreciate the convenience and reliability of 7-11s. I mostly, have positive feelings about them in general. I don't want to spend a lot of time on this so I'll just sum it up to say that I've been ASTONISHED by how filthy the soda fountain is and all their cups and lids the vast majority of times I've even attempted to find a clean cup. I don't have OCD. In fact, I'm rather messy. This place is freaking disgusting. The cups within other cups are dirty. If you get any food (which you shouldn't), be sure to rip it apart first to ensure that there isn't a SUBSTANTIAL amount of hair in it. Multiple clumps of hair. While I could never get any open food or drink there again without feeling like I have 0 standards, I was never going to bother to make a review, but I walked into this location today and without even having reason to speak to anyone as I ended up not buying anything, I was taken back and disturbed by how rude "The Woman Cashier" was. Holy crap. This location needs to be scrapped. If you look at any recent reviews here, they're all terrible and bring up how awful the staff is. I'm telling you that in my experience, the food straight up isn't safe to eat. It's overwhelmingly apparent that the management here is somewhere near as bad as possible because there's nothing good about that store that they have any control over. This is clearly a top-down problem because there's no way the issues with this location should ever be allowed to be so consistent. If I didn't just get off the phone with corporate to complain, I would bet any one of you that when you go in, you will find something to be disgusted by. Seriously, just burn this one to the ground so the neighborhood doesn't have to be traumatized by the memory of this place. You could replace the entire staff and anyone that's been there in the past year and has any sense wouldn't trust or want to give it another shot. Edit: Just noticed that there are only three photos of this actual location in the photos listed. The majority are of nicer locations uploaded "From the business owner." If you see a photo that looks nice, it's definitely not this location or is a VERY dishonest portrayal of it. Unbelievable. I also want to second everyone that's left a review saying there are constantly multiple shady people loitering in front of the location and it's uncomfortable to even walk in as a result. It was free slurpy and $1 hot dog day. I order my hot dog from the cashier. He tells the other guy who is getting a dog for another customer to grab another for me. I put on my toppings and leave. In my car I take a bite that is overwhelmingly spicy. I thought I'd accidentally gotten a jalapeño in with my pickles, which I know can happen. I check and also take a TINY bite of just the dog to make sure that I know what I'm talking about before I go back in and complain. I've been in food service before so I know how to handle things before I say anything. They obviously gave me a spicy dog rather then the regular one I ordered. So I go back in and tell the guy that he gave me the wrong one. He takes it from me, looks in the box and says, "YOU ALREADY EAT!" Ya, I took A BITE and that was how I knew it was SPICY and NOT what I ordered! He takes the dog out of the bun with tongs and throws it in the trash making a mess with the toppings I'd put on it in my box and then hands it back to me without even looking at me!! I like this 7-Eleven because the Slurpee machines are always ready to go unlike some other 7-Elevens I've been to. They also have ample parking spots, which is rare in North Hollywood. I always get a parking spot here and it's always a quick in and out. read more

Same deal you get at most 7/11's. Lots of coffee flavors, sugar choices, cups sizes, flavored creams, flavored syrups. The coffee here is like a 4/5. Now the 7/11 prepared foods are still sketchy to me. I've had a dog and a donut and both times did not feel good afterward so I just can't eat here except drink here. Slurpees and coffees are a thumbs up!! Now the service is always attentive when you flag them down or are ready to check out but they aren't smiling. They are always pissed off or nonchalant.
