If I ordered that same order in the morning, it would've taken 5 minutes, probably LESS. This is not a singular occurrence.

Only thing I've never liked is how understaffed this DG can be.. I know some stores can't "afford" a decent size staff but man I was here last week and a worker seemed so stressed and he looked like he was the only one on floor and seemed new. Felt bad. They've also recently added a self check out which is convenient.

I frequently visited this Publix when I lived in the Champions Gate area of Florida. The deli at this Publix will blow you away with their utterly delicious fresh from the deli subs, they cut their meat fresh for their subs daily (and sometimes directly as requested by customers for custom orders) and they only use fresh daily baked bread from their bakery for the sub rolls. They offer an assortment of subs that you can choose from (for example I like the chicken cordon Blu sub), and you can choose to add or subtract anything from the subs on the list. You also have the option of customizing your own sub any way you wish! Public has a wonderful bakery as well. My all time favorite dessert is the Publix key lime pie. It is the best key lime pie that I've ever tasted. Publix doesn't stop there, next they will take your breath away with their jaw dropping beautiful wedding cakes. Publix hires only the very best cake decorators for their stores. These true works of art are also very tasty as well! I could go on and on about the many ways that I love Publix! I actually lived in Silicon Valley, CA for a period of time, and during that time, I would talk to everyone I knew about how amazing Publix grocery stores were. I truly wish that Publix would expand to provide their services to the West coast. The associates at this Publix are all very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, and respectful. Trying to get any service at the deli counter is a joke. Everyone is busy doing what appears to be nothing, or talking non-stop with friends. Fruits and vegetable look like they got run over by a truck first. The store managers obviously have not a clue about how to get their employees to clean and work. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! The new store in Haines City is currently better, but they have a select crew and who knows how much longer they will be working there. Florida needs a real supermarket chain to move in and supply quality goods. Hopefully this will happen.
