It definitely fits the vibe of a hidden gem considering there's only street parking and the store front hides a beautiful courtyard in the back. I ordered the turkey and provolone croissant which was delicious and filling, and the barista was so kind in helping me decide what to order for a drink. I tried their guava matcha with oat milk. The matcha was not as strong as I'd hoped for but the guava flavoring was delicious! I also appreciated that they had simple syrup on the side for customers who like a sweeter drink.

On the hunt for different flavored matcha lattes and heard about the guava matcha so had to try it first myself. The guava fruit is not so sweet to begin with so didn't expect a sweet matcha tea. But overall felt underwhelming with not much flavor to it. The matcha itself was decent but nothing special. Also threw in a vegan croissant (yes you heard correctly). A little bit more on the drier side compared to the regular croissant but pretty good. Overall gave a 3.5 out of 5. More of a reflection tif the guava matcha but it could just be my personal preference I'm terms of the type of fruity flavor. The staff was Avery friendly and the service was otherwise fast and awesome. Plenty of space to do some work if you're looking for a place to chill. Wouldn't mind stopping by again to try other drinks in the menu.

I'm in love with their local artworks and trinkets for sale. The patio is pretty too. Thanks to the tent shades it's so nice to hang out there even in hot LA weather. I have only tried the cold brew and I gotta say theirs is a very nice blend of earthy coffee and a hint of fruity. I thought it was like blueberries but the server said it had a banana taste. After she said that, the hint of banana is all I can taste. Not complaining! I get the Canadian Bacon panini croissant. It's flakey and the havarti cheese contrasts the Canadian bacon so well. And that sauce. What's that sauce!? The servers are always friendly and chill. I just wish they don't run out of their secret sauce a lot. I really look forward to passing by the shop and having my breakfast before I start my field work. I can't wait to try the hot drinks in the winter. I already have a few lattes in mind ;) PS - if you'll stay a while to work (they got WiFi) might as well find a good parking spot across Jefferson. The cul-de-sac can fill up pretty quickly. But I'm glad they have at least a spot for 2 cars.

Inside, the communal table is packed with worker bees and moguls in the making. I don't hate on that. Plenty of shaded outdoor space to get work done or talk if you need to do so. The drinks tasted great! I had the maple walnut latte upon the recommendation of the super sweet and cute male barista. Later, I ordered the almond croissant and the Hojicha Latte. Incredibly tasty! The drinks didn't get overpowered by the sweetness, and the Hojicha Latte had a chocolate like earthiness that I adore (a lil' on the subtle side for hojicha, but I still loved it). When they completed my drinks, one of the sweetest baristas sang the Beatles' Michelle to let me know. She (beautiful as well, inside and out) made my day! Perhaps my month, lol! I highly recommend this place for the quality food, exceptional service and amazing vibe that welcomes all people. As for the parking? Park on Sycamore, the side street west of Sycamore, take the Metro Expo Line (I don't know the cot damn letter, I'm old school, lol) or ride the bus lines (212, 35/38) to get there. It's not that bad if you are willing to walk. I'm glad South LA finally re-attracts non-pretentious neighborhood gems like House Coffee Co. Better late than never in my eyes.

I stopped by and ordered two large lattes, one vanilla and one caramel, and the flavors were great. Unfortunately, the experience is overshadowed by the extremely long wait times. It's honestly ridiculous that a place primarily selling coffee and pastries takes so long to get through orders. There were only two employees working. As much as I enjoy their products, the wait is frustrating and takes away from the overall experience. The coffee and pastries deserve five stars, but the service and efficiency need improvement at the Kaiser location. Great coffee, delicious pastries, but unfortunately, a very disappointing wait.

The person i came with wanted to order something so we could sit down and do some computer work. He ordered the almond turmeric latte and asked for no sweetness to which the reply was "cant change the sugar its already pre made" ....that alone didnt feel like it deserved the premium price they were charging for it. Then we were informed the place closes at 3 which was a bit unwelcoming we arrived around 1:20 and thats quite some time before closing it also felt like a follow up excuse for not having coffee. Then thought maybe i should get some food and stared at the menu at a 18 dollar breakfast burrito, i was completely turned off at this point. I can tell there is potential for the business but this was not the sunday afternoon experience i was hoping for. i really want to support smaller businesses and local coffee shops but i have to be honest this was very dissapointing experience. The shop overall lacked a good vibe/ sense of care for the place and people coming in which is ironic since theres a sign that says good vibes only.

I'm giving it a 1 star rating because the coffee I bought for myself and wife just tasted really bad. She ordered the Buna Miel and I ordered the Vietnamese Latte. I took 3 sips and couldn't force myself to drink much more of it. Completely wasted money. But the service was friendly, lol. This place is not a coffee shop I would ever comeback to nor would I recommend to anyone else in my inner circle. OH! and why did they charge me .75 for ice in my latte and $1 for ice in my wife's drink if they were the same size cups?! I felt that was a rip-off. I didn't like this place.

I heard so many good reviews on this cafe and had my mind on wanting to visit there, one day since like earlier this year. I live about 5 minutes away so I walked here, as a solo hangout with myself since I wanted to try out this cafe. The some of the workers were really nice and friendly by introducing me to their drinks and pastries on their menu. They are very open to answering my questions, huge brownie points. I got their most popular drink; Sugar Cookie iced matcha latte and I can see why it's their best drink ever lol The taste of the matcha latte balances out with the sweetness of the Sugar Cookie cream top which is perfection of best worlds, 10/10 recommend! I love apple pie so I also got their apple crumble frosted danish pastry and it's really good when heated, omg it was so good. I would love to return for their fall/winter speciality drinks if they plan to post them on their menu sometime soon. This cafe will be my local, to-go location for now on anddd my new favorite spot :) see you soon!

I love when a coffee shop has its own character and feels different from your typical coffee spot! One thing I really liked was how much seating they have! There's plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs, which is a huge plus. I noticed people on their laptops getting work done, while others were just sitting around chatting and enjoying their time. It's such a nice spot whether you want to get some work done, meet up with a friend, or just enjoy your coffee in a beautiful setting. The staff was friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience even better. For my drinks, I ordered the iced vanilla cold brew which it was ok and the iced Qamarie latte which was so good !! I love trying different coffee shops, especially ones that offer something a little different, and I was excited to try their drinks! Another plus is that they have a parking lot, which makes stopping by so much easier. Parking can definitely make or break a coffee run, so I always appreciate when a location has its own parking. Overall, I had a great first impression of Qamaria Yemeni Coffee! Between the beautiful Yemeni inspired decor, plenty of seating, welcoming service, and coffee options, this is definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Los Angeles. I love finding coffee shops that have a whole vibe of their own, and this one is definitely worth a visit!
