Esso thankfully has the easy swipe key fob so I'm never using my credit card to swipe at the pump. Thanks to identity thieves, I've heard one too many stories about credit cards being compromised at the pumps. Another good thing about this place is that it's not insane to get and out. Plus it's conveniently located near the 401 on ramp. The last plus to this place is the cleanliness. No random junk left at the pump or gum stuck to the gas trigger (yes that has happened). They always have wind shield cleaner available and the wipers are not falling apart. They also always have paper towels stocked fully. When driving around work, this is the best station in the area.

I went in to see him and was informed that American Credit cards must be pre-approved? I told him that I needed to fill my tank for a rental car so how am I to guess on how much I need to prepay? The attendant told me to move my car to the middle aisle and then I could pump and then pay. What a pain in the A..! Why do we have to prepay in Canada when we are using a CC and here in the US they do not? Trust issues? I was a little disappointed.

Roughly five years ago, we moved to our current location, which is on the opposite side of the airport. It takes me longer to get to a gas station these days, should I need to. I like this location. If you have a rental car and are about to head off to the airport, I recommend filling up at this gas station. It's easier and convenient to fill up and head off than using the other station across the street. This station gets busy in the morning, as it is next to the airport valet parking lot. However, I never have an issue finding a pump to fill up my car. Gas prices are still on the high side these days, but it's not as outrageous as it was a month ago. Don't forget to use your Petro Rewards card to earn points towards various purchases, such as bottled water or a gas discount. (222)

I was making a left turn from Steeles Avenue East in Milton, onto Martin Street. I noticed that gas was much cheaper at this Petro-Canada gas station, I made a sharp right turn to stop by. I did need to fill up my car sooner than later. It was a road trip day. I'm glad that I did. Gas was at 130.9 cents a litre. It was roughly six cents lower than the price at my local gas station. This gas station has a convenience store and plenty of gas pumps. The gas pump that I was at was clean and fully operational. I inserted my trifecta of plastic cards (Petro-Points, 407 ETR savings, and credit card). Everything went well. I pumped gas hands-free as I checked things out. Beyond the convenience store looking eastbound is the car wash. It's touchless and had a steady stream of customers. Back at the pumps, I was perhaps one of three people at around 5 pm pumping gas. I got my receipt once I was done and headed into my car. I had a great experience. When I'm back in this area, I will check out the convenience store and see what it has to offer. (336)
