I was here when they were robbed at gun point in 2019 I lived around the corner and spent many dollars here. This location doesn't offer any of the good deals on the app so I decided against buying a coffee. I threw it away and the night cashier yelled at me No! no! No! You can't do that!!! Not all 7-Eleven's or "Sevs" as I like to call them are created equal and this one is the exception to the rule. I only come to this location and let me tell you why. First of all the Slurpee machine is always running to perfection. I cannot express to you the levels of my trials and tribulations over the years of going into a Sevs on a hot summer's day, throughout the greater Los Angeles area, only to discover that the Coke Slurpee is not working or ready. You want to talk about ruining your day? That'll do it. And what a miscarriage of justice it is! You're hot and you just want a refreshing Coke Slurpee to cool you down, but the machine wasn't prepped or running only to leave you with the disappointment of a warm brown syrup waiting to test your patience. It would be like McDonald's not ready to serve fries. It doesn't make sense! Not this Sevs though. The Slurpees are always flowing. I recently discovered the gem that is this location in the past few months and now I drive ten minutes out of my way just to come here because I know the Slurpees will be frosty and delicious every time. Beyond the fact that it's abnormally clean and more organized than your average Sevs the shelves are neatly stocked. They even have hand-held shopping baskets and an Amazon locker if you need to pick up your order. Cups and straws are organized and neatly stacked while counter tops are consistently wiped and kept clean. They don't sell alcohol at this location, which probably attributes to minimizing the number of homeless people hanging around in comparison to most other locations, and this also helps with keeping the front of the store relatively clean. Yet another plus to this location. The cashiers are always efficient and attentive here. If there aren't two cashier's getting through the line while the man in front of me desperately demands his hot dog there's at least a single cashier working two registers simultaneously. I can't get that kind of attention and service anywhere! The point being is that the people that work at this location do a great job and it is to be commended. In this day and age it's refreshing, much like a delicious Coke Slurpee, to see a store still run with pride, attention to detail, and consistent effort. Oh thank Heaven for this 7-Eleven. read more

My ebt card was skimmed at this location and they stole all my money on it. I know it was here because I don't go to seven 11 at all and happened to be in the area for a Drs appointment for my me and my baby was thirsty. I've filed all the reports and got confirmation that the money was with drawn at this location even the exact time they stole my money. I've filed a complaint with there corporate store and am waiting for resolution. I'm sure they have video evidence of the act. It may seem like an odd thing to give 7-Eleven a bad rating, because we should all know what we're getting into- but I have to warn people. My credit card information was stolen 3 different times in a row over the last year- each time with a new card. I couldn't find a common denominator, until the person at the bank specifically said "do you go to 711 on Vermont" In fact I do....I buy my cigs here every single week- always using my bank card. They mentioned that others have gotten their CC card info stolen from here as well. So ever since I stopped using it here, and only using cash, the cycle finally stopped. Just an fyi; I can't be 100% sure, but I'm at least 99% sure that it was from here; since there is no other place that I regularly use my card at. The fun 7-11 on a lively corner of Los Feliz, this is. Always interesting folks hanging out, despite the the absence of alcohol to be sold here. Within good reason, since booze would only make things a lot worse. They had a seasonal slurpee flavor I loved here, Orange Creme. And the day they stopped carrying it, was the day I vowed to curse this 7-11 forever. I've come in here in all forms of physical state: lively, energetic, tired, angry, sad, drunk, post-concert dehydration, etc. And it's always the same Indian cashier that looks at me like I'm some crazy woman. And I wonder why he would stare at *ME* this way considering all the other customers that were honestly way weirder than I was. When I first moved to Los Angeles in the mid 1990's I moved to the Los Feliz district. This 7/11 was there day 1 and still stands. This 7/11 has a small dedicated parking lot that it shares with a small adjacent restaurant. This location is in the heart of the Los Feliz District on Vermont Ave. Within walking distance of this 7/11 you will find Fred's 52, several restaurants, several bars, an actual independent book store (yes they still exist) outdoor cafes, a movie theater and even a Post Office. This 7/11 on the weekends reminds me of a club. You get quite a mixture of people rolling through this location and you will never know who you will come across. Take yesterday for example I ran into someone from the same City/town where I grew up. We did not know each other and it just happened to come up during friendly conversation in line. As I waited in line to pay for items I had selected (Ice tea & gum) I observed the cashier greet several customers as they walked in the door in their native language. I find the staff here to always be friendly, pleasant and always with a smile on their faces. The inside and out of this 7/11 is pretty darn clean including the parking lot. Unbeknownst to me you can order packages on Amazon and have the items delivered to the 7/11 inside of your residence. I am not really sure how this works but it is a wonderful program especially with the amount of theft that takes place of unattended packages. I heard about rumors of a 7-11 without any form of booze. I think I knew a person who had a cousin who knew a friend of a friend who once went into one near USC that didn't have any booze.. but I think it was nothing more than an urban legend. Sure enough, when thinking of a place to get my drink on before a Greek Theater concert I stopped by here and was let down by the lack of anything alcoholic. Oh well, Cap n Cork isn't too far away. I have the receipt clearly marked with their error They refused to refund the money nor give me the gift card that they added the funds to! After being called a liar and a thief, I asked them to simply review the security tape of the the transaction, they absolutely refused to. After having them call the owner r(who refused to give his name or contact info) who again called me a liar and a thief, he said the earliest possible date he could review the security tape was in 3 business days. Wow. I'm reviewing a 7-Eleven. What's wrong with me? Unlike the 7-Elevens of my childhood this one is clean, organized and not too shady! I haven't seen any flies in the wienny roaster and the staff has been pretty friendly although on occasion this one guy is completely spacey. And coffee? Talk about coffee! I had no idea they had such an awesome coffee bar. We're talking extra caffeinated, blueberry, hazelnut, cinnamon, steamed milk, hot chocolate..the list goes on and on and on.
